If only this would have been available with the duramax diesel & Allison transmission. It may have soldiered on for another 3-5 years. Still, once you drive one you can't help but respect the way it makes you feel. It truly is, Like Nothing Else.
I've never stopped wanting an H2 since it came out. I really want one since they stopped making them, and might get one even though it meets none of my practical needs. The H2 clearly has no competition. I still don't understand why people try to compare it to other trucks? I just love how big the exterior looks, and I never get tired of looking at it.
it just people are too sensitive and cheap ... as for me i stay in my own lane i like what i like and i like being different, get out of the crowd ... they don't pay your bills so good luck... don't let others change your decision
I know they brought back hummer but if they brought back “THE H2” that would be awesome + almost everybody loves them now....it probably would become a best selling vehicle !
honestly, i used to hate this car, but now i've been wanting one lol. will make for an awesome collector's car in the future when we're all driving hydrogen fuel cell or battery electric cars. but, i also wish that GM held onto this brand. think about it: new GM has a luxury brand that drives better than the germans (specifically the Cadillac ATS and CTS). a corvette with a world-class interior (who ever thought!) i bet that if they were to redesign the hummer h2 for 2014, they would have made it a whole lot lighter and more fuel efficient, with a world-class interior. seriously i bet it could have been a good alternative to the range rover now that GM takes cars seriously. shame.
I have an clean 03' H2 since 09', 2nd owner, white with 77k on the clock.. 3rd row seat and tire on back. The only Con is the turn radius, a 3 point turn is a 5 point turn.. It is sort after, being the condition and 1st year produced, many people ask me if I want to sell it, but it has become a weekend/car show vehicle for me.. Very fast with the 6.0 motor but not as roomy as the 97' - 2002 Expedition, I have one as well, after 02' they seem a bit tight with less headroom, I am 6'6" and swear by the Expedition, I have owned 2, got my first in 2001.
I love my 2009 H2. Is a super suv. Never give me problems, never! I just buy a Range Rover Sport for my wife , to see if I can change my H2, but Not! I prefer the H2. Love it!
They compare it to those other SUVS but I want to see those go through everything this goes through. 4 feet river cross no problem. Deep snow and mud please.
Standard features include air conditioning w/dual-zone climate controls, rear air conditioning w/rear controls, tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, cruise control, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, 8-way power frtons eats, memory system, premium sound system, 6-disc CD changer, rear radio controls, and outside-temperature indicator.
Love the shape of this truck. Real military testorone .!!! However can improve it with a 4litre diesel and reduce its weight using aluminium alloy for outer shell.
I have a question: We are looking at a 2008 H2 in Europe with about 20T miles on it. We are looking at exclusively as a towing vehicle for a 8000Lbs travel camper trailer about 35' long. We think it's got a wheel base comparable and HP (6.2L engine) similar to a Mercedes GL500, but heavier. How stable are they on the road (American cars tend to be somewhat soft)? We are worried about swaying coming from the trailer. Is it powerful enough to haul it's own weight (6700Lbs empty) and the 8000Lbs of the trailer? Anybody with experiences towing large trailers with an H2?? Thanks!... J-D.
@Janusha It may not have the off road abilities of the H1, but it still does pretty damn good. Search around on youtube, you'll see. There's one video in particular showing one doing some pretty crazy rock crawling.
i have a 2005 with 80k miles. i cant keep it on the road bc im constantly working on it. of course most have been typical replacements of parts beyond their life span, but now im getting low oil pressure warnings which isnt good. the engine isnt knocking, no loud valves or lifters, and i even replaced the OSU(oil pressure sensor) nothing. its been one thing after another ugh. i still love the truck but they should have put more reliable motors in them. these ls engines are notorious for oil pressure issues, oil pumps failing, rear main seal leaks, even the hydraboosters failing which control both steering and the brakes. if it fails drop into neutral and pray nothin jumps out in front of you smh
the skid plates good for undesirable encounters with rocks, logs, and other tought terrain like a prius, trees, hippies, or people for enviormental friendliness.
can sum1 do this for me - type in 'ford escape review' into the search bar and then choose the 2nd video down nd tell me what the make and model of the silver SUV on the left is at 0.32?? soz no its a bit of an effort bt i really want 2 know wat it it . . .
E tenho dito. Hummer forever...
This review is way biased, the guy obviously doesn't like it. Removal of the third row seats couldn't easier IMO. This truck just like all other are not about the MPG! The thing is loaded and effective. Please disregard the biased opinions and go drive one.
@sideslide23 PEOPLE WHO GET LOW MILEAGE ON THER HUMMERS DRIVE TO HARD MY MOM HAS A WHITE H2 AND ITS IN THE HIGH TEENS IF YOU ARENT HARD ON IT THEN YOU GET BETTER RESULTS AND THEY DONT MAKE THEM ANY MORE IS WHAT YOU MEAN YOU CAN STILL BUY THEM
any large car burns gas these get like at least 10mpg witch is not bad considering most cars with v8s made before 1990 got way worse than that. but the hummer is the best weapon for the rich soccer mom who doesn't need to find the time to use turning signals or looking while changine 4 lanes at 90mph. this idea should have been scrapped from the start. all owners should be imprisoned in a room off exhaust fumes.
In the early 2000s no one wanted a Gwagon, the Hummer was the truck to have if you where rich. Now thats all changed the Gwagon is popular. But it has not really been luxurious till now with the new redesign. I would love a new electric Hummer with a Gwagon interior. Torque for days.
what's with american car manufacturers and their aversion to diesel? the hummer h1 had an mpg rating of FUCKING 16MPG!!! That's the mile wide REAL DEAL! its silly that the H2 can only manage 8 MPG... a diesel would make so much more sense for all the right reasons: superior torque (to pull around that massive 3 ton frame) superior reliability and lower ownership costs, far better MPG... GM fails again
@roz1998 How in anyway are they better? They roll over and on Top Gear's hill climb test the H2 couldn't pull its fat ass up the hill. H2s are crap that fall apart, Land Rovers are luxury sport offroaders.
@maxthehulk LOL H2 lost to Range Rover in a race in the mountains. Check out TopGear. PS: Hummers are soo poorly made they practically fall apart not including ridiculous gasoline consumption. Thus is why Hummer was SHUT DOWN. BURN!
If only this would have been available with the duramax diesel & Allison transmission. It may have soldiered on for another 3-5 years. Still, once you drive one you can't help but respect the way it makes you feel. It truly is, Like Nothing Else.
I have an H2 Luxury/Chrome edition and I Love it. Air suspension. The thing glides down the road. Best purchase ever. Great job Hummer
I wish it goes back into production. I will definitely buy one when my Xterra retires.
it does !! it's on stock
The suv boom in the states has returned
I have a 07 H2. People tell me all the time they love the H2. I know one thing for sure, if they start making them again people will buy them.
Yeah especially with low gas prices
I've never stopped wanting an H2 since it came out. I really want one since they stopped making them, and might get one even though it meets none of my practical needs. Well theyve made the hummer EV now. And after 20 years the hummer h2 still looks better than the new one. Amazing.
I know they brought back hummer but if they brought back “THE H2” that would be awesome + almost everybody loves them now....it probably would become a best selling vehicle !

