Favourite live performance has got to be White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975, the musical interlude in it gives me chills every time. I am listening to Seaside Rendezvous a lot atm, it's a studio track though, and the furthest thing from an anthem you can get. If you ever wondered what happens when Freddie and Roger decide to muck about, having fun in the studio, Seaside Rendezvous is the answer. Freddie and Roger imitate several different instruments vocally, it's fascinating to listen to and so upbeat that it's guaranteed to make you smile.

I love seeing your facial expressions during Freddie’s performance. I’ve been a huge fan since I first heard Killer Queen on the radio in 1974, I believe. This 1986 Wembley concert was fabulous. It was the last live performances Freddie did before he died. He was such a performer and the gigs took a lot out of him. He didn’t feel as though he could do it anymore after the Magic Tour. Have you reacted to White Queen live at Hammersmith Oden 1975?? It’s an early live one, but so so good. Also, live at Wembley 1986 Now I’m Here is great. Fantastic drums and guitar.

Just a couple points. The Seven Seas of Rhye is a land that Freddie invented when he was a child. I have been going to rock concerts since the early 70's Loads of stadium concerts. The bands usually come out and blow you away the first three songs and then we would settle in lay on our blankets and enjoy for awhile until the band would start getting to the big songs and the end of the concert. No one, I mean no-one EVER sits down at a Queen concert. Freddie and the guys expected you to work as hard as they did. Even today no-one takes a seat, its phenomenal. I have very few bands left on my bucket list, but Queen is always a must see.
Took me awhile to warm up to Adam Lambert, but have come to respect him because he doesn't try to fill Freddie's shoes, every now and then you'll see something similar, but for the most part he's just up there being Adam, and if two people who loved Freddie the most in this world trusts Adam with the songs Freddie performed, who am I to question it? They wouldn't in a million years do anything to dishonor Freddie or the important role he played in Queen. I just don't see the band as "Queen" anymore, but rather the remenants of what is left of Queen, and not just because Freddie is gone, If Freddie was still there and another member was missing I would feel the same. It was the chemistry between the four of them that made the band, and you need ALL four. They are still very good with Adam, just not as good, because you can't duplicate the perfection the four of them had playing together. Adam does respect Freddie and has said what an honor it is to stand in for him. The one I do not like is Marc Martel because he kind of struts around acting like he is as good as Freddie, he sounds a bit like him, but very weak compared to Freddie's vocal ability, he can't belt it out with the force like Freddie could, just my opinion. If you haven't seen Queen's performance at Live Aid (July 1985) it's a must see...has been rated the greatest rock gig performance of all time..about 17 minutes long.
I got the "Night at the Opera" LP when I was 11 in 1975 and wore out the grooves on that thing. Anyway, now I'm introducing my 11 year old grandson to lifelong love of Queen. I told him at a minimum he has to learn Bohemian Rhapsody because it's a basic life skill like knowing how to cook a few things or managing a bank account.
Love your reactions guys! Yes Freddie was unique & one of the best frontmen of all times, there will never be another Freddie, but don’t dismiss Adam Lambert without listening to him with Queen! I was at a Queen & Adam Lambert concert in 2019 in Melbourne Australia one month before lockdown! Best concert ever, Adam can do it all, he doesn’t try to be Freddie but sings in his own unique style whilst showing reverence to Freddie! Try watching the Firefight Concert in Sydney in Feb 2019 & anything from Queen & Adam Lambert Live Around The World Cd/DVD! I promise you will not be disappointed!
another good queen song to react to is ‘39 (live at earls court in June of 1977 and/or the studio version). the lyrics tell a really cool story; i would recommend listening to the studio version first to really appreciate the folk feel of the song. love your reactions y’all :)
Three of the band members were born in 1946 and 1947 and 1948 and the youngest was born in 1951. So these guys grew up listening to Elvis Presley Chuck Berry ( lead guitarist's favorite) & Freddie wished he were Aretha Franklin because he loved her!! They were a great Arena rock band. They also had "another one bites the dust" "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "play the game" from their game album. Another One Bites the Dust went quadruple-platinum in the USA in 1980 and that song was still on the charts for 31 weeks and you couldn't get rid of it for a year not that we wanted to. John Deacon, the bass player, wrote "another one bites the dust" and it's a funky song that was really different but their best seller in the USA.... quadruple Platinum
Freddie Mercury will always be #1 and never will be replaced by anyone; but, it would be interesting to see an Adam Lambert reaction. He is very credible and worthy in his own right, though never Freddie. But his vocal capability is out of this world. If you ever do a reaction video for Adam, I recommend "Who Wants To Live Forever" live.
