Hey everybody! This week's episode was long enough that we actually had to split it into two separate parts. But don't worry, you won't need to wait long; Thrawn #1, Part 2 will be releasing tomorrow morning at the same time, 10:30 central time. I hope you enjoy the amazing work that our actors put into these videos!
I don't know why I'm still surprised by how incredible your videos are. I'm consistantly blown away. The Thrawn novel is one of my favorite star wars books and watching your video is as satisfying as seeing it as a movie.
Thrawn terrorizing units of Troopers and Stormtroopers on his own with minimum equipment is one of the best introductions to a character ever. Sets up his tactical genius very efficiently. Edit: I also love Eli's drawl. A cool way to show that he's from Wild Space
I Hope that How he Met Morgan Elsbeth and Moff Gideon and even Maul during the events of Bad Batch. And so Thrawn begun to obessed to kill Ezra that he was Born in the First day of Empire. Maybe this comic Is set After he Met Maul and After he gets attacked by Loth-Cats tamed by baby Ezra. After he reunite with the Empire, he Met Morgan Elsbeth and Moff Gideon that they talks about the Mandalorians, that Maul talks at him about It. Thrawn will learn too that Maul tried to kill Anakin on Mandalore to not becomed the Apprentice of Palpatine. Thrawn talks at Maul that Anakin had sex with Padme and Maul believe It. "Remember, that baby(Ezra) will be become my Apprentice and SOMEDAY when he Is grown up, we must bring him the Truth about Anakin. Is that because i made him a patch" said Maul at Thrawn. "Even he was Born on empire Day, Maybe i will kill him because he Is the key to destroy empire" said Thrawn and Maul smiles cold. Moff Gideon also will tell at Thrawn that Ezra Is Mando's cousin. I Hope too that Barriss Offee react Thrawn
Found my way here thanks to Lore Master! So happy that the Force brought me here! I rarely find time to read, so having this channel available is just awesome :D
I honestly do like Canon Thrawn. Not exactly happy with what they did with him at the end with the Space Whales or something (can't remember tbh) Just that the original Timothy Zahn books were my 1st experience with the character is all
What a great comic! You’ve definitely made me a fan. I hope 🤞 that we can see more of this series. I would love to see more Vanto and Thrawn. These voices are incredible ❤️
i am a bit saddened that they wrote out captain parck, though i understand why, Vanto makes for a more suitable right hand man to thrawn than a full fledged captain would have. especially early in his career.
I feel bad, you guys have so many smaller stories like this to make videos of. (Dark Visions, Target Vader, Solo:Imperial Cadet, Age of Republic, Age of Rebellion, Age of Resistance, Dark Lord of the Sith.) All while making the main comic series as well.
I miss the Thrawn audiobook with music that didn't even match the flow of the book. That one was really easy to fall asleep to even though the music didn't match the drama. I'd be happy with the one without music right now😔
i saw the part when they called 2 squads of stormtoopers, they had phase 2 clone trooper armor on, are they clones? or was it a art choice because i believe thrawn takes place in 16 BBY
The music, a variation of Palpatine´s suite, is absolutely perfect and I love it. Is there a name to this version? Hell I´d buy it to be able to listen to it completely.

I wonder does Thrawn mean *Sith Threat about Exegol* in the Unknown Regions , including *Yuuzhan Vong* and any other unknown threats??? Thanks to *The Rise of Skywalker:* Revan is canon , we saw Exegol with millions of Sith Cultists with Sith Eternal Fleet
Thrawn:(Yelling at Darth Vader) ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Darth Vader: Yes Thrawn: ARGH! IF I EVER CATCH HERA SYNDULLA AND SABINE WREN AND EVEN LEIA ORGANA, AMILYN HOLDO AND MON MOTHMA THAT DAGNABBIT WOMEN IN MY IMPERIAL ACADEMY AGAIN I'LL HANG THEM (Darth Vader shoots Thrawn in his chest)
If there's clones it can't be after 17BBY BUT seeing SW chronology they f***ng say that Thrawn was found in 14BBY but it' just impossible because there are no longer clones in the impérial army at that time
Can I ask...what language did you use for the Sy Bisti? Did you make it up? Or did you use Zahn's trick of using Zulu and moving the vowels two spaces over (swapping a for i, e for o, i for u, o for a, and u for e)? It's really pretty, so I was wondering where I can find it.
I'm sorry but you just can't beat the original voice actor for Thrawn from rebels. No offense to his actor here. That said I wasn't sure when I first heard his voice but by the end it did seem to fit him. The voice here exudes power with a cunning, thoughtful undertone, where in rebels I'd say it's the opposite of this. Nevertheless your work is as awesome as always.
@@DTylerFultzVA That's cool, I appreciate the reply. Don't get me wrong you do a good job no doubt. I just wasn't sure at first but by the end you sold me on that being Thrawn's voice. He's easily one of my most favorite fictional characters of all time and I do think you do him justice. Can't wait for the next chapter.
@@billygrantham5380 Glad you enjoyed it when all things were considered. And in my defense, the directors did ask that Thrawn start out with a slightly-broken dialect. I figured he'd get classier the longer he stayed with the Empire and got acquainted with Galactic Basic. Perhaps that's why it sounded a little off?
@@DTylerFultzVA Possibly. I will say now that I've seen the second part it's sounds pretty close and fits extremely well. Hope I didn't discourage you, that certainly wasn't my intent. I'll be looking forward to see the rest of your work. Keep up the great work man!
I don’t know if I’m OK with Thrawn’s “origin story” presented here. There’s plenty of real military officers to draw from, so to cheapen him by being “an unknown deadly warrior banished from his homeworld...it’s the biggest trope, like they picked a mixed bag of origin stories from a board game. Then he got an audience with the Emperor? That was dumb. Why would Palestine give a fuck? This is an interesting story only because of Thrawn. Otherwise, it’s mediocre writing. I always imagined him as rising through the ranks as any admiral would, becoming a brilliant, talented tactician.
Like they said in the comic itself, Anakin worked beside him in the Clone Wars when he went beyond republic supply lines and lacked back up. He ended up thinking very highly of Thrawn's tactical abilities when all was said and done and talked to Palpatine about him. He also added a physical description, his name and that of his species. As the Chiss rarely interact with people in Imperial space, once the Captain informed him of their guest and those key details, Palpatine put 2 and 2 together and realize that was probably the resourceful warrior Anakin grew to respect. Hence the audience.
Some of what you complain about is addressed in the first book of which this comic is based on. As you can see, Thrawn started at lieutenant. They don't give away Grand Admiral shoulder boards like peanut butter crackers. Perhaps the book will be better for you. It has more details.
@@jasonq7504 there are two Thrawn trilogies. The original one in the 90s and the one that's just a couple of years old. The second trilogy integrates with the Disney canon. This comic is based on the first book in the second trilogy. There are sections in the book omitted by the comic. The comic only shows him gaining rank but it doesn't tell you why. The book does. The second book in the trilogy expands on the meeting of Anakin and Thrawn in the past and its effects on Thrawn and Darth Vader when they meet. It also contains a problem: a character dies in this book but in someone else's book they live and become a rebel against the empire. The third book wraps things up to integrate with the Rebels TV series.

