Wow, lotta nostalgia here. I started watching mapping with a whole lot of AFOUSAs, since I learned the 50 states before every country, around 2016/2017. I watched WV's AFOUSA quite a bit. I was about 10 years old at the time, and for reference I am now 17, so I am close to 7 years in the mapping community. Some older mapping stuff I remember includes seeing episode 7 of AFOVC new, the first video of Weltreich, basically witnessing the entire arc of Korean's AFOW, watching VoidViper back when he was active, Canadian Mapping, Japanese Mapping, following Bace Bulgarian's AFOAE since before episode 7 released, actually watching Romanian mapping's videos (In my defense, I was young and more naive), HenryEditz, some of the original controversy around Neutronex and GGG502, and seeing basically all of Portuguese Mapping's series before he terminated his channel. Weirdly enough, I know a little bit about the dark waters layer. I remember watching Whoopdeedoo56, although when I was far younger and it was just his AFOUSA that I watched. Then, I actually watched Gylala's videos for a bit before growing tired of them as I became older. And perhaps most controversial, I was actually a close friend of Astral for a while, as we talked quite often. I originally got in contact with him when he was doing Weltreich videos, and I even did a couple of mapping videos for him. However, he seemingly distanced himself from me around early-mid 2022, several months before he was exposed. Those videos I did for him are actually still up, since I don't know what to do with them. I don't want to delete them, but they are videos associated with him.
Hoo boy, that went on for longer than I expected. All to say that I've been a part of the mapping community for a long time. But the thing is, I was largely a lurker of the community before 2020, as 2020 was when I actually made my UA-cam channel and account, when I was 14 years old. Just thought I'd clarify that.
But either way, great job on this iceberg! I feel like there could've been some other people, such as Rat of Mapping, since he was very popular. But otherwise, you got the essential part of the mapping community, along with the bad. Great job!
Don't worry, I'm planning to work on a second iceberg, there are still a lot of things to talk about, including Rat of Mapping (which I've mentioned when I've talked about the Mappercast).
You got all of them right but you should add some Honorable mentions such as
(As far as i know) Garecian Mapping is the 1st Mapper to make a lore like Weltreich from absolutely his High school friends and experience and also Gylala is deaf (I used to watch him a lot during 2020)
I'm going to do a second part, so I can talk about other stuff

I didn't know gylala was a controversial figure. I actually really liked his most popular country in a nutshell videos.
That's because he denied and doesn't talk about the accusations
as a former mapper(was in the community but did not upload mapping videos) and was at war with like 1000 mappers and also even got doxxed by the Italian ball and there friends (this was probably before the Italian ball drama) and also I was involved in a bunch of drama so in the end I ended up quitting the mapping community but still watched mapping stuff

Also, I personally think LGBTQ mapper is FAR worse than Astral. I think this because though Astral chatted with minors, he never got CP. LGBTQ mapper on the other hand, got CP and did other horrible shit that makes Astral look like a normal person. Also I think Astral committed suicide in either June or July first (I can't really remember)
