It's nice to see a songwriter who shares when they haven't been songwriting instead of sharing when they're pumping out songs.
I feel just like this. I'm in a stage where I don't know any other songwriters and I've been writing by myself. I've been trying to write about broken friendships, and it wasn't working so I was gonna give up songwriting period, but then you made this video! You helped jump start my songwriting again than you so much ❤!
why dont you write a song about writers block
i know this is weird but your video has inspired me to write about the frustration and the stuck in emotions of having my only outlet being art (of many mediums) and then getting stuck because of block

for the past 3 months or so ive had a block as well, and this morning i woke up at 5am and thought about a film like this one. scrolling on yt 4 hours later and refreshed the page to see this, and i take it as a sign that others can relate. it makes me feel comforted in my own work more just to know that. thanks for the video, and the sky looked amazing on that rooftop ::)
everything about this video is absolutely beautiful. This video has really made me look at creative block from a better perpective and made me realize that it's perfectly fine to have those moments where you can't come up with anything. ABSOLUTELY! Creative block is natural and it's part of the process! We can always reframe our perspectives in moments of creative block to figure out our needs and wants. We end up learning about our restraints, our limits, and what we find important. Which is so essential to the longevity of our creativity!

I can relate so much. When I was in high school, song ideas just came to me all the time. But now that I'm a fresh college graduate, even though I have all the time in the world, I just struggle. I think it was the busy-ness of college and also being in a dull degree program that almost killed my creative side.

Currently working on a Progressive House genre track, and writing a melody similar to what others are doing, and then comparing it back, just frustrates me in failing over and over again, despite me still taking some steps to becoming better after just properly starting making music not long ago... i need to find it within myself that i have got this some how

I don't think I've ever related to a video so bad. I'm my own biggest critic and a chronic overthinker, so it really gets in the way of writing both my novel and songs.
Half way through it I just hate what I write and toss it to the side, and I end up never finishing it.
Hopefully, I can overcome it and finally finish all my projects.

I have a number songs that were made, cause i started writing about how I'm frustrated that i can't write anything good. I eventually change those lyrics, but it's weird how common it is in my process 🤣
