I soap at 80 degrees. I make tallow soap as well as lard soaps. Animal fats agree with my skin. I also love camel fat and salmon oil. Glad to see you using tallow. Beautiful soaps as always✨🌹✨🧼✨🧼✨
Glad to see u trying new things I remember long ago when I first subbed you said you didn't use these type of ingredients but I love tallow and lard they both are sooo amazing for eczema I know we can't make claims but that's what always worked for my skin and goats milk I also love crisco as well in my soaps
Lol I remember saying that as well. My grandmother always said never say what you won’t do( now look at me 🤣🤣) thank you for hanging in there with me this long because that was a while ago lol. I’ll have to try Cisco. When I test my tallow soap I got a feeling I’m going to love it 😊.
Yes. Preference! Unless u want a more conditioner type soap which most super fat conditioner bars at 15 percent but in a regular bar a desirable range is 5-8 percent
I didn’t 🤣🤣. It was on the creamy side not a lot of bubbles. I like to see a ton of bubbles. I did a lather test on it during one of my livestreams ( I can’t remember which one)lol.
I soap with Tallow. You need to soap at a hotter temperature. I usually soap around 110- 120° F. If you do a loaf, you also need to cut it at around 10-12 hours, otherwise it will be too hard.
I've made soap with olive oil, but never with tallow. However, I just rendered some beef fat to make my own tallow, so I think I'll try tallow soap now. Just one question: What is the purpose of the powdered sugar?
Yep, guess we forgot to mention the fast trace of cow tallow ! Oops! U can very quickly have soap on a stick 😂 I usually HP and I've had it happen. Live and learn. Glad u made it 100 percent tallow cause u won't be disappointed. It's both cleansing and conditioning . No need for coconut to harden. The lather won't be as fluffy bubbly cause it's a more dense creamy lather but so luxurious!! They turned out great❤ now Manteca (lard) actually slows trace so you'll probably be able to do a couple of color swirls with it❤!
@@3baashandmadesoaps937nope, didn't do anything wrong!! Beautiful work! I've personally dealt with fast acceleration even during HP so don't run yourself through the coals cause it wasn't u❤our lovely cow friends just have that kinda fatty tough hide😂 but u definitely won't be disappointed with the finished results ❤

I personally did 5. I seen some say they do between 5-8 so I guess personal preference.

How did you like the lather?

@3baashandmadesoaps937 I've seen what you're talking about and that's why I haven't attempted to make 100% 🤣
🤣🤣 don’t even waste your ingredients 🤣🤣.

Wow that accelerated really fast 😮
Yes it did.
hi there can i make tallow soap with soap base
Hey, so from my understanding the answer would be no. The soap base is already made and something like tallow won’t mix well with it.
