This video is so chill and really calmed me down. Tuca and Bertie is amazing.
I finished watching it over the weekend and I loved it! The humour felt really fresh and the animation definitely helped with that! The way animation was used to causally do forth wall jokes was nothing I’ve seen before and I loved it! Also the characters are great and feel so real! I hope there’s a season 2!
From what you're saying I gotta check this out lmao
Most definitely
RIP Tuca and Bertie 😢
I like how you made this video man
Great vid as always, Mann. I wish your videos would get more traction on UA-cam, you're always so thoughtful and positive ^^
Thank you ,a proper review on the series
Great video!
First video I've watched of yours. Absolutely love the vibe and the vid. Hope to see more
I'm still sad it got cancelled, it was really good
It’s different
Great review! I feel like this show is going to be an important piece of media that we continously analyze 20 years from now, with the way it presents the more common nuances of adult life. Everything involving relationships, nudity, and anxiety is presented as a normal everyday part of life, and that transparency is really appreciated.
Oof, I would not have included that underwater scene in a spoiler free review.
6:47 What the Internet actually think: What took you so long?
This is a good summary of what the show's about. Personally, this show affected me way more than I thought it would; its message and intention is a perfect match to the issues in my own life like it was written for me or something.
I love how its animation is simple but creative, never repetitive or lazy. I like how the humor is ready to dive into intimate raunchy territory but doesn't use sex as an easy joke in and of itself; instead using sex as the backdrop to something more complex that showcases the comedy specific to the characters.
All the music, format-changes, transitions, and surprise musical numbers are totally appropriate and well-integrated so that rather than being groan-inducing it feels like you found a bonus chocolate in your cookie jar; in other words, if you like one part of the show, odds are the other 99% of it will fit in perfectly with the thing you like.
At a glance basic though the show may be, every aspect of the show seems very deliberate and carefully curated. It may be a breakfast cereal tapioca smoothie, but make no mistake, this is a highly focused breakfast cereal tapioca smoothie that's on a mission from God.
10/10. Getting this show on DVD as soon as possible.
side note to Mann of a Thousand Thoughts: the smirking mouth-closed narration is creepy and off-putting. If unintentional, consider remedy. If intentional, good job.
This is a great idea fam. But you really don't have to move with every word fam.
Just do you.
Lol just found you from the homie ReviewYaLife. You got some good stuff. I like your format.
You should check out my reviews too. Just did a video on BUSTA RHYMES fighting NAZIS lol
I’m curious, why do you emote as if you’re talking with your mouth closed?
That’s the gimmick. It’s like it’s in my head so you’re hearing my thoughts.
I'd find this Tuca & Bertie to be really funny and less dramatic then BoJack Horseman granted I'd do like BoJack Horseman But it feels like this show is a lot funnier
this show is Great and really funny
One thing I didn't like about tuca and Bertie is it got dark too quick
I appreciate the dark stuff though. For a show to be that positive but also go into dark territory is really comforting to me. But fair enough.
@@samwallaceart288 it's cool that it got dark but like this show that explains it within the first season not letting us get into it vs Bojack where they slowly get into it and makes it more impactful when they bring it up later on
i think that BoJack does a good job of showing the characters slowly figure themselves out and break down their barriers; Tuca and Bertie on the other hand has the characters start off being more self-aware to begin with. I like how TaB gets to the point like the characters already know what's wrong with themselves, but agreed BoJack has more of a subtle reveal and buildup.
why do they have bulges that's all I have to say just why why I don't understand why do they have bulges
TheAtheistSlayer I think they're pants are too tight
Not gonna lie, I made a judgement from the trailer this was gonna be some SJW bullshit. But after seeing how many people will miss the show and this review, it convinced me that I need to watch this show soon! The audio, visuals and writing looks amazing.
Btw, so glad I found you from ToonrificTariq! Love that you have your own style as well, different than from most cartoon reviewers. Subbed and liked
That's Netflix fault
