CL55 AMG : 0 to 60 mph in 6.0 sec. CL600 : 0 to 60mph in 6.2 sec. So it is a bit faster than the V12 version, but IMO mostly by the virtue of being a bit lighter while having the same power output.
@@francoisthailande2440 What is the point? The CL500, CL55 AMG, and CL600 all perform so close to each other yet are so mechanically different. Mercedes HAD to be losing money.
@@jdcp8976 Oh yea, 100%. Each car has it's own personality and they are all very much different engines despite being related. Sure, the CL 55 AMG is just as fast as the CL600 but at the same time they have two entirely different objectives. Performance wise, the V12 a no-compromise kind of engine. It has power everywhere in the REV range, is almost paranormally smooth and can be both luxurious AND powerful. The V8 Kompressor is a raw balls to the wall kind of engine that wants it's growl to be heard. It's practically a racing engine in a luxury coupe. Then, with the basic M113 5.0 V8, it does everything you want it to. It sounds good, is still a muscle car with great street performance, but is smooth and quiet. The N/A 5.0L M113 is a low effort V8 that isn't being stressed at all.
What music is used in this video? Is so good

275 section rear tires are too wide for only 391tq that's why she couldn't slide smoothly.
Thats weird. It should be much faster than V12 with 4 cylinders less over the front axle, and AMG suspension.
