With the latest update D4 is basically D3 now in terms of gameplay (you just do pit runs constantly) but more annoying (for example boss rotations is miserable and boring). Class balance is much better in D3. Swapping builds is far better in D3. Also I personally like the D3 builds better.
Being able to pause D3 is simply the reason I prefer it tbh and I can do what I want in any order basically unlike hell tides and world fights which are on a timer always
You're preaching to the choir, bro. 😁 How many times have I been tempted to alter the main char and try something new for a change - it almost never happened. 😂
Hey Filthy! Great vids. Be cool to see u do the necro mage build n see how that does for just farming speed. That was my favorite build for necro many seasons ago. Be nice to see something different!
Later in the season when I get more damage, I will try using Lost Time and Echoing fury with Rechel ring on Inarius, making the tornadoes help with fear procs. Another idea could be running Pestilence Bone Spear Teeth rune, where you use Corpse Lance with cold rune and Lost time just for movement speed and fear procs, then spam teeth for damage, though it will be quite weak I can imagine.
This looks super fun. Im new to d3 online so a maxroll build for this specific one would be great so i dont have to replay the video hundreds of times to see the item names ^^
I’ve been meaning to try Trag’Oul for a few seasons but something always got in the way … I ran the LoD variant in the anything cube season, but the Sims dying during pushing was a major annoyance … I like the trick I read about of getting 300 stacks of the 4pc buff then (re)casting Sims. I already have the full set except CoE and my boots are Ancient so all good there… the only thing is the ENs might be tricky so I might run an Inna monk alt for farming augments
What can you tell me about some differences between the blood nova build, between the inarius and tragoul sets? Which one would be better? Personally, I like the Inarius one better.
For pushing, Inarius has more power - higher modifier, but it is a lot harder to stay alive. I'd play Trags as it's the easiest to begin with so not optimal gear or higher paragon
Since you are not using resources, I would slot the Aquila Cuirass instead of the Goldwrap. Then share Unity with an unkillable follower instead of slotting Convention. Those two things would cut incoming damage by 75% and let you not be beholden to gold dropping for your toughness. I might even switch a DPS legendary gem for a defensive one Esoteric Alterations.
I just tested this and it seems that Aquila Cuirass does not reduce the self-damage inflicted by this build. HOWEVER, putting in "Life from Death" instead of "Final Service" does create plenty of Health Globes when Devour auto-absorbs corpses. It was plenty enough to keep me topped off most of the time. For times where it didn't for some reason, I kept Siphon Blood on my bar and would just tap it now and then to make up any difference. Plus, the bonus life can you stack from the skill with Trag'oul is nice to have.
Trag'Oul Nova is pretty much my default for pushing/ season/ ect. I started with a Monk this time even though I never really like it. Apparently Sumoko is the fastest T16 farmer.... Yeah... Time to level up a real character and have some fun! I mean that Monk is fun to play but just too squishy for my needs/ skills
This is for speed farming, so he mentioned it’s just a lazier playstyle to directly spam death nova, rather than channeling blood siphon to stack it up. But that’s because T16 speed farming doesn’t require much damage optimization or toughness once appropriately geared. You would want to go the siphon route for higher GR speeds or pushing, for sure.
I'm having a very hard time surviving with Inarius. My damage can kill things at T16 even, but I get 1shot from enemies in t13. The only thing I'm missing from the MaxRoll build I'm following is an amulet that gives me +5 bone armor stacks. There should not be anything else to give me survivability. What am I doing wrong?
@FilthyCasual96 I switched to Rathma AotD. Works better when you don't have perfect gear imo. I can clear T16 and above easily and I die very few times. I plan on switching to Trag Oul Nova for speed farming. Thanks for the response!
I finally was able to put this build together but its not working for me at all. - i struggle to keep bone armor stacked, especially when i get hit it lose the stacks while it still being on cooldown - i get oneshot so fast even on t12 - i have very little lifereg at all even with paragon lifereg leveled all the way, so once i drop low and cant cast bloodnova anymore i cant do anything - i cant even kill the yellow enemys in the t16 rift What am i missing, is it just my stats on the items? Or am i just playing this build wrong somehow I see you regen +25k, how?
If you use Scythe of the cycle it reduces the duration of bone armour by 4 seconds every time you use nova (this includes the automatic novas from the automatic ones). This is why I recommend Trags fang sycthe over it Here is a plnner maxroll.gg/d3/d3planner/174296641 just double check you have everything, including the legendary gems :-)
actualy you can with corpse explosion necro, or try to rerol one yellow scyhte to give weapon, have a big chance to get big dmg amplifier because all scyhte is usefull, just no green one..
good vid! nice build, but I did it different: leveling Soc doing no CR before, got my Firebird Explosive blast T16 build (auto Twister mob pull) build ready
Visions used to be great for loot and keys, but they significantly nerfed the key drop rate from vision bosses. It's still premium for other loot but less consistent for keys.
Why not just put the tragoul boots in, run the belt on your set. Then replace the ring with avarice band? You will have more going for you that way since your relying on gold, with increase of radius increase your aura field as well
It’s really refreshing watching D3 still alive!!
Nice build!
Thx for still covering D3.
This game will always be fun to play a few weeks into the new seasons.
I’ve watched every video for S33 & 32. Keep goin’ Frosty! cheers
I'd rather play D3 than D4.
why exactly?

