I used to have a few of these on paperback and two on disappointingly abridged cassettes. This is excellent and does not break your story by referring to details that were previously redacted. (By some drone, not an author.) ❤
Still one of my favorite characters, but you're completely correct. I also found it a huge dick move that he learns about Gand cultural norms surrounding names, then says absolutely nothing as Wedge keeps unintentionally dissing his wingman.

Luke conquered his own fear and became Grand Master of a New Jedi Order in Timothy Zahn's series. Yoda said he could not teach Luke. But he did. Why Dit$ney made him fail after one mistake and forever hide on Coward Island I'll never understand. Leia became Head of State of a New Republic and Han organized smugglers into semi-official free traders instead of criminals. Not decades of Rebellion Interruptus with the Barely Admirable Holdover Maneuver.
