This is my second time through the entire class. The first time I was asking the same questions the students were asking, the second time I was answering them. Krug, YOU ARE THE MAN. Thank you for supporting your UA-cam students. Some funny key points repeated in these videos are: 1) Every Class is a VERY important class 2) Every ratio is the most important ratio. 3) Lastly, as a future business owner, if you remember nothing from this class, remember everything.
You're the man, David! thanks a lot! I’ve bought the book you used in class, watched all the 39 videos, did all the home works, exercises and quick studies you assigned. I really felt as if I was part of your class! I'll soon start watching the accounting 2 videos. Cheers from Budapest, Hungary!

We made it everyone! Just want to say thank you to Mr. Krug you are a FANTASTIC professor and I can't thank you enough. I will email you very soon! God bless
I have done all the 39 lectures along with my accounting class because my class in HCC is really really bad...I feel so greatful to Krug. Because of you, I have learned new knowledge and gained new skills. Thank you for you hard working! Since JCCC has released ACCT2 on UA-cam, I will definitely watch it .Thank you Krug!
After watching all the lectures, I want to thank Mr. Krug for teaching me accounting. I very much liked his example-driven teaching, as many books are just too dry. His examples and personal stories are the best ways to understand and remember a concept, and will stay with me for a long time. I do want to share my personal feedback on his teaching style, because I think some things he could still improve. - Don't ask "right?", "you with me?", "is that correct?" or even "ok?" after every step in your explanation. It inhibits the thinking process of the student. Students may only understand something a few steps in, because they don't yet know where you're going with the argument. Asking this question after every step breaks that thinking process because it distracts. Replace these question with silence. Just say nothing. The short silence allows a student to finish the thought that they have in their mind. Not talking is sometimes better than talking. Explain all steps and ask only at the end if anyone has questions, like Mr. Krug already does (although see next point). - If you ask for questions, give time to answer. In the countless times that Mr. Krug asked "does anyone have questions?", "any questions?", he never received a question. In all lectures, not a single time! Why? Because he never waited for a question. Maybe he didn't really expect to get a question. - Don't reprimand students for something they may do wrong in the future. Of course, mention the pitholes. But mention them neutrally. Mr. Krug seems so often almost angry when he says something like "Don't do this: XYZ. I see many students do this. Don't do this!". This negative attitude doesn't encourage students to learn. Just the opposite, it frightens them. This is not a good condition to learn. Also the current student have done nothing wrong yet. Just because your previous students did a mistake, doesn't mean these students will. Of course, we all know that some of them will, but is it worth it to frighten everyone, including the good students? You may not lose something by making bad students more bad, but you lose something by decouraging students that would otherwise be good. Don't let your annoyance from previous students affect your attitude towards current students. - Don't talk about the test all the time. It always seems like a threatening. "Make sure XYZ, because this will come on the test!" or "If you do this, I'll deduct a point on the test." and so on. Tests are nothing that students generally look forward to. They know it's a necessity. But you shouldn't mention it all the time because you scare your students. Also sometimes it really inhibits the flow of the lecture. Summarizing, a teacher should have a positive attitude towards all students. This will help them learn better. If you instead have a negative attitude, you lose students. Judging from the rest of the comments, one might think my expectations are too high, because other accounting classes seem to be much worse. But I believe that Mr. Krug is a good teacher, that could become even better if he took the above to heart. Only because you're already the best, doesn't mean you can't still improve!
Just a Curious Question, were all these videos uploaded the day of or immediately after it was recorded? Because I noticed they are all uploaded with 3-4 days of the previous one. Anybody know?
Thanks Mr. Krug! You can put a thumbtack on Missoula, Montana. I've watched these lectures as a supplement to my college class and it's been a great help. When I need a break from hitting the books I watch a lecture and it really helps me break up my study nights. Thanks again.
