damn what happened to barts squat depth!? it was always questionable but in the last year after working with who ever his coach was he was SINKING that depth no question. now it looks back to barely hitting it if at all :(
Bro, it's probably because he was sick and needs a few days to get back up to normal. Life happens and there are factors outside of just deciding to hit depth.
On your depth on 430 lbs was not your best. The power transferred to knees and toes. The second set is a carry over of the first. Box squatting should help if you can find the in your life. Way to go Bart!
I would personally count that squat. He went to about parallel. There’s studies that show just a 90 degree squat is optimal for leg gains and ATG squats can put lots of pressure on your joints. ATG also probably isn’t the best if you lack ankle flexibility, for me I go around 90 degrees or a little lower than that and my legs are sore afterwards.
@@arsh6737 Good for you. It's great if your doing a leg workout but as a retired powerlifter, I know what Bart is going through and to the discerning eye, his form is different from the past. More hips, heels, and back is needed to power up. The judges would have given 2 white lights and one red.
