    I love the vibrancy & color of those pretty yellow cactus flowers. One of the things I really enjoy is ur creativeness & use of the truly natural gifts from nature found growing around you! Another thing that I love about you is that you show us that not all beneficial soap ingredients have to be purchased. It's very inspiring. Mahalo nui loa for taking us on another adventure! Aloha nui!

    Another beautiful creation! I so look forward to your videos and your uplifting narration. And I must tell you that I am using the Manuka salve on my hand after having surgery. I’m still healing so it is sore and the salve helps elevate some of that soreness. And the fowerganza soap...I’m in love! And I’m not trying to fluff you up, it is so darn creamy and showering is what I imagine a spa experience to be. I make soap as a hobby, but Patrick this was way better than what I have made. Thanks for sharing your creations! 🌸❤️🌸

    I love this! This one took me by surprise. I know prickly pear fruits could be eaten and they flower this beautifully but I didn't know cacti were good for your skin. Is the alkanet really dissolved in alcohol and not in oil? I really liked the effect it gave to the soap. In the end all the colours were quite muted - more liked a cooked cactus and the m&p fitted in nicely. I loved this.

    • @SoapyOaksFarm
      @SoapyOaksFarm  5 років тому +2

      Hi Irene, yes I did dissolve it in alcohol, it allows me to add the color at full strength, allowing the alcohol to evaporate off, thus not adding to water weight. Thanks so much

    • @SoapyOaksFarm

      That is fully dependent on how full you fill the mold and the size you cut them. if you cut 1" you should get 11 bars

  • @Chattycrafter2580

    Prickly pear yum, I remember eating these as a child and those tiny spines were murder on the tongue. Here in Australia prickly pear is a weed and is eradicated by the local councils.
    Now a comment on the soap, all I can say is it looks amazing, I can imagine the creamy suds from that wonderful soap.

    • @SoapyOaksFarm
      @SoapyOaksFarm  5 років тому

      Paula, I had no idea it was such a weed there, I can imagine its a job controlling it, here it's pretty easy to control, it does not like winter and the goats a bit rough on it too. Thanks as always

    • @Chattycrafter2580
      @Chattycrafter2580 5 років тому

      Ahh the blessed goats, if there’s a weed they will devour it. And then they present us with the most amazing products, milk, meat and with angoras that divine fleece to spin. Goats are one of my favourite farm animals even though they are the most annoying escape artists but loveable.
