- Charice sings "God Bless America" at halftime of the Jacksonville Jaguars' home opener; as part of the 9/11, 10th anniversary tribute.
Charice gets prepped and awaits her turn reverently as SSgt George Black of the Florida Air National Guard performs "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes.
I have been a fireman for 33 years. That hymn and song make me choke up every time. What a truly gifted young lady she is!!!! Makes one proud inside.

Eight-years and counting ! Still watching. Very inspirational. VFW's never get tired of this. And she sang this anthem with respect !!!!
Yup, it was a high 91 degrees F that day. I was there. Charice was at the end zone when she sang the Star Spangled Banner and at the West side of the football field when she sang God Bless America. Folks, you have to remember that this is a sporting event and an event honoring those who died and survived the 9/11 tragedy. The crowd sure did become emotional and patriotic that day. It's already a big deal that Charice has been invited to sing and did very well.