The rest of this 1986 Wembly concert is extraordinary. Thank you for doing their opening, A Kind of Magic is the next song sung, also great, and Who Wants to Live Forever is good from this same concert. Both of these songs were originally written for the movie "Highlander". I don't think you could find an " average " performance with any song in this concert
I love you guys reacted to Queen. There is a lot to react to. I've been a fan since 1984. Queen is the best. There are four different writers in Queen. That's why they have so many hits. React to Queen Who wants to live forever live in Montreal '86.
Freddie sings the most epic “Wow wow lalala“ ever. The crowd: Heck yeah, let's do the same! I love “In the Lap of the Gods“ live @ wembley. The crowd is so loud. Imagine being in that crowd singing at the top of your lungs with all the original Queen members. This has more of a feeling of a duet between Queen and the crowd than a normal performance.
Yes yes yes!!! Love your channel and love the Queen reactions. Big hug for you 2. Perhaps Now i'm Here live at Wembley-The Bowl. Or Live Aid. Thankyou.
Tear it up happens to be one of my all time favorite Queen songs. Of course I am partial to songs written by Brian and that show off his guitar skills.
I’ve been a Queen fan and in love with Freddie since early 1975 🥰. If you want to react to Bohemian Rhapsody live check out Montreal 1981. They go off stage for a rest while the operatic section plays but come back and HIT THE STAGE !! Electric ! I saw them in Southampton, UK in 1975 and 1977, awesome. Loving the Queen reactions x ❤️Freddie❤️ ua-cam.com/video/N0dbGGvsjf8/v-deo.html
Majority of their performances ar ed best live, a small handful came through better in the studio version. The later songs after 1988 or 1989 were only studio/video as Freddie stopped performing live after 1987. But his voice was still incredible on the last recordings, check out Innuendo or The show must go on.
Yes ! Innuendo PLEASE. It's a very complex song and so is the video. You might like to listen to the lyric version first and then *react* to the music video. Over the top passionate about LIFE.
they were amazing live!! I saw them in 1982. I would have went to this concert, but I am in Canada, not England :( anyhooo, listen to the whole concert, its amazing! Freddie could control any size crowd. Try listening to You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park 1976. its soooo good. there are no bad Queen songs, by the way. Thanks for sharing!!
I know you’re not overly keen on doing the music videos, but “I Want to Break Free” is absolutely awesome! Especially turned up loud... that bass line! John Deacon (the bassist) was their “secret weapon”. You gotta hear his bass on “Millionaire’s Waltz”. So melodic! He also wrote some of their biggest hits, including “I want to break free”. Only band ever that all 4 members have write number 1 hits. Absolute geniuses! Totally Synergetic. Together they were far greater than the sum of all their individual parts. Adore Queen, since 1977! Massive Super-fan! Their music fills my soul.
