    A buyer comment on Amazon says the white is too cool-couldn't the user make warm white, or does the control app not allow that?

      You can adjust the tuning of the white, including a more warm white, should you so desire.

    25,000 hours is only about 3 years. Somehow that doesn't seem that long.

      Well, that'd be 3 years straight running 24/7.
      But you're probably not going to run these when the sun is up. And you're probably not going to run them when you're asleep.
      It's more likely you'd use them a few hours each day at most, right? So give or take 20 years.
      Now that's assuming all goes well... weather, maybe you do use it more... power surges... etc. etc. all is a factor.
      Which is why I'd love it if you could repair these as needed.