shame.
coolerdude44 you would think especially with the success that ford had with the Raptor
I think internal combustion engine will stay as long as it can
15 years ago 😂 Until now I keep on watching this☺️

I don't care how much gas prices are these days, as soon as I graduate college and get enough money I'm buying one!
I think they need a supercharged and turbo charged V6 with a passive hybrid system to get the mpg at least 20 city 24 highway
I had mine converted to run on baby seal oil.
thank goodness for the extra club storage space H2!
I absolutely love mine! Safest vehicle on the road.
¿safest? not by a lot
They compare it to those other SUVS but I want to see those go through everything this goes through. 4 feet river cross no problem. Deep snow and mud please.

do you know if hummer would customize 1 so that the steering wheel can be on the right hand side?
I love the H2, I cant wait to get one when I can drive, I want to get a 2003 used H2
Omg idk he did videos back then. I love seeing his face now. I only watch kbb because of him and his quirks
Love the shape of this truck. Real military testorone .!!! However can improve it with a 4litre diesel and reduce its weight using aluminium alloy for outer shell.
If they had made a diesel engine for it it might had survived as it would have sold more in Europe and worldwide
+mengugreg Should have put the 6.5 Duramax in it...

I dont think so, but I'm not sure, because on Top gear i think he said it was only left hand drive like most GM
whats the LC
Ótimo acabamento excelente ângulo de ataque lindooooooooooo

6.0 Vortec is one of the most reliable small block V8's on the road today.
the h2 was made to get some revunue in hummers bank acount.. they made it for the ultimate excess when it comes to suv's...
+B. Robertson I'm 6"2 240 lbs and I own one.
same excat size as you and i own one lol
Most fitting vanity plate I've ever seen: a yellow Hummer w/ a Texas plate that says
"1 MPG"
the skid plates good for undesirable encounters with rocks, logs, and other tought terrain like a prius, trees, hippies, or people for enviormental friendliness.
@sideslide23 Australia has roads and most people use Land Cruisers off road, not alot of hummers here and all of them are in the city.
What's it's mpg
@echavez16 nice man would you take it offroading?
Whats its price ?????
third row is originally for MPVs not SUVs,but people start to put third row in SUV
Is it bullet proof??????
pf alguien podria decirme donde se encuentra respuesta de la humme 2
If you turn on the CC, it will say that the prius is disturbing
@kaox44 they used the rwd
plus top gear makes all american cars look bad
and they sould have taken the same path
can sum1 do this for me - type in 'ford escape review' into the search bar and then choose the 2nd video down nd tell me what the make and model of the silver SUV on the left is at 0.32?? soz no its a bit of an effort bt i really want 2 know wat it it . . .
hummer h2 2009 model,how much?
how did people drive in 1999?
did the door close by its self
Wooowe how much????

