The second LP I got. It was a gift from my dad. He said “if you like metal you’ll probably like this. Has a bit of screaming in it as well” I do like it dad! It’s a piece of art
I love how "Where Does This Ocean Go?" from the first Ghost in the Shell O.S.T. pretty much is a tribute to "Hyperballad". I'm still trying to wrap my head around how I heard of Yoko Kanno before Bjork though.
a lot of the video versions of her songs are different from the album versions. some of them have slight changes others like "all is full of love" are completly different from there album counterparts.
its good to have something radically different from the rest on it. theres this song thats a homogenic B sides called scary. i think it should have been on homogenic despite not fitting in. i didnt like most of the homogenic B sides other than that one speaking of B sides, the vespertine ones are incredible and better than some of the songs on the actual album.
While on a break from the sugarcubes. BJORK actually made an album as a collaberation with a band with a huge complicated icelandic name. its jazzy stuff, mostly traditional songs but yes it has the voice of bjork on it so its bound to be unique in some way
This album is weak compared to masterpieces like Homogenic, Vespertine, Medulla, and Vulnicura. I find Army of Me, It's Oh So Quiet, and Enjoy to be really annoying. Hyperballad and Isobel are great though.
+Ellory Schrepel this album is perfection like all bjork's albums (except maybe vulnicura - didnt grow on me much altho i appreciated the artistry involved)
Guy who showed this album to me 11 years ago changed my life forever....Will never forget
TheMedvedica did he have a penis?

+Kevin F Kinda weird not hearing it??
Kevin F yes, I noticed that this version is slightly different, if you listen closely.

ESTAN HABLANDO ITALIANO....QUE CHIDO ARRIBA EL AMERICA DE MEXICO.....
ITS OH SO QUIET IS SO OUT OF PLACE ON THIS ALBUM
+Eamon Os It's a cover of an old jazz song, so it should be.
+skinny9283 Yeah its ok as a novelty number, a totally different genre
its good to have something radically different from the rest on it.

all im saying is that in my opinion its totally out of place and genre. might as well stick the 1812 overture in there
***** Post is one of her most varied albums though honestly
classic
"I miss you" was always on this album??

HI RICARDO LOPEZ......
what's up with possibly maybe on this, it's wrong
Bjork should have married Mike Patton of Faith no More and togehter they could have created Plavalaguna
Ihtele tachtala.
suckerpunch
I'm new to Bjork, and this is my opinion:
the music is great, but the accent sort of takes me out of it for some reason. Just my honest opinion.
IM NEW TO HER MUSIC HUMAN BEHAVIOR IS PRETTY GOOD ONLY A COUPLE OF SONGS, IIM A METAL HEAD SO FOR ME IS LIKE WEIRD BUT GOOD....
J PEREZ Ilike all kinds of music, and I even make music.

I am new to her music also. I have heard of her . I like human behavior and venus has an boy and an couple of others on her first album.

+Ellory Schrepel psssshh please, this is way better than medulla and vulnicura, but I'll give you vespertine and homogenic
+Ellory Schrepel this album is perfection like all bjork's albums (except maybe vulnicura - didnt grow on me much altho i appreciated the artistry involved)
+Ellory Schrepel but i agree i dont like 'its oh so quiet', least fave bjork song
+Ellory Schrepel Nobody cares.
+Namami88 because it ISN'T a Bjork song. It is an older than dirt pop/jazz/swing tune. Fun and brave of her to do it, but maybe not a good choice..
