I already like the reasoning behind the Polish Syndicalist coup, except for the unemployment part. In Socialism, automation means reduction of working hours. But the problem is that the first on the way to automation are artisys and manual labour workers, and yes, among them, there are miners getting replaced with drills. And when the stuff gets automated there, it gets automated everywhere at some point. Which means that the reduction of working hours is not enough when it's limited inside the same industries. And it means, they are to be redirected to other jobs. And yes, you are right here too, because then they have low experience. Add here their age and you'll see that those former miners would have had big problems related to career ladder, in competition with more experienced Proletarians of other jobs. And yeah competition in the career ladder was a thing in the workplaces back in Soviet era here, contrary to myths manufactured by Capitalist propaganda.

I would have the partition of the Ottoman Empire in 1909/1910 in the follow up of the Bosnian crisis and an early Balkans War. Give the Russian Empire Western Armenia as compensation for not getting Constantinople with population exchanges, thus saving the Armenians from genocide. Let Armenia get independence in 1918 and loose it until the fall of the USSR. This would protect it from Turkish revisionism. I would make the exclave of Nagorno Karabagh part of the Armenian SSR and not Azerbaijan, with Nachicevan as an Azeri exclave for balance between the two states. I would not have a war with Georgia. These two Cristian nations need to be allies between Turkic States and Russia to defend each other. I would give Lazistan to Georgia (they are Georgisns after all) in exchange for the small province in Georgia where they are a majority. I would also let Pontic greeks in Trebizond and Assyrians (with Hakkari) be part of a greater Armenia to guarantee the survival of these Christian peoples and also excape their genocides. Right after independence from the USSR they should join NATO and the EU as the Baltic states did, to continue as guarantee of their continued existence. I would also give Greece part of the coast of Anatolia and Eastern Thrace (perhaps divided with Bulgaria) almost up to the outskirts of Istanbul for the Greek ottomans and Lebanon to be exclusively an Arab Christian state to give them a guarantee of survival as a people
