- Today we are headed to a brand new region in trader steve's ultimate quest of obtaining every expensive item in Gilenor and completing the quest cape!
Now I have had access to some of the best money making methods in the game, but I'm currently restricted by gear. So we need to get a better weapon than say a dragon crossbow to complete raids quicker, godwars and a ton of other bosses.
Its time to finally step foot into the elven lands and start our journey towards the bow of faerdinin!

Rules:
-This is a main account that has access to the grand exchange.
-Money can be earned in any way, but no trading or transferring money over to Steve.
-Once a unique rare item from the list has been purchased a new adjacent chunk can be chosen. (I will allow an exceptions to use natural forms of transport such as ships, boats, canoes, minecarts etc
-To unlock new chunks each new item must be unique and not a repeat.

If you're going for the Quest Cape in the long run you'll need the fairy ring by the polar hunting area anyways, seeing how it contains the entrance for the cave for Olaf's Quest.

I just wanna give a heads up. There's a guy going around with the name Flipping Rs, trying it impersonate you to scam people out of money. Ran into him a couple times at the GE in world 355.

Hey man, love your content. Idk if you've done a video like what im about to suggest before, but i would love to see you go through a history of the best moneymakers since like 2007. If you really wanted to stretch it out, you might be able to amke it a series, like how long does it take to make 1m using eahc of these methods today (lol at flax -> bowstring) but just seems like a hood fit for you and you might enjoy it(: thanks for the videos!

For barraging dust devils in the smoke dungeon, I found the easiest way is to change NPC attack option to "always right-click", tag them, and then run back and forth in three tiles in a straight line until they group up.
I think you need the eastern part of the Tirannwn swamp for Song of the Elves, since one of the elf leaders is on an island there. So you might have chosen the wrong swamp chunk to unlock.

Unless I'm super wrong, it's not a huge deal in the long run, since the western chunk is used for fairytale p2. It'll bite him in the short term though, since that's money that could've been spent more optimally, but it is what it is.

at 6:00 wouldn't you have to eventually unlock that chunk anyway for fairytale pt 2, to go to the hideout?
I think you have to go to the camp tyras port for one of the elf quests, so it's good that you unlocked the west chunk for coal tar instead of the south one

Don't you need the tar island fairy ring for Fairytale p2? Like the hideout tp sequence?
With murder mystery, mountain daughter, horror from the deep, Fremmenik trials, olafs, and probably some quests I'm missing, every path to relleka and both bridges will need to be open. I would bet 10-15 chunks no doubt.
Is the series where you get a full gear equip of all the most expensive items for each slot still going on?
If possible, move your house to rellekka for a good route :)

It would be nice to see the sum of the spent money for the bought items. Please add it somewhere
not to backseat too much, but a slayer ring is also a fair consideration for getting to relleka since u have some of the chunks unlocked in that direction it looks like!
Can't you use keldagrim to get to rellekka? Unless my memory is shot there's ways to get to keldagrim and you need the city for quests anyway

Wait, why did you do the dagonhai as one item? If I’m not mistaken the top and bottom are above 1m each why did u group it together as the set? And also zulrah has a direct tele so why cut urself short like that? So many questions 😅
He can buy the individual pieces of the robe and also the set counts as a chunk piece as well
The exponential increase in items is a real concern with the longevity of the series. Could take months to unlock some of those chunks near the end 😢
Honestly I can't remember if you have the PoH unlocked, but if you do, and happen to have a home person unlocked, could always move it to rellica and then warp to that
IIRC there's a restriction to unlock only chunks that can be reached by "conventional" means, like by walking or by ship (not teleporting)

Two things:
1) Can't you use the fairy ring next to the lighthouse to get there without unlocking the Barbarian assault chunk?
2) You have to talk to Lady Carys Hefin in the eastern chunk of the poison waste during Song of the Elves. You unlocked the wrong chunk.
Barbarian Assault chunk is a requirement for Horror From The Deep as well as the bar crawl which is a requirement for Scorpion Catcher.

Honestly, once expensive items start running low, I think it would be fair to unlock at least a few chunks based on quest completions. As an example, maybe 1 chunk per 2 quests, or 1 per 10 QP? Just making up some numbers there.
But with only 300-ish 1m+ items, that only gives just over 2 chunks per quest, and many require more than that. Also, some reward for completing quests makes sense, since that's the end goal of the series.
Just an idea for the future, because I really enjoy this series, and it'd be a shame if it ended in failure once that item list runs out.

ya know steve isnt so much of a trader as he is a hoarder. hes not trading anything, just collecting items in his bank. its too late to alter rules, but I propose you should be allowed to flip items you already purchased for unlocks with the stipulation that you have to have all placeholders in your bank filled by the time you want to spend chunks
How are items in this game so expensive...yet all money making methods are so lowww.
