You should most def stack your goals. It will make you sound so much fuller and of course I knew this is a demo so whose know who the final product came out but. Not sure if you thought about stacking your vocals. You have a good voice and I think you can pull off some sick hamornies and meodies.

I am not going to lie to nobody when it truly comes to the overall song writing process itself. it varies person to person depending on how they are writing the overall song for themselves. but personally for me when it comes to writing it roughly takes me about 3 to 5 hours or 2 hours depending on the day of the week or other things to think of itself. but besides all of that it all comes down to the person who is writing the song itself.
I can write in less than 5 minutes. Today I managed to write 10 songs and it's not even night yet hahahahaha There's a song I wrote in 2 minutes. It was the song I managed to write in the shortest amount of time and it has a James Arthur vibe
