    Which middleweight would you choose? Would it be the Tuono? Or something else?

      I'm not a huge fan of parallel twins so it's gotta be the Ducati Streetfighter 848 or even an Aprillia Shiver 750/900. Italy do it well don't they!

    190 miles on a tank every time. Riding fast in the twisties in Eifel Germany. Take your time while fuelling it and the last liter really slow until completely full. When done carelessly and too hastily there is only 14 liters in it. I do 1 liter on every 20km easy. 300km tank range is perfect for me. Mind you I have the standard tuono 660. Not the factory. Gearing is different I guess?

      @@ILikeMotorbikes the other 2 have had plenty of modifications..the 660 is untouched not even a tail tidy! I think that says it all.. it's perfect, and my mates aren't fed up of me saying I need fuel every hour! So everyone is happy 👍😂

    I have the same issue getting mine into neutral! You need to put it there before coming to a complete stop, or it just won't have it. Adds to the character 😀

    • @ILikeMotorbikes
      @ILikeMotorbikes  Рік тому +1

      That is the exact technique I used on this and my older Aprilia RSVR! Works a charm then... character indeed 🤣

      I have the feeling, that it gets better with some more km/miles and some more shifting... when I picked my new bike up, it was nearly impossible to find neutral 😂, but now it's getting better 👍🏻. However, this Tuono 660 Factory is such a nice and well balanced bike ❤

    Would you recommend this as a good first bike coming out of a DAS. The price for a brand new one atm (as low as 8k) makes it hard to beat.

    • @ILikeMotorbikes
      @ILikeMotorbikes  9 місяців тому +2

      It's fairly comfortable and upright so for a newbie should be a doddle to ride. Has different modes meaning you could leave it in the most tame setting whilst you learn it and get seat time and experience. For 8k it's a bloody bargain!

    again this bike competes with mt07, kawisaki z650, trident 660, cb650r, sv650 and 701 hvitpilen.

    • @ILikeMotorbikes

      In my opinion it's far better than almost all of those though I haven't ridden a couple of them

    Hey, could a beginner handle this bike? I'm really considering on getting it over the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 for my first bike but it's like 60/40 to Vitpilen 401... The more I watch videos of it the more i want it haha what are your thoughts??

    • @ILikeMotorbikes
      @ILikeMotorbikes  11 місяців тому +2

      That's really subjective. It's fairly user friendly in the control positions, riding position etc but it's still a 100hp bike and it's easy to make mistakes as a newbie (we've all been there)
      It has configurable riding modes and ABS/traction control so you'd be able to "calm it down" slightly in the electronics to a degree but that won't save you for everything. I'd say get the bike, but also invest in your self in additional training once you gain your licence t give you the best opportunity of staying safe and enjoying an awesome bike

    Fuel range scuppers this bike as a viable option should have 17lts as standard.

    • @ILikeMotorbikes
      @ILikeMotorbikes  Рік тому +3

      I think they get a lot of bad press but generally the reliability doesn't seem to be as big an issue as it used to be. Certainly now the 660 platform has been around a few years I would say they have probably ironed out most of the problems
