"So much sussery is going on." That's what I like. There's very few people here who I even halfway trust, but I'm fine with that. I have no idea if Liandrin is "good" or "evil," for example, but I do know Kate Fleetwood is killing it. (And it is really good to have Mat back. The dynamic isn't the same without him.)
When Moiraine talked about a group of people so strong that they make Aes Sedai look like tavern magicians, she was talking about the Forsaken, not Seanchan. Ishamael is a Forsaken for example and they previously thought he was the Dark One himself but he is not. That Seanchan in the meeting and Padan Fain could be Forsaken or just simply Darkfriend. Only one who is as strong as the most powerful Forsaken is the Dragon as the Dragon is the most powerful channeler of all time and Nynaeve is close to some of the weaker Forsaken as well.
They really gave a one-note character so much nuance and depth, didn't they? I am probably in the minority, but I'm glad they devoted screen time to that over Ingtar. (They really needed more episodes to work with, though, as his story made a point they will have to address sooner or later.)
I always enjoy non-book readers reaxn to the show 😊 it's like seeing the story for the first time again through your eyes. And I'm so for the in-depth discussion of every itty bitty detail lol this is the kind of mind-set you're gonna need for the books coz RJ is a master at foreshadowing. Can't wait for that too
@@Matthewvhaynes oh for sure 😁 it's fun to see your theories/predictions. Might I suggest a different list of your predictions that you can go back to mark if or when they come true or not. 😁 I did that for the books and it was a high when I got something right and hilarious when I got things wrong
Great job! I discovered your channel earlier this summer while looking for a WOT fix. I thought they did a good job of showing the difference between the Foregate and the City. You can really tell which is the wrong side of the tracks. I like your theory about the origins of Liandrin's son. As a book reader, it is fun to once again not know what is coming next.
You mentioned the color of the weaves...THAT - the visual depiction of the weaves - was the thing i was most excited about in an adaptation! I was disappointed in the first season when we didn't get colors. I worried that they wouldn't go into detail about the magic system, which was some of the most enjoyable parts of the book for me. Jordon was stingy with detailed descriptions, but when he did devote page time, the colors and shapes bloomee in my mind! Not enough fan art of the weaves.
I'm so glad you guys have picked up on the whole "The Truth an Aes Sedai tells you is never the truth you think you hear." Thing.
Padan Fein is a dark friend, a dark friend is a human that's given his soul to the dark one.
Let’s get it. I’ll watch this while I swim with the kiddos.

Im not sure if it wasnt clear in the reaction but we understood that she was talking about the forsaken! 😄
Interesting what you guys thought of Liandrin. I hadn’t considered that for her story with her boy

Thanks for choosing to come back!
yas! It's really fun to be surprised at every episode 😁 after decades of loving the books, a fresh new take brings joy
It feels so nostalgic to be watching the show with you two again!
love the reaction
Thank you!

I love your reactions but I can't understand your after discussion, I mostly hear music.
The books are so much better. They are so off track with the show. Literally none of this boring crap happens in the books.
