Whatnot is definitely an interesting idea because I doubt there are many that offer what you could so you could see a lot of traffic and possibly make more. I definitely think doing a live on your channel would be successful and you'd probably sell most If not all of them. I know I'd be interested. If it were me I'd probably do the live.
I don't have a WhatNot account, so I would clearly choose options 2 or 3. Option #2 is difficult because of timing, i.e., how do you know who submitted the first/final bid? Option #3 is difficult because you may not acquire a large audience depending on timing.
You won’t know until you try it. I believe it would work. I know I would do my best to be there. You may need some help doing WhatNot because it seems to go fast. Just keeping it all organized.....who bought what. Payment is up front and you don’t have to wait on someone. OR - just try it on your UA-cam channel at least once to see how it goes during a livestream. I think you would still need an extra hand or two and maybe some more eyes to watch the bids. I went on WhatNot just to see what it was all about, and I just didn’t like it. Deleted my account first day. The reason I did not like it was because it was just too busy and chaotic. This is just my opinion, so please don’t let it discourage you. Obviously get more input from others and not just from an old fogy like me!
I do not participate in What Not, so I cannot say much about it. With that in mind, I would probably offer up team lots or individual cards on my UA-cam channel. This way, the folks who have followed you for a bit would have first crack at it. I'm super curious as to what you have.
Interesting concept! A livestream would be fun, but Whatnot would probably make it easier since it has everything built in.
