I wish we had more Biblical pastors like Jack who are bold in civics and not afraid to battle evil!!!!
I got saved in 2020 and water baptized by Pastor McClure at Calvary Chapel San Jose. Santa Clara County had some of the worst lockdown restrictions and the church was hit with some of the largest fines in the nation.
It is due to brave men like these pastors that helped me move from living in fear to embracing trust and peace, guiding me to find truth in scripture and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
Thank you Pastor Jack and thank you Babylon Bee for being light and humor to a dark time.

I am a cradle Anglican but I have been following Pastor Jack since the “pandemic.” Discovered him accidentally and once you hear him, you realize how learned he is on the Bible, that he is authentic and a very gifted teacher. My church/denomination has been largely silent (and still is) at a time when we need our earthly shepherds more than ever before. If only we could clone Pastor Jack in this lost world. He is a shining light and truth seeker. I encourage everyone to listen to him and share his sermons, talks and interviews. God bless you, Pastor Jack and Godspeed!🙏✝️🙏

The truth is that God alone knows the hearts of men and Jack pretends to know what God alone knows (the state of Jordan Peterson's heart). This is how you know Jack is not trustworthy and certainly doesn't teach what the Bible teaches. Otherwise he would recognize that God alone knows the heart of man.
That pastor shows me ,, as a follower of Christ how I should walk.

Preach it, Jack! I got to know him in the 90's as we engaged in church planting in the former Soviet Union. He is frank, enthusiastic, has a real heart for people, is diligent in spreading the gospel, is kind, brave, funny, and chipper.

I am thankful for Covid, as it forced us to change churches, moving to a church that was open, as well as independently run, not having to answer to a 'governing authority'.
Jack Hibbs has the right idea, but I don't agree with his idea that, when someone tells you to do something ungodly, they lose their mantle of authority. To obey God, at times, I have had to disobey very godly people for whom I still have great respect. Their mantle was unchanged when they told me to disobey God. They simply didn't know what they were doing, and I've learned that the very idea that you always obey someone in a position of authority is abusive, manipulative and controlling.
Clearification, always submit to that person in authority, but always obey God. If they are at odds, obey God and accept the consequences that person in authority gives you with respect and love (while still availing yourself of avenues of appeal if that is appropriate).
One time, my consequence was having to miss lunch because the president thought the discussion was that important, and then a lunch made by the president's wife after we had talked through things. He still didn't see things the way I did, though he could see that potentially I was obeying God, but there was soooo much of God's love in that sandwich and the gesture was not lost on me.
I was very concerned in NOVEMBER 2019. I followed, as best I could, what was going on in China and Italy. Knowing history and the brutal ruthlessness of govt, including the US, as well as 25+years as a nurse, I also knew that germ warfare is a very real and more terrifying thing. I also knew how desperate the deep state globalists were....
When the national health director was fumbling around telling blatant LIES about basic epidemiology and viral replication, I knew the whole thing was a sloppy psyop.
Nearly lost my job, but 5th circuit judges stood firm. My husband and I had already decided that our lives were in God's hands and maybe staying home was the plan. One thing was sure: Fauci ouchy definitely was not.
My Mom used to tell us that when God closes a door, he opens a window.

I was so angry when the government said "you cannot go to church". To recommend people close church is one thing. To mandate that is unconstitutional. Later several courts agreed.
Boy did it light a fire in my worship life when newsom said you cannot sing in church!!!!

Jack’s topical sermons are just as good as his expository. Definitely not as much meat, but sometimes we just need a small salad for dinner.

I love Pastor Jack and I attend Calvary chapel but these are false claims about John MacArthur. I'm guessing you have never really given him a listen? He is an amazing, faithful Pastor.

Not exaaactly Jack. MacArthur is very supportive of the police and opens his doors for any police funeral for free. MacArthur talks about the great relationship with the bylaw enforcement officers. And I’m not sure he has an accurate picture christian nationalism. But I still like him.

Pastor Hibbs got the Jordan Peterson read just exactly right I think. The analogy of launching into space a reentering just a little off trajectory was perfect. I've been there myself. JP is definitely on a path and he's making his way toward Christ but I also think there are VERY STRONG forces that do not want that to happen. He's very analytical and clinical and I suspect that gets in the way of him accepting FAITH in something that defies reason. God will sort it out in His good time❤
I think the cynicism is with the world, not with God, and he's hardening himself for protection because he hasn't given himself over to the promoting of the Spirit.
I go to a church when i can thats a family oriented church. They preach the gospel.
Zero on current events and culture.
As christians we shd know whats going on and how to walk thru it.

All that stuff was so divisive. Our church never closed it’s doors. We had a couple Lord’s Day worship services where they seated everyone by family, skipping a row, and once we met outdoors. But it was all nonsense. Those of us who thought it was all a big Plandemic were pissed to have to be doing anything differently at all, and those who were afraid of the pandemic were pissed that we weren’t doing enough to stop the spread. We literally had certain families sitting all alone, masked. And other families on the other side of the aisle, quite literally, just sitting there unabashedly breathing with our faces.
Oh well, I guess some folks will be able to tell their grandkids “This stand here sticker saved lives.”

Not sure his criticism of John McArthur is fair... I heard McArthur say they always had a good relationship with the city, allowing the city to use their parking lot, supporting and praying for the police, etc.
