Shay, I can’t tell you how much the retreat meant to me. I’m definitely more of an introvert, but I really enjoyed the entire experience. I met some wonderful friends and will forever giggle out loud at the memory of you strutting your stuff in your Buckee’s bathing suit! Thanks for all of your hard work to get this done! 🦫 I enjoyed the whole video. I'm glad everything went well at the retreat. It is a lot to put it together. We as crafters spend the bulk of our time alone. Seeing others after so much time would be overwhelming. I'm looking forward to seeing the swag bag items. 💜🎨👩🦳👑

I’m so glad you had such a great time! I am on the waitlist for the Lonestar retreat. If you decide to do yours again I hope I remember to get my name on the list ASAP. I forgot last time how fun to have your mother-in-law there!!!!! I’m sure all of your effort and those that helped you did not go unnoticed. I’m positive everyone appreciated the event.
Sounds like a great time was had by all! I can't imagine all of the work that goes into making a good retreat but thank you for the glimpse into it. Happy to know that no tornadoes touched down near your house! Oh, my, how scary to hear the sirens and not know if one will touch down near you or not and especially when you don't know where one of your children is -- terrifying! 🌪😱

I wish I could afford to go to a retreat. After seeing some of the prices I almost cried and I would need to fly to all the ones currently in my state because I can't drive. I have no offline diamond painting friends so it would've been amazing to see all you amazing people and not feel so alone with this project. I'm happy you guys had fun though! I found out that I'll be getting a bucees 20 minutes away from me so I hope to visit it someday.
I was on Cymbalta for a few years. It was okay, but I felt a bit numb. Whatever you do, please don't just stop taking it if you don't like it. My dr said there have been really bad results from people doing that. Praying this helps you feel better!

Sounds like it was really fun and I’m so happy for you (and everyone). I live in Oregon , which is called the beaver 🦫 state, so here you go! However, there’s a big rivalry between OSU the beavers and U of O the ducks. I graduated from U of O when I was 47 and I will not identify as a Duck. Long story but I like the Beavers! TMI, I know, but oh well. I had an operation Tuesday and drove home yesterday (3.5 hours away) and today I’ve been super dizzy and unable to eat cuz of it. Anyway surgery went well, just have to get over this dizzy crap part. I did take most of the week off of work (the job I hate - yes, still there for now), and that feels soooo good. I needed this break from that. Love you. ❤😊

I love that y'all had fun at the retreat. My mom used to be on the planning team for our youth groups retreats, and planning got easier each year as they gained more knowledge and contacts. The only thing they had to really worry about was growth and cost. Die the doctors check your fsh levels? Also I hope the meds get you where you need to be. Anywho thanks for keeping me company today. ❤️

Hey Shay. I am a Clinical Psychologist. Cymbalta is an SSRI similar to Prozac and Lexapro.Many people prefer Cymbalta because it seems to also have some “anti-pain”qualities for people who also have body pain, fibromyalgia etc. Yes, perhaps your “low energy” is just low serotonin or dopamine. Love your channel!!!Good luck and keep us updated!!! ❤️
Hi Shay Shay! I’ve been on Cymbalta for years and have had good luck with it. No side effects or anything. I know you’ll be reading this after the retreat but you must have been so excited! I’m recovering from my back surgery and am doing well. I saw the surgeon yesterday and he said my incision looked good. I’m so glad you had such a great time at the retreat!🦫 Shay you give back to the community in so many ways, I hope you know that! I’ll see you on Sunday! Love you girl!

My doctor put me on Cymbalta for my PTSD to help quiet the movies in my brain. Is it a SNRI. The only down side is can make it almost feel like there is a fog between you and your feelings. For me it is worth it because My PTSD is very severe.
🦫 Sounds like the retreat was a blast, always great to get together with people who enjoy the same things. So happy that you enjoyed yourself!!! Job stuff, keep telling yourself that you are a talented individual that is worthy of success. The right opportunity will present itself at the right time, having the patience is the difficult part. Sometimes fate is slow to react, but it will come. (Glass half full 😊)
Hi Shay, I've been on psychiatric meds for decades. I'm bi-polar type 2, with a severe anxiety disorder. My experience with Cymbalta wasn't great. I felt ok mentally on it, but I sweated profusely, especially the back of my neck and my forehead. I'm really hoping that this isn't a problem for you. It's a pretty common side effect if one shows up. I was surprised by it as I've been on meds so long that even if I do get a side effect it's short lived as I adjust pretty quickly. Unfortunately that was not the case with this med. It wasn't something I was ok with and went off it. I know you are in Texas and summer is on the way. I was living in Texas (Wichita Falls) at the time and it was also summer. At first I just thought I was having a bit more trouble with the heat and humidity, before I realized that it was the medication. I mention that since that's what I was thinking at the time.

I want to go to a retreat and it’s definitely a bucket list item for me.
As I’ve talked about before, I’ve started DP pen turning at the start of the year. Well I’ve been working with my mentor Stacy Travis who makes DP and writing pens, resin and pretty much anything with a handle, alongside Nikki Corell who creates resin items. We have recently changed Stacy’s group, Lady Lathe Customs into a co-op. It’s being so well received. It’s been so exciting to be a part of and to work with fabulous ladies. I am thriving and happier than I’ve been in a decade +. I think I’ve really found my passion. 🦫🦫🦫
