what a heartwarming iftar... for muslims to enjoy the Ramadan of course must based on the intention,,, the intention that can make the person steadfast for 30 days. Also there are a lot of blessing from Allah during this month that everyone want to grab it ( yang ini memang perlu belajar :) )
    Anyway hope you enjoy berpuasa.

thanks huzil for letting them discover our seafood foods! nobu, i wanna share something about ramadhan as a knowledge for all of us. i hope you like it and get a clearer view of ramadhan with my explanation 🙈
    basically, purpose of ramadhan are
1- to teach us to be grateful bcs we have a food to eat, a water to drink while there’s some people out there, they don’t even have any food and drink to eat. so we have to always be grateful and thankful ✨
2- teach us to do a good deeds like do some charity or ‘sedekah’ (give a food or money or any good things to anyone even if we dont know them)
& we’re not allowed to curse, or say a bad things (actually muslims aren’t allowed say bad things in our life but specifically in ramadhan, we have to strain ourselves from do or say a bad things bcs we have to secure our reward by our God. bcs in ramadhan there’s a double reward from our God if we do a good deeds.)
so if we do a bad things then our reward would be waste, like there’s a minus reward (sin) if do a bad things and a plus reward (double rewards) if we do a good things.
3- it’s our obligation from our God (Allah) to us, and only in ramadhan there’s a double rewards if do a good things (as i said earlier)
there’s some purpose i dont mention but these 3 are the most common purpose that people wanna know. when my friends ask me what benefits i get from ‘puasa’ in ramadhan? i’d answer these 3.
just a knowledge to all of us, either we’re muslims or not, we can share our knowledge. same goes to non muslims, you can share your culture or your religious knowledge, so we could gain a knowledge about their celebration ‘perayaan’ because we have diversity races in malaysia ✨
p/s: if this explanation seems bad or seem like offensive, lemme know. i’ll delete this, thank youu :)

I get it why shun think people don't like Ramadhan. When i was a child i always think that ramadhan is so exhausting even as a muslim myself. I find it weird how people liked it, its being hungry and thirsty all day plus your whole busy life schedule thats tiring. But then when i grew up i feel differently about ramadhan. The hungry thirsty part, you just get through it, its not a problem anymore. Throughout the year I found myself waiting for ramadhan. The routine is different than the other months, its refreshing, the feelings is different, its more calming and peaceful especially at night during the special prayer and it teach you a lot of patience and self control throughout the day. People just find reasons to gather and do iftar together, to go back hometown and meet their parents after work. Its a season of kindness where good deeds are more rewarded in this holy month and you just feel love for humanity everywhere. People are being extra kind and generous. You tend to cook more and exchange dishes with your neighbours and give to people in need. You gather with your high school friends and catch up. I mean you can always do it on other months but somehow it feel more celebrated in this month. Its, fun.

Yahhh.. I learned Japanese formally, but I can't seem to exceed kindergarten level, unless in emergency then magically I'll be fluent tho with limited vocab.
I think the key is to throw yourself in fight or flight situation with japanese speaker constantly.
Binging anime don't do much as anime speak with extra and weird expression that Japanese naturally don't. Let alone understanding keigo and kanji (which can be hell).

Ramadan is a blessed month and this is a month for Muslims to make a spiritual reflection, do a self-improvement of ourselves and to seek forgiveness of our past sins.
It requires strength, faith, and discipline to fast during ramadan and the other reason is to teach us to be more aware and compassionate by helping people who are less unfortunate than us because there are people out there who can’t even eat in a day or starving themselves because they’re poor..
Those who are ill, pregnant, breastfeeding or menstruating are exempted from fasting but they have to make up for the days they missed later. It will take a long paragraph to explain this but hope it helps you to understand ^^

    Why Ramadhan is special?
For me, I love Ramadhan because this is the month when the door of paradise is being opened & door of hell close.
I do feel calm in this month, feels a lil bit different from other month. It's my personal feeling, feel that way.
Most importantly, prayer is being listened especially around 10 mins before breaking fasting & during Sahur. Some of previous prayer become true, great praise to Allah almighty.