I was fortunate enough to see them 4 times including this concert and their final one a month or so later at Knebworth. Each and every track they performed live was different to the original, they were all a lot more rocky, their philosophy was to rock the pants of everyone
Hi 👋 I’m here 3 years later😅 but I’m loving your Queen reactions. I was feeling pretty home sick today and I think I’m going to forget about that, while I explore your Queen play list 😊
You need to do Bohemian Rhapsody, and you need to do the official video. The song is so heavily engineered, with looping and multi-tracking and all kinds of tricks to get the sounds they wanted, they really can't do it love. I mean, the DO (did) but in concert they skip the a capella opening, and then during the operatic part they'd all leave the stage while a recording played. So...? [shrug] The official video is much better. Usually they're better in concert, but not in this case. And if you do Somebody to Love, which you should 'cause it's awesome, I suggest you do the official video first, which will get you the full effect of (again) the looping and multi-tracking to get the deep, rich background vocals that really emphasize the song's gospel-rock roots (it's Freddie's tribute to Aretha Franklin), and THEN do the live version from the Montreal concert in '81. They can't do the same deep, rich backup vocals on stage, but what they do instead is absolutely fantastic; the vocal pyrotechnics at the Montreal concert are amazing. Don't Stop Me Now is only available on the official video, which is fine, it's a fun song and they did a good job with it. Under Pressure -- do the live at Wembley in '86 version. Live Aid -- full set. Yes, it's 20 minutes long. If you react to it, we'll show up and watch with you. :) White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon in '75. Adam Lambert is okay, but he's not Freddie. [shrug] Nobody's Freddie, though, so.... :/ But Brian and Roger are still touring, still rocking the fuck out of stadiums all over the world in their freakin' seventies. If they have to have Adam Lambert with them in order to do it, then fine. :)
The 1st song is actually “In the Lap of the Gods - Revisited “ - see the first part live at the Rainbow - 1974! Here’s the link : ua-cam.com/video/xNmrj5nTMOc/v-deo.html
I saw them here in Australia on Wednesday night. They are still sensational and brilliant. They played 32 songs and were on stage for over two hours. Adam is not Freddie but he is great and a lot of fun to watch. Greatest concert I’ve ever been to along with fifty thousand adoring fans.
You have to watch all of Queen. Reg videos and live. You will really appreciate all four members. Fell in love with Queen in 1978 and have loved them since.
You definitely need to do the show must go on! It was written by Brian and by the lyrics you’ll be able to see it’s inspired by Freddie in the later stages of his life :,)
Great reaction! There are so many to recommend! You Take My Breath Away Hyde Park 1976, Killer Queen and I love my Car Live Rock Montreal, Its a Kind of Magic Wembley 1986, Another One Bites the Dust Wembley 1986 but my very favorite and an absolute must is Love of My Life Wembley 1986!!!!!
I’ve loved watching your videos about Queen, this is not criticism but just a couple of pointers, so go back and rewatch harmonies, that was a huge part of Queen, each member of the band had a pivotal part to play in each song, Freddie is iconic and a legend and I adore him no one come close to him as performer songwriter and the “Freddie strut”, no words, but without John “Deaky” Deacon there would be no “Under pressure”, Somebody to love would not be the same without Rogers backing vocals, and no song would work without his amazing drumming, What can you say about Brian May, a guitar genius, every single track has his trademark solo, who else can stand on top of Buckingham Palace and play “God save the Queen” on an electric guitar!
Since you brought it up, check out the performance they did last week with Adam in Sydney...Fire Fight Australia. Great example of what they're doing right now AND they played the whole Ljve Aid set!! I'll surely get yelled at for this as there are haters out there that think Brian & Roger are not Queen & shouldn't be playing. As Adam always says..he's not trying to replace Freddie but honor him by helping keep his music aljve!!
I was six feet from the front. 15. Being threatened by status Quo fans with flick knives. Alone. And soaked from a day of rain. Still one of my favourite memories.
hey guys from the same show you would love the acoustic set of you're so square, hello marylou and tutti frutti, tutti frutti explodes halfway through into a heavy rock song, you would love this medley, it's a real highlight, its nearer the end of the show so the lighting comes into play aswel because its dark outside, you need to watch this, its great and they all perform, not just freddie! 👑✊🇬🇧
it is maggie, just a wee fun interlude where they enjoy themselves but at the same time their musicianship is still 100% even though they seem to be just mucking about! the saturday show has the better versions i'd say? 👑✊🇬🇧
I'm so glad you're doing Queen!! It's wonderful to watch people appreciate them! Thanks. Adam Lambert doesn't touch Freddie on personality, but he's got an equally amazing voice: live the day after the Orlando shooting in '16 Brian said he'd never heard it sung as well: ua-cam.com/video/bc-AmpIVJWM/v-deo.html Brian & Roger are just super happy to still be on the road, lol. They haven't written new songs or recorded w/Adam...as it should be I think.
