- After looking at TheSourceforDVDVHS's version on telling us about Disney Sing Along Songs episodes accompanying the promo, I've decided to do the same thing he did. Hope you enjoy it!

I love how you're so smart at the facts about the Disney Sing Along Songs videos! I too know A LOT about the series!
6:47 Correction: Great Mouse Detective actually did quite well at the box office and indeed, it’s timely success has been credited for saving the studio from going bankrupt after Black Cauldron had flopped at the box office and if it did lose money, then Disney Studios would be no more.
Great Job! I hope Disney has the brains to release Song of the South sometime soon because, I've been wanting Disney to release the film on DVD or Blu Ray so that way the kids now a days can what Disney was back then.
Here's another good nickname for this video. Chronology Confused about Disney Sing-Along-Song videos.
It really sucks how Song of the South never got a home video release!
I agree! "Song of the South" marks a really important moment in cinematic history when it was the first Disney movie to contain live-action segments, despite all the criticism against blacks in the Civil War. I'd even like to watch that movie myself one day on DVD!

Actually, Mr. Baskett wore makeup that made himself look older. I've seen a few pictures of him without the makeup, and in real life had a headfull of hair, and no beard.
Third wave?
Film017forever i think you forgot to mention on the dvd copy of Disneyland Fun the logo to celebrate Disneyland's 50th anniversary.
I saw the 1994 reprint of Friend Like Me on TheFlicker98's channel, but unfortunately he gave it away to someone. Sure it had the same setlist of songs on the video, but did the video open with the 1994 SAS intro or the 1993 intro?
It had the same opening as the 1993 VHS tape did.
I found out on wikipedia that James Baskett couldn't go to the premiere for song of the south cos it was in atlanta which was segregated at the time. still, I don't see anything offensive bout that movie.
Very shameful for Baskett!
A VHS is not a toy.
You forgot to mention that even though "Disneyland Fun" was labled vol. 7, it was actually vol. 8.
Or maybe it could be either one in the release order. I thought "Disneyland Fun" was released on the same day as "Under the Sea".

I think I should do my Disney Sing-Along Songs VHS Collection for my next video, but I will only show 3 VHS Tapes because even though I have the cardboard VHS case of Friend Like Me, I don't have the actual tape. Therefore, that case will not count.
i seen them tapes in school when i was a kid and i just was amazed and feel in love with them right off the bat sure wish i had them now
