- Filmed in Los Angeles '89 for the title track from their MCA debut album, featuring Dave Cairns (of Secret Affair fame) on keyboards & Alan King (vocals) - the signed artists and creators of Walk On Fire.
Also featured in the video, Mike Casswell (Guitar) Phil Williams (Bass) John Henderson (Drums).
The album was produced by Walter Turbitt (the reknowned 'Cars' engineer & producer ) with all drums by Steve Ferrone and programming and keyboards by Richard Cottle & Peter- John Vettese.
Lead singer Alan King worked with me in Edinburgh Zoo for a while and was also the musical entertainment for my wedding. Awesome voice and a nicer guy you couldn't meet. 😎👍 🍻

Great album, totally underated and shame on MCA Records in the States for not getting behind this record at the time.
One of my most listened to albums / bands when it came out...Just recently found their second album (released in 2017)...! They should have been a much bigger band imo...
The long awaited 2nd album by Walk On Fire, 'Mind Over Matter', was released today on Escape Music, April 21st 2017 and features Michael Casswell on guitar, Phil Williams (bass), Trevor Thornton (drums), Richard Cottle (programming and keyboards), Dave Cairns (programming/ keyboards) and Alan King on vocals.

Awesome... It´s the first time i see a video of this band! Love it...
I found this album on cassette in the dollar store almost 28 yrs ago. I didn't know who the band was but the cassette cover looked cool. To this day I still have the cassette and was shocked to find their music on UA-cam. I was even more shocked to see others loved their music as much as I do. They're a very talented and underrated band for sure.
The recent 5 star review by Classic Rock Magazine for Walk On Fire's second album, 'Mind Over Matter' proves the band were on the right track all those years ago but let down by record company politics and their debut album was deliberately held back due to personal differences at board room level, what a shame!

Walk on Fire was a different kinda Melodic Rock/Aor Band among other Bands of their times! Their Lyrics were different! Their Music was different! Their Video was different! A different classy level! Not just a typical Melodic Rock/Aor Band! Unfortunately They didn't make any other Videos of Their other Songs and only two Albums, 'Blind Faith' (1989) and 'Mind Over Matter' which was made in the early 90s but was released last year.
If They could make more Songs & Videos then surely They should have gone much higher beating Other Melodic Rock/Aor Bands at Their Times and could have remained in the top among Other popular high rated Bands! All the Band Members were so talented like the lead vocalist Alan King, specially his voice had a high density and the musicians, Mike Casswell, etc.
But as They didn't performed more They remained ! But still They are listened!

A sentional uncommon melodic hard rock of the 80s But they only have one video of their first album Blind Faith. They also made another album in the early 90s but it was released in 2007 named Long Live Love, that is also fabulous! But no video.

Kyle King Dear Kylie, thanks for commenting. Thats just really sad, sometimes life takes us down very different paths. Well you can tell him he has a fan all the way in Hong Kong. I picked up the album back in 1989 - I had finished my A levels a couple before and was travelling in in France, where i picked up the album. I still have it - on cd, and its on my iphone. Please tell him that he had a fantastic voice. And thank him for giving joy to me at least through his and the bands music.
Not to worry. I will let him know. Thats good to know that his and Walk on Fires music is still listened to by people. He was involved in the soundtrack for a musical by Jeff Wayne (who done War of the Worlds), called Sparticus... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Wayne's_Musical_Version_of_Spartacus.

Didnt say much about him, aside that he was formerly the British Judo champion and that he was in Walk on Fire. That's literally all it said about him.

Hey Kenny,hope you're well.I have to say that the current incarnation of Hotel California is superb.A rare combination of fantastic musicians and great guys.Brilliant to see the band still flourishing 18 years after myself,John Wardell,Dave May and Minty Murray started it as a pub band!
We had a band in the 90s called Solid Gone doing original material and there's a few tracks on my channel. It fell apart when Jeff Wayne's Spartacus album came out, because we thought Al was going to be a huge star having sung the lead. So it goes. And I'm now going to give him a call about that hair.
Al's just told me the album they'd recorded but was never put out has just been released. Look for Mind Over Matter.