General Motors Hummer H2 GM 2008 2009
There are better off-road vehicles than the Hummer H2, but pretty much no vehicle can beat the H1
The H2 and H3 are great, well in the Middle East at least.
if you paid them enough, but they wouldent anymore. considering GM killed them. i dont know of the people whom bought them
This review is way biased, the guy obviously doesn't like it. Removal of the third row seats couldn't easier IMO. This truck just like all other are not about the MPG! The thing is loaded and effective. Please disregard the biased opinions and go drive one.
there is a video for the hummer h2 defeating range rover and land rover and so many suvs in off roading
Its called Mercedes-Benz...Not "Mercedies bens", but other than that your right!
why;s Hummer more expensive than trucks n mini bus although its smaller ?
HUMMER'S ROCK
Why?, your the 1 who implied that GM only supply to you yanks as if no one else is worthy of owning such a beautiful car
@frohman3 hmm i thought diesels have a bad image in the US, wow the economy must've hit the US pretty hard ha..
@sideslide23 PEOPLE WHO GET LOW MILEAGE ON THER HUMMERS DRIVE TO HARD MY MOM HAS A WHITE H2 AND ITS IN THE HIGH TEENS IF YOU ARENT HARD ON IT THEN YOU GET BETTER RESULTS AND THEY DONT MAKE THEM ANY MORE IS WHAT YOU MEAN YOU CAN STILL BUY THEM
8 years later
When you see one just be thankful the US Army Humvees aren't rolling down your streets.
ENGINE TRANSPLANT :)
i prefer the LC!!!
hummer h2 can eat toyota land cruiser and range rover
@erick9music look it up
If people think the hummer is a gas waster,it's a big money waster,If you want a true full size suv choose the land cruiser it has ulev!!!
@TheSundayScoop
Gas was cheeeaaappp.
Like it I love it lol
does its value go down cuz of its crappy worthless gas cunsumption
big car but small spacing interior
hummer rocks
any large car burns gas
these get like at least 10mpg witch is not bad considering most cars with v8s made before 1990 got way worse than that.
but the hummer is the best weapon for the rich soccer mom who doesn't need to find the time to use turning signals or looking while changine 4 lanes at 90mph.
this idea should have been scrapped from the start.
all owners should be imprisoned in a room off exhaust fumes.
@Sherwin930 They are so heavy they can't pull themselves up hills.
why's hummer expensive ? even trucks n mini buses are cheaper although they're bigger
The H2 "OFF ROAD" ability did poorly on TOP GEAR.
Luxurious and powerful, but gas-guzzling and expensive
Хороший обзор. Месим грязь на хомяке. В стоке это совсем не внедорожник. Съемка с квадрокоптера.

I'd rather have the Mercedes-Benz G-Class It was originally a german war car. It is as rugged as a Hummer with the luxury and the look.
In the early 2000s no one wanted a Gwagon, the Hummer was the truck to have if you where rich. Now thats all changed the Gwagon is popular. But it has not really been luxurious till now with the new redesign. I would love a new electric Hummer with a Gwagon interior. Torque for days.

jeep= H2 recovery vehicle
i am HUMMER lover but i dont have it
I LOVE HUMMER H2 SUT than H2
I LOVE HUMMER H3T than h3x,h3
I LOVE HUMMER H1ALPHA
driving like its 1999???
hummer h2 is better than renge rover in off roading and it is bigger stronger and has better look than ugly range rover
Yup its safe but if you don't drive carefully, you would probably kill other road users easily.
@roz1998 How in anyway are they better? They roll over and on Top Gear's hill climb test the H2 couldn't pull its fat ass up the hill. H2s are crap that fall apart, Land Rovers are luxury sport offroaders.
I don't care if the H2 is a gas hog or bad 4x4 or aero
My Hummer H2 gets 29 miles per gallon
JUST KIDDING
Hummer ya
Nahhh i dont think americans like diesels, its noisy and have bad exhaust smell, besides there will be decreased of horsepower too
land cruiser!
H1>H2>H3
@maxthehulk LOL H2 lost to Range Rover in a race in the mountains. Check out TopGear. PS: Hummers are soo poorly made they practically fall apart not including ridiculous gasoline consumption. Thus is why Hummer was SHUT DOWN. BURN!
I would rather buy an Range Rover Sport or LR4 or lr3
range rovers are garbage;used ones are dirt cheap
I ment h2 sorry
This is more for bling than offroad.
Actually, you're wrong. It's a civilian version Humvee. It's the equivalent of the AR-15 to the M-4
+Mr. Reheat
HMWWV*
I'm not about what is I'm talking abouth the car
I still love this car despite it being unarguably the douchiest vehicle ever made
