Also..Soundstage 1975..Midnight Special....the medleys are unmatched. "I can't see Nobody" will forever be my favorite..."Run to Me", "Massachusetts", "I started a Joke".."World"... Robin is, and was THE voice of the Bee Gees....both Maurice, and Barry said that, numerous times. "Nights on Broadway"..too many to count.❤️❤️
This medley, in my humble opinion, is the best medley they ever performed live on stage. And "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" at the end? Definitely the best. Robin's adlibs and harmonizing with Barry on one of his lead phrases is just mesmerizing. I only wish they would release the video for this concert someday. We know it was taped for a TV special but didn't pass muster at the time and it was scraped. Please, Barry, release this fabulous concert for us to enjoy. All three of our guys with beards? So, so sexy!
"l walk the lonely streets"....gosh.."I can't see nobody".. impossible to not understand his pain...he wants you to get it...understand... adore this song..lyrically is magic... their harmonies proof of their God given talent .
Yes, James, I totally agree with you that the 1973 "Midnight Special" performance was indeed his best followed very closely by his 1974 Melbourne performance.
James, I was just referring to Robin's "I Can't See Nobody" performances. Love both his '73 and '74 performances of this amazing song. But, speaking of their '76 "Here At Last- Live" concert, I was just having a great conversation with someone earlier today and we both decided that Barry should release the video for this great concert now for everyone to enjoy. It was filmed for a TV special that never happened because they didn't approve of the film's quality at the time. Frankly, I could care less about that. I just want to "SEE" this wonderful concert, not just "HEAR" It. And the medley is about 16 minutes long and includes a shortened version of "I Can't See Nobody", one of the best medleys ever. It ended with "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart", which, to me, is the best version they ever did of this song. Robin added his great adlibs all through it and actually added harmony to one of Barry's lead lines. And Robin sporting that beard of his is just amazing, too!
@@lauriebarnes2999 Also with that 76 concert, there’s a live edition of Edge of the Universe ( which is my favorite ) it’s more lively than the one they performed on the Chicago Sound Stage
Bee Gees' one of the greatest live concert parts, one of the medleys , Bee Gees live at The Forum, Los Angeles, US 1976 . Barry Gibb and Bee Gees with The 4 Gibb Brothers are the greatest geniuses musicians for all the any times in the human history !!!!! What a the miracle ! Always favorite !!! ... Thank you so much !!!!! ❤🌎👍
I'd have liked some of these to have been sung in their entirety. It occurs to me though that this concert is pre-Saturday Night Fever and Spirits Having Flown and all the subsequent platinum albums they recorded and they still didn't have enough time to sing all their hits start to finish. Absolutely ridiculous how they overflowed with talent. Such stage presence all three of them had as well. Sadly I never got to see them but those who did say a Bee Gees concert was an unbelievable experience. "Consummate professionals" is a phrase that turns up regularly. I attended quite a few concerts in the '70s and many of the acts put in the absolute minimum of effort to their performances. I saw Stephen Stills once and he chain smoked the entirety of his 45 minute set. The Bee Gees had enough respect for their audience to never give anything but their best. Their best was pretty freaking awesome.
Este popurri es considerado como el mejor en la historia musical de los Bee Gees, desgraciadamente no hay video porque ellos consideraron que el video era de mala calidad, pero vale la pena escuchar el popurri de principio a fin ❤❤❤❤❤
Simply LOVE ❤️ the BeeGees. Best group ever. Their harmonies are so good. Love Robin’s voice. Wish he could have song more solos. Thank you for bringing this wonderful group to me so I can listen everyday.
💚Beautiful Songs I've loved them since the 60's on up and I had the honor of seeing them in Atlanta Ga in 1975 in Concert I loved every minute of it wish we could go back in time to reflect on memories💚☝️
What a shame that “I Can’t See Nobody” and “I Started a Joke”-two of Robin’s best leads-were relegated to the medley. They deserved to be heard in full, as did “Massachusetts “ for that matter. I suppose there were intractable problems with them though, namely they were not Barry leads.

I saw them in concert when I was still a teen❣️I will be 60 soon, and That memory will stay with me Forever 🌹
Saw it as well at the Grand Old Opry house in Nashville.
You are are so lucky!

The best medley in the history of pop - rock music
It is a pleasure listen to it
Marvelous
Absolutely ! The best band ever!
Magic ,marvelous their harmony are magnificent. I miss their groups especially Robin.
Nobody will beat the bee gees with their singing
Maravillosos los mejores
Robin Gibb is a heck of singer
Look at their faces in the picture. They’re just loving performing and delivering a fantastic song to the audience.
Isn’t it beautiful .. they truly lived to sing.. no thought of $$.. the voices of today only smoke & mirrors no voices in my humble opinion..

I love this Bee Gees album all the brother have beards
Didn’t like Robin with a beard but he failed to consult me. Great album though.
LOVE the chord transition from "I can't see nobody" to "I started a joke" (7:50) ... beautiful!
EXTRAORDINARIA AGRUPACION, LASTIMA EL TIEMPO PASA MUY RAPIDO. LOS TENGO EN MI ALMA Y TODA SU MUSICA

What a pleasure to hear them Best group ever...And Barry, the Legend, the best singer and songwriter ever. Love them..❤️ June 2022
He wrote almost everything with his two brothers. I don’t think he was even the best singer in The Bee Gees but obviously that’s a matter of taste.
Lindo ouvir Maurice na harmonia alta ao final da música Massachussets.
Não tem outro grupo com essa harmonia, e nunca terá. Eles são sensacionais.
favorite moments
SO TIVE O PRAZER DE VE LOS JUNTOS EM 1998 EM BUENOS AYRES E DEPOIS ROBIN AQUI NO BRASIL...
Eu sei bem desta história, Sir JF.