does d4 still have that graphic bricking problem?
Same. I have way more fun playing D3.
Being able to pause D3 is simply the reason I prefer it tbh and I can do what I want in any order basically unlike hell tides and world fights which are on a timer always
Thank you I got rusty on necro and been playing monk for so long when I started I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t able to clear t16
I'm having the literal opposite issue lol
you're the best of our community, sad to let this season go as i have other stuff at hand, keep up the good work FC!
:-)
As a dh main its just so hard to play anything else then god dh on T16😅

You're beyond dedicated to this game man!
Great video🎉

Thanks MankeyMite, I think there will be something better/faster/more fun possible, keen to try the EF larcency ring combo
Thanks 👍

@@FilthyCasual96Awesome, looking forward to grind for it after work.

@@FilthyCasual96 Last season I only managed to reach the GR142 with the Inarius Set
With the Amulett draining 1% Life every sec, don't this alone proc the dmg Buff from the Offhand?
how about for speed GRs?
Great guide! Please make one for GR

I am using the Guardian's set with this and I have 1,854,284 life just standing here in town.
Looks like the Unity combo also does nothing to reduce self-inflicted damage. Bummer.
Trag'Oul Nova is pretty much my default for pushing/ season/ ect. I started with a Monk this time even though I never really like it. Apparently Sumoko is the fastest T16 farmer....

@ Filthy Casual :The 2 piece set states Blood Rush and Siphon Blood, SOOOOOO Why are you NOT using Siphon Blood ?

For t16 boon of the horder and goldwrap belt give infinite toughness. But inarius is squishy if your bone armour drops out

actualy you can with corpse explosion necro, or try to rerol one yellow scyhte to give weapon, have a big chance to get big dmg amplifier because all scyhte is usefull, just no green one..
Inarius Set same build but with Poison range rune, 30% bigger nova, almost on whole screen with 2 simulacrums..
Yes but does no damage unless you tag with the swirling bone effect on your character
good vid! nice build, but I did it different: leveling Soc doing no CR before, got my Firebird Explosive blast T16 build (auto Twister mob pull) build ready
Best way to farm keys for GR pushing n speed is farming visions in either Tfb and/or Cow levels.
Can just be me though since I usually get 3-4 boss rooms per vision
Visions used to be great for loot and keys, but they significantly nerfed the key drop rate from vision bosses. It's still premium for other loot but less consistent for keys.
@@Grimba86 yea, T16 Nephalem rift with good follower buff for extra 2 keys is the best option..
Yes, I do need to start mentioning this in guides. I just find visions a bit boring, and also a tad frustrating to find sometimes
@@FilthyCasual96 Yeah, I'm farming for LOD nova and im too lazy to do grs

So this definitely isn't a greater rift build.
I will make the GR guide soon hopefully GR115 in 2-3 mins
Fun but outdated. If you're not farming visions you're not getting tons of primals.
I still enjoy T16 over Visions, but you are right, I should cover that point when making key farming guides