Great reaction. I hope you do more Queen!!! Their live performances are legendary for a reason. One of my fav is now I’m here live at Hammersmith 1979. Epic performance and great interaction with the audience. At one point Freddie gives his mic to someone in the audience and gets it back without missing a beat for the next lyric in the song. Just amazing. Here’s the link. ua-cam.com/video/pkkFKUmFJ70/v-deo.html Also you mentioned a Queen vid being blocked. There is one channel Eagle Rock that will block really quickly. They have many of the band’s earlier live performances.
This medley was followed by “A Kind of Magic”. ua-cam.com/video/c2_xWTSyCuU/v-deo.html This whole concert is awesome. It was filmed over 2 nights (one in a light rain). Filmed using 15 cameras, and a second set of speakers in the middle of the stadium so that Freddie’s vocals matched what they were seeing on the big screen.
Just love Queen there music is like no other group I can never tire of them, especially Freddie’s there can only be one. Thank you enjoyed watching your reaction. 👏 Would love you to react to the making of One Vision - Queen ua-cam.com/video/HDQ5t-2E8Tc/v-deo.html
Queen with Adam Lambert for a benefit concert in Australia recently replicated for the first time the 1985 Live Aid set.The six-song set included Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Lambert may have big shoes to fill but he does give it a read hot go. ua-cam.com/video/ORrlS0GcDNA/v-deo.html
Hey guys….all you folks “reacting” to Queen tunes live. DO you realize that Freddie, post 1975, almost never sang the melodies, taking each verse and chorus up a notch for excitement and drama on the studio recordings, those great songs that probably would NOT have been hits via the live versions? In 1976, Freddie developed some serious vocal nodes trying to sing the album parts live, and began just transposing the melodies down a bit (no judging there) and letting Roger hit the high parts. And yes, I am a huge Mercury and Queen fan, but I will admit this…..Other than the Queen: Live at the Rainbow in London, 1974, I’m not really a fan of his live voice. Of course he was charismatic, and that AY OH, thing he did to get the audience involved was original and brilliant. And let’s not sell Freddie short….he was a brilliant singer, and amazing songwriter, he knew melody, harmony and chords as well as damn near anyone involved in pop rock music. But you’d really be better off showing off reactions to the studio tunes. (IMHO)😊
Gosh it feels sooooo good to watch reaction videos without the person pausing every darn time !

Quenn show para sempre lembrado. Um espetáculo! Saudoso Freddie Mercury, muitas saudades guardado em nossos corações ........ Viveu intensamente.
Good choice! Seven Seas of Rhye was their first hit and came out on this date in 1974
Killer Queen
@@PerfectSkedar Killer Queen was their first hit in the US chart. It came out 21 October 1974
👏🏼👍🏼👨🏻More Queen. We always love watching people watching for the first time!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
another good queen song to react to is ‘39 (live at earls court in June of 1977 and/or the studio version). the lyrics tell a really cool story; i would recommend listening to the studio version first to really appreciate the folk feel of the song. love your reactions y’all :)
Wish there was more reactions to lyrics, music, and the way songs were first originated..especially early albums.
Yes yes yes!!! Love your channel and love the Queen reactions. Big hug for you 2. Perhaps Now i'm Here live at Wembley-The Bowl. Or Live Aid. Thankyou.
react to Fat Bottomed Girls live at the bowl! one of my favorite Queen performances! also Live Aid!!
The look you give each other when tear it up starts 👌😎
Love love Queen . Since 1972 ❤️❤️❤️
Tear it up happens to be one of my all time favorite Queen songs.
First time I've heard this . . Wow. Thank you!!
Pope Penka glad you mentioned John he sometimes gets over looked.
I was fortunate enough to see them 4 times including this concert and their final one a month or so later at Knebworth. Each and every track they performed live was different to the original, they were all a lot more rocky, their philosophy was to rock the pants of everyone
What were the other two times.
@@reneeflores9161 the national exhibition centre Birmingham twice
What year
@@reneeflores9161 1979 (Queen live killers album time) and 1982 I think. The 1st one was so loud all I could hear for 4 days was a loud hum.
