Nice RV.. so much more convenient than having to climb on top of your vehicle. Can't wait to see yalls adventures in your traveling home. New Adventures await......
Hahaha loved the outtakes, that is a damn nice addition for sure and it looks like it has everything you could ever want. Man i wish my wife liked the outdoors ill have to stick to glamping 🤣
english words... you never know if there is a specific word for something or if it's just an igniter. in german, there are specific words for EVERYTHING🤣
Yep it kept draining our battery. We bought a Renogy 100ah, and wired it in parallel with the marine battery. Now it doesn’t drop below 80% at night, even if we run the furnace and electric mattress
Thanks Rob! Yeah we took about 6 months to decide haha. It’s a lot more work, and everything takes twice as long to do, but it’s worth it. We’re able to stay gone longer and be comfortable while traveling which is huge. Thanks as always for watching!
@@PereaPhotography yeah, my dream is to drive to a far away location where you have to be early (birding or sunrise) and be on time. i could use the camper as a hide, funny enough it works i found out in my army days shooting from a army van. lets see what video you can come up with using the new RV.
Great trailer review, everything you need for a home away from home. Hodor door stop, pretty fancy guys👌 Anti-sway and braking control very important when pulling a trailer, especially when flying down a hill😲😝
Perhaps I learned the wrong way, but I've always been told to hook the safety chains to the tow vehicle hitch from behind (reach under and pull it back toward you to hook it...or with your configuration pull the hook up through the bottom of the attachment) rather than over the top as you did in the beginning of the video. Thanks for the video & safe travels!
I purchased a 2022 Ford F150 PowerBoost Hybrid pickup that has a built-in 7.2KW (Pro-Power) generator. This has been amazing for boondocking and for camping anywhere there is no power available. Very-efficient and extremely handy for lots of uses. Also have a Flagstaff E-Pro trailer.
Just bought an e pro. Got it home and couldn’t get the door unlocked. Your video cracked me up while also being informational. Thanks! (Now I just need a video on how you unlocked the door 🤣)
Great little camper - but you didn't mention the weight of it - nor anything about AC/Heater so you stay comfortable out on the road. But I will google this camper and learn more about it. Thanks for taking the time to show us your home away from home.
Thanks Tom! The dry weight is 3200lbs, and we have a propane furnace, which heats up the trailer really fast! The AC can only be ran if plugged into shore power, or a larger generator.
Thanks for this review. It's great you can tow this with a 4runner. If I may ask what kind of mpg do u get towing the trailer and do you feel like you have enough power? Thx!!
Thank you for the walkthrough. I can certainly see the advantage you having a trailer like this when doing landscape photography. I was just thinking about getting one of those portable batteries when I take my trips as well. Right now I have all my devices plugged into a DC converter when I am driving. I have all these wires hanging out all over my FJ. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy them. Nyall P.S. I am hoping to take one of your workshops next year after I have been vaccinated against Covid.
I looked at all the options for this trailer, and it seems you picked the best all-around. Only one question. Does the dinette convert to a single bed? Oh, and great tour!
Litter box is in the bathtub. We also got the litter champ which fits next to the toilet. And a small hand vacuum to clean the tub from loose cat litter before taking a shower. So it doesn't clog the drain.
I have the Rockwood 19fd version of your trailer, model year 2021. I still have the original two batteries that came with the trailer. When the Sun goes down, if my battery capacity is not at 100%, with only the refrigerator running and the occasional light or two for a short period, the batteries will not stay above 50% capacity by morning. I have to idle my tow vehicle a bit to charge the batteries through the seven pin connector to keep it above 50% and not damage the batteries. How much extra capacity did that one lithium battery give you? What happens if you have multiple consecutive cloudy and rainy days with minimal solar charging? What kind of longevity does one lithium battery give you?
This was very helpful. Thank you for posting. We are considering the same to pull with our Jeep. Can you share any feedback on the comfort of the bed? My husband is 6'2 so we are considering the free standing bed. Appreciate any feedback.
Hey Joe! Right now we just use it for our trips. We still have a home base. I think if we were to go full time, we would probably want something a little bigger
Thank you! We had to have it shipped from Louisville, Kentucky. But it was still cheaper to ship it from there, than the other places we found it. One in Florida and one in California.
I full time in my Geo Pro 19fd and I'm looking to increase the interior storage space. In the bathroom, the back wall between the medicine cabinet and the cabinet behind the toilet is wasted space. It's 25.5" wide. I'm trying to find a bathroom cabinet exactly that wide and about 5-7" deep so as not to intrude on shoulder room while using the toilet. Probably going to have it custom made as my skills are limited and a search for the right size and complimentary finish have been unsuccessful. I'm afraid to screw anything into the walls, so the right size cabinet would screw into the two cabinets on each side for support. Other spaces for extra storage cabinets... attach one to the side of the cabinet over the sink extending a little over the window valence. I'd like to go all the way over the window but drilling into the wall would be necessary for support. Same story for the space over the window on the passenger side left of the couch. Under the cabinets over the dinette would be a good place for a shelf about 5-6" high without compromising head room while sitting. I'm going to search for a cabinet maker in my area.
Awwww thank you for responding so quickly :-) are they the same price you think? I’m so sorry for the dumb question...I am a lost trailer soul LOL I was just wondering if they are made by the same company but I will check it out on videos thank you so much your video is very informative
Rockwood and Flagstaff are twin brands, made in the same factory and on the same assembly line. as far as i know, they are around the same price tag! good luck finding your trailer😊
If you're having any issues with your lithium battery, be sure to check your solar control panel and be sure it's set for lithium batteries. It's got 4 different modes for charging.
The 4Runner does...ok. On flat roads no problem. Big hills or high ends, it sucks haha. And be prepared to get about 210-240 miles on a full tank. We are getting a tundra this summer instead of towing with the 4runner
How's the 4runner doing as a tow vehicle? I'm also looking at Geo Pro 19FBS (similar trailer/tongue weight) and concerned a bit about my 4runner towing capacity. Thanks.
The 4Runner does...ok. It struggles a lot when fully loaded and not on flat highways and roads. Going uphill over long distances can get annoying with hunting for gears because it can’t maintain speed. If it’s super windy it’s downright miserable. We’re actually looking at getting a tundra at some point in the near future to pull the trailer with.
I have a Geo pro 19FBS I have been towing with my ford edge v6!!! Slowly but for the last 5 years now it goes but it certainly doesn’t fly! I’m looking at a ridgeline now
Great review! Looking at buying this same model. Would you mind sharing what you paid? PM? I want to make sure I am getting a good price from the dealer.
No you cannot replace the bathroom door with a pocket door. The wall behind the dinette separating from the bathroom has a bunch of wiring in it for the solar system and the television and the antennas, Plus the door to the bathroom is not at the same angle as the wall.
On our trailer, if the battery is flat and I am unable to raise or lower, I plug it into the vehicle and then I have power to raise and lower, get awning in etc. One has to remember that one is plugged nor there will be a whole bunch more cursing. Enjoy the trailer!
Watch out for those cheap tires that come with the Forest River RVs, they’re called China Bombs for a reason 💣 Also eagle eye tire pressure, quickest way to a catastrophe. Stay safe!

Hahahaha! HODOR door stop 🤣 Does the Fridge/Freezer not have a propane option? I always used that when off-grid.
Haha gotta love the Hodor door stop! And unfortunately no, it doesn’t. It’s 12v which is ok, but it would be nice to have a propane option.
