We Falcons fans can’t go one game without nearly having a heart attack. Thankfully we survived this one but in the end we shouldn’t have because we are the Falcons.
Even when Atlanta wins, they choke. Seriously. Forget heart attacks, this team gave Georgia a heart attack, everyone died, and then everyone came back thanks to Lazarus Syndrome. How in the hell does Carolina manage to get a hail-fucken-Mary, then a questionable call, choke the kick, lose the coin, snag a serious pick to drive it all the way to a routine chip-shot kick in this league, and choke it again? Fuck any given Sunday, 2022 season, it's EVERY fucking Sunday.
You're saving millions by moving to the Carolinas. It's so bad in Illinois right now. Our state is the laughing stock of the country and probably the world at the moment.
This game was a terrific comedy of errors that is incredibly funny and entertaining for anybody casually watching but incredibly stressful and aggravating for fans of either team.
The Panthers are notorious for these kind of games. The teams you think will stomp them, the Panthers would magically beat them. The teams you think they'll beat, the Panthers will find some way to lose to them. This game is no different. As a Panthers fan, I went in cautiously optimistic but by the fourth quarter, I felt hyped as hell. I still love my team, but I should have known better that some BS would happen in the end to pull the rug out from under us.
to be honest the most surprising thing out of this game is that... it was kind of unironically good for two normally defensive teams in the tank division seeing a 70+ point total is crazy, outside of the two missed kicks it was a great showing from two rebuilding teams if not for the blown call leading to the bad kick, this'd be a storybook ending with a record setting throw
@@justinturley7071 funny enough the NFC south used to be the best in football… Drews Brees and the Saints Matt Ryan and the Falcons Cam Newton and the Panthers i remember in 2017-2018 they all made the playoffs which is hard to happen heck even the Bucs with Jamies would play tough every other sunday
As a long time Panther fan, I’ve learned to never get my hopes up so when it all fell apart at the end I just started laughing. Honestly it was a fun game to watch
That PJ Walker throw to DJ Moore was an absolute thing of beauty, one of the all time great throws. Give them credit where credit is due. Hilarious choke afterwards.
The marvelous season where more than half the games are tank bowls. Of the 13 games in week 9, only 2 feature both teams above .500. This is truly the lasting legacy of Roger Goodell's football genius.
Every year, there’s a tank division. This year, we have a tanking Panthers, a rebuilding Falcons, a crumbling Bucs, and the Saints without Payton and Brees. And they can all easily win the division. The Shield used Amazon’s $13 billion to give script writers a raise.
I was honestly expecting the NFC North to be the tank division this year with our half new couching heads and other bumbling. I did not expect my Viking to be leading the division by 3 games halfway through the season >.>
As a Ravens fan it’s so nice to know that our kicker is on his own level and everyone else is just below. More than 60 consecutive field goals in the 4th quarter & overtime ✊
As a Saints fan, this was the best game I ever watch. Two clowns fighting each other for the tank division lead. Idc if we don't win the division, we just suck and injured as hell.
0:39 holy shit. They actually brought back the original wordmark! I love that so fucking much. Please keep it Carolina. It'll be the best thing you've done since 2015
after the rams left stl, i havent had a team to support, but after mariota became the starter for atlanta, i became a falcons fan. im surprised that more people arent psyched about his return as a starter. his runs are fun to watch, and although hes no vick, hes close enough for me lol
I think Stains of Time is a fitting song, because watching this game was like playing the Monsoon fight: You don't know what the fuck is happening on your screen but you are still getting hurt.
As a Falcons fan, I'm so glad I was in the middle of nowhere and had no connection to watch this game. I most certainly would have been hospitalized....but no matter how you get there, we're in first place all the same
There it is. I told people in the comments that there would be _three_ videos this week. I was waiting for this. 😁 Poor Tree. He's probably hitting himself this week. And I don't just mean because of Days of Our Steelers.
I don't know if there's any official criteria to determine "Tank Division," but the AFC South and NFC North had the lowest average wins per team at 7 and 7.5 in 2021.
I *was* envious of missing this game because the geniuses at FOX had the brilliant idea of leaving Bonus Coverage so we can get the summary of pregame blather for Rams-49ers and the all-important shots of Matt Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo scratching thier nads in warmups
I was going to talk about how awesome this video was until I had to stop listening to you talk because the music that you had, especially whatever that heavy metal awesomeness was, drew me in. Your playlist must be a monster!!! What was that beautiful metal piece of genius?
It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed so hard at a game as a Panthers fan. That shit was pure comedy. I would’ve liked to win but now we’re still in the race for Young/Stroud so 🤷🏼♂️
I swear to god, this season feels like it's been written by D&D after they ran out of George RR Martin material.
To be honest, I’ve never really cared much for the super bowl, awarding or otherwise.
S tier comment
The NFL kinda forgot about being normal this year.
At least its made for the most interesting season in recent memory
As homie casually insults D&D
As a Panthers fan, this was a heartbreaker. Just when we were getting some wind in our sails… this happened.
When we get 1st or second pick and get Bryce young we will be glad we lost this game

You just got lucky that the Panthers screwed up last second.

As a Chicagoan who moved to North Carolina recently it's good to know I've spread the Bears' antics to Charlotte.
Thanks for the kicking luck - Falcons fan

Honored that the Panthers we're featured in a Greatest Game vid. All I can say is thank god for the Carolina Hurricanes
Going to need Panthers Man soon, begging people to come to their games.
Too bad AVS GOING FOR 2-0 THIS YEAR BABY, WOOO
The Tar Heels only have 1 loss as a football team. There's that.
Thank god for the Cup in '06.
As a Bears fan, we understand your kicking pains. 2018. I'm crying now.

The Greatness of NFC South Football this year cannot be denied

Even during Sunday's.
The Adam Sandler "You blew it!" will never fail to make me laugh. Thanks for the amazing content as always, Tree ❤️
As an XFL fan, I'm so glad that PJ Walker was able to create such a highlight reel play. He definitely didn't lose the game for the Panthers.
