THE GOOD SHIP KANGAROO

"On Board the Kangaroo" also known as "The Good Ship Kangaroo" is generally regarded as an English sea shanty. It was written by Londoner Harry Clifton in about 1864, so tis an old one. The song is sung from the perspective of a mariner who worked on a ship called the Kangaroo, he left his faithful girl behind, turns out she was not that faithful. This song was covered by "Planxty" and it`s their version I am doing here.