Hi 👋 I’m here 3 years later😅 but I’m loving your Queen reactions. I was feeling pretty home sick today and I think I’m going to forget about that, while I explore your Queen play list 😊
By far best band ever and unbeatable live.
White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon in '75.
Queen my life my friends the air that i breath
The 1st song is actually “In the Lap of the Gods - Revisited “ - see the first part live at the Rainbow - 1974!

My personal favorite is Love Of My Life (Live at Wembley 1986) and of course their performance at Live Aid!
Awesome......Glad you're doing Queen too!
You definitely need to do the show must go on! It was written by Brian and by the lyrics you’ll be able to see it’s inspired by Freddie in the later stages of his life :,)
Please React to Queen, White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Its absolutely AMAZING!
Seven seas of rhye, a child hood game with his little sister-- and he sings it as if it is the 1st performance. Just love him!!
Love your insights, guys! Thx a lot for this, they're really unique! #QueenKingsofRockMusic4evah
Bohemian Rhapsody live at Budapest 1986 (on the last tour with Freddie) is very very good! You should check it out if you find the time.
I heard about that, and definitely want to see Adam doing it.
I love Queen guys, I just found you!
Just found you guys and have watched all your Queen reactions. Great. Please do Dragon Attack live at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982.
Seven seas of Rhye also in the 70’s. First big hit
love your reactionsdo more queen please
I was six feet from the front. 15. Being threatened by status Quo fans with flick knives. Alone. And soaked from a day of rain. Still one of my favourite memories.
hey guys from the same show you would love the acoustic set of you're so square, hello marylou and tutti frutti, tutti frutti explodes halfway through into a heavy rock song, you would love this medley, it's a real highlight, its nearer the end of the show so the lighting comes into play aswel because its dark outside, you need to watch this, its great and they all perform, not just freddie! 👑✊🇬🇧
I keep trying to get people to react to this...so much fun!
it is maggie, just a wee fun interlude where they enjoy themselves but at the same time their musicianship is still 100% even though they seem to be just mucking about! the saturday show has the better versions i'd say? 👑✊🇬🇧
Is that show with or without Freddie taking the police officers hat?
yeh maggie, he put on a london bobbies helmut, it seemed to amuse deac's!

Also you mentioned a Queen vid being blocked. There is one channel Eagle Rock that will block really quickly. They have many of the band’s earlier live performances.
I MISS YOU FREDDIE 😢😢😢
This medley was followed by “A Kind of Magic”. ua-cam.com/video/c2_xWTSyCuU/v-deo.html This whole concert is awesome. It was filmed over 2 nights (one in a light rain). Filmed using 15 cameras, and a second set of speakers in the middle of the stadium so that Freddie’s vocals matched what they were seeing on the big screen.
Just saw Queen and Adam Lambert. Sensational. I was dubious. But not anymore
Just love Queen there music is like no other group I can never tire of them, especially Freddie’s there can only be one. Thank you enjoyed watching your reaction. 👏
Would love you to react to the making of One Vision - Queen
ua-cam.com/video/HDQ5t-2E8Tc/v-deo.html
My favourite performance has to be 1985 rock in Rio. In front of over 400,000!
Have to have a shot of Freddie and Queen everyday! The same will happen to you,, I guarantee it!
Freddie=🐐
Queen has been my life since 1986, since this very concert, met Brian a few times, absolute gent. Obsession with the band does not really cover it.
Live aid please 🙏🙏
I LOVE YOU FREDDIE❤
love youre reaction, can you please react 1986 queen wembley one vision and tie mother down together
Why do I get the Bill Simons vs Denzel Washington vibe when I watch y'all ? Love it
I was there too, happy days
It`s a kind of magic ...same concert wembley
Adam fills it ver well. He’s a great singer and is different then Freddie but still brilliant. Check them out. You should do Bohemian Rapsidy.
I was at this, then the last one at Knebworth....littke did we know
Queen with Adam Lambert for a benefit concert in Australia recently replicated for the first time the 1985 Live Aid set.The six-song set included Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Lambert may have big shoes to fill but he does give it a read hot go.

(IMHO)😊
These are old Queen songs ❤️❤️😊😊
4:46 .....a little bit of Liar, from their first album...up there with the best!
