Nice! Spotted my creepy self at 1:13. Such a cool day, got to say G'day to your fine self and came home with a pair of Knob-tailed geckos. Thanks for coming out.
Everytime I thought you were done saying Chai-mera it would come back. Awesome looking expo. Can agree on the sentiment that some laws should change to allow captive bred to be exported. Would love those blue tongue morphs love the look of albinos so much.
I always forget how great Dav Kaufman really is till I go a month without internet and can't watch his videos lol then I am like now I know why I love him so much. Just a all around great guy and I would die to meet him in person. Now I'm going to go watch all the videos I missed of Dav Kaufman cause I absolutely love all the great information in his videos. As always, Keep up the great and amazing work you do!!! Keep inspiring young men and women to become herpers!!! Love you Dav and Thanks for sharing as well. # RATTLEON
Awesome expo love Australia and the reptiles that live there albino carpet python amazing. Great seeing camo there.ty dav taking us there rattleon !❤🐸🐊🐢🦎🐍
What an incredible expo, you're lucky you were able to get there and back before all of this Corona nonsense began! So many incredible animals in Australia, definitely need to make it there one day. Great video, Dāv, brightened the day for my Pubba and I 🤘the Bell's phase, albino blueys, and ackie, adorabibble 😍 that shingleback is gorgeous. My second dream baby of all time is a perentie, I would have spent every second with that marvelous creature if possible.
I’m glad u have more videos coming from Australia!! I was wondering ha. I agree on being able to get some of the newer morphs that haven’t been wild caught. Those children’s pythons were beautiful. Especially that last one u had. Man I was so impressed with Brian’s pick!!! For its beauty and behavior... what a gorgeous animal... the pattern and colors... perfect specimen 👌
With all that’s going on in the states it’s nice to see people acting “normally “ with each other. Another great video from your non reptile expert. Good to see Brian out and about with you and the children pythons 🐍 were beautiful. See you next week.
So cool! I was there. Just so people know the shingleback shown in the video aren't called "garfield" shinglebacks they're called "goldfield' singlebacks haha They're from the goldfields in Western Australia :)
great show! One point to make on Carpet Pythons that will help viewers: Centralian Pythons are a type of Carpet Python as are Diamonds, Coastals, Jungles, Darwins/Cape York-Papuans, Southwesterns and Inlands/Gammon Ranges. They were, however, never lumped into the "Morelia spilota" species as a subspecies. They are, and always were considered, their own species (Morelia bredli) like the Southwestern Carpet Python (Morelia imbricata) and are actually the closest relative to the Diamond Python. Carpet Python is just a rough generalized common name for all of the species within Morelia that are not Green Pythons (Morelia viridis, azurea..) or Rough Scaled Pythons (Morelia carinata).
Mate of mine told me that two years in a row I appear in your video. At 1:00, the bloke in the green shirt and white hat that is me. It was an awesome expo probably the best I’ve been too. Got to met Kenan, saw Peter again and a few other mates that also do UA-cam also Rory too, the owner of the big perentie. Didn’t get the chance to say hi but hopefully next time your in Australia and I am around hopefully I can get to met you. I saw that you did a video at Camo’s reptiles. I’ve been a costumer for a couple years and in that time it has changed a fair bit, animal wise. I do work placements there now and I’m really enjoying it. Hope you can come to Australia again soon!
Awesome video! Too bad gymnasiums echo so much… I wonder if there’s a tech solution for that? A directional mic? I don’t know anything about mics. So, Dav, you going to work with the various US expos to get a children’s section set up? It would be neat to have “seminars” for kids throughout the day, where different people do presentations with their ambassador animals. The children’s section at this one reminded me of the children’s room at Delaware Natural History Museum. It’s gone through several remodels since I was four, but it’s always got neat stuff- being able to dress up in different outfits based on different types of scientists, feel fossils, fur, and snake shed, etc. Maybe expos could also partner with local museums?
Dāv Kaufman's Reptile Adventures can only imagine Dav! Wish we could get our hands on some like you said in your video!! You have any plans this summer going back to Hamburg PA or white plains NY reptile shows?
Mate, you only just snuck that one in before they shut everything down. Are you still in Oz or did you manage to get home. Awesome Expo would love to get there one day. Wish they could have something of that calibre in Qld. Stay safe, stay healthy
That monitor has got to be the most chill and visually intelligent monitor I have ever seen. Those eyes. Wow. You should do a video of your collection as well Dav. 😉

I understand the concern about importing to them. Also could that ever change and what would it take? Sorry Dav I think we spoke about it before but I cant find it. Sry just saw your last part in the video, but if you got more in depth info that would be fantastic
This isn't unique to Australia. You don't see many Brazilian Bccs out there. And if we look at farmed animals in Asia and Africa, it's not working perfect. Lots of poaching still goes on, which then are sold as farmed. Somebody here wrote "Not much that [name withheld] sells hasn’t been poached from the wild." I don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised. We are going to see more restrictions, not less.
I have never heard it the way Dave pronounces it and I love mythology and science and whether it's a doctor talking about a man that has sperm with one DNA and blood with another, or a fan of Greek mythology...always with a 'Ky' sound never with a 'chai' sound, but that works for tea ;)

Are they called “Garfield shingle backs” because of Garfield the cat?
Goldfield. I am Australian and it took me awhile to work out what he was saying. The Goldfields are an area around Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie.
Boges11 makes more sense but the skink does look like the cat so I wasn’t sure 🐈 🦎