WAITING THIS FOR A LONG TIME!
Seriously another Thawn video tomorrow, your a bloody champ mate
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYessss!!
You’re a bastard for making me wait. 😡
Can't wait!
Thanks again for having me onboard as the voice of Thrawn. It was this project and Rebels that really got me into him as a character.
DTylerFultzVA similar in style to the soft spoken voice used in Star Wars: Rebels.
How did you get the gig?
Nailed it good sir they way all of these were done was perfect
Just stumbled upon this and wish I knew about it sooner. Excellent work!
You did a great job!
Thrawn's voice actor sounds exactly like Thrawn from Rebels
I was impressed with Thrawn's Voice Actor cuz his voice is hard to do.
Wow, even before joining the empire, Thrawn was a total savage.
The voice acting and the music ....just wonderful

I freaking love this comic series!
Fultz's Thrawn is as perfect as Cortez's Dooku.
This channel deserves way more subs and views
This is so awesome guys! Thrawn is one of my favorite characters. Fantastic job guys. Keep it up!
Oh hell yeah new upload and its a Thawn one, i was hoping you would make a series for him. Thank you very much mate you rock :)
Eli voice is really good. That slight country accent makes him really endearing.
Thanks man, I have been looking forward for this audio comic.
Ah, Thrawn. I grew to love you so in your Legends Trilogy which will always be to me the true sequel to 4-6

Ok I am extremely impressed with the voices used here. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of this series. Well done.
Great actor for Thrawn. Sounds very similar to Lars Mikkelsen
Thank you! I draw a bit more from him later in the series.

You’ve earned yourself another subscriber I hope you do the entire series.
Yeah I love it please make the hole story and I love thrawn's voice
You flatter me. Thrawn quickly grew on me the more I voiced him.
I’m so glad I found your channel
Incredible!
Wonderful Work. I Love the think Tank of Thrawn and His Expertise.
Saw a reaction video to this, and i had to check it out. This is such an awesome idea - like old radio dramas! I'm def going to subscribe.
The voices are spot on. Like, if you found yourself an animator to make some of the comic move around itd be legjt as hell
I read the Stars Thrown series! Love it too! Looking forward to this version of Thrown
But as much I enjoy comics books. Paperback are just as awesome!
One day I'm going to shower this channel in money.
I always thought of Eli sounding like Scott Menville, but this works well.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these audio comics. Very well done.
The views and likes on these should skyrocket in the next few months! 👀
Never forgot how awesome this channel is mayhnnn
Wonderfully done guys, hope you continue on with the rest of the series as well :D

Yuzhung Vong are not canon. He is referring to an alien race similar to the Vong that only exist in canon. This was explained in the 2nd Thrawn story.
Mythrawn Aroidue
Love this shit!
Have you considered doing Legends materials? Would love to see your take on some of the old Sith stories.

Where did you learn Sy Bisti ? I want to learn it to
Am I correct in assuming the sound effects for Vanto's log was from the Star Wars app?
I could be mistaken, but I believe we got the sound from one of the Battlefront games.
😊
Can I ask...what language did you use for the Sy Bisti? Did you make it up? Or did you use Zahn's trick of using Zulu and moving the vowels two spaces over (swapping a for i, e for o, i for u, o for a, and u for e)? It's really pretty, so I was wondering where I can find it.
Yes, the script writer for the project Rob did use Zahn’s method for the Sy Bisti dialogue. Glad you liked it!
@@StarWarsAudioComics that is awesome to know! Thank you for the reply. 💙
what song is playing the background at 9:15?
That would be Lucas King's cover of the Emperor's Theme from Return of the Jedi: ua-cam.com/video/TU6VG1h3w3M/v-deo.html
What is the language used for sy bisti?
So I know it says fan adaptation but does this follow the canon?
Yes, this comic was officially published by Lucasfilm. The fanmade element is the audio.
Now this is how you lead a fleet . This is my kind of respectable. Better than that cringe rebel shit
Just an opinion but I like these comics better than the EU/Legends
