I have a criticism of your channel
You use very bad and unappealing images in reviewing TVs.
Please broadcast trending movies with 4k quality and football and attractive HD channels on TV.
I got one the other day. I did some adjusting and OMG this TV puts out an amazing pic. So happy I bought it. bought and open box and saved around $700 on the TV. Cant ask for a better deal.
Looks absolutely stunning TV I have a 2018 lg oled still going strong,I always love lg TVs they are one of the best keep up the good work b,thanks.
Key words to what you just said....2018 OLED.... This is LG's version of mini led back lights on what's most likely a tired washed out IPS..LCD panel. Also I don't know what his wife was talking about, but they've reviewed plenty of big TV's recently, as in the last year or two. This is just a really bad version of a large Q90a/b. It's always possible that LG made a mistake and made a good LCD based TV, but I wouldn't hold your breath on that.
Good for you, I have bad experience with
g TVs, two LG TV were dead within 2-3 years. Thinking of getting 85 inches of 83 but I’m kinda afraid
JUST BOUGHT THIS EXACT TELEVISION! MAN! It's just damn nice right out of the box! Some televisions you have to tweak the color, brightness and so forth but this is the first I've had where it's perfect from the moment I turned it on! Sleek, tall, low bezel, sound is even great! I can't say nothing but good things about this television and would recommend it to anyone looking for an 80 inch or higher.
My LG 86" had issue so I used my Verizon asurion home protect coverage to file a claim. They gave me choice of a Samsung, LG (another model) and this model LG QNED. You have me so excited for it to come in a couple days. I wasn't expecting them to offer such a good replacement. They have an awesome service.
Amazing review! I literally just bought one today! Can’t wait for it to be delivered! Thank you so much
I got the Sony 75 Z9K so I'm all set for a big mini led TV but just from the quick look it looks pretty good for a ips panel.
You need to do a in depth review of the picture quality good and bad then it will be easier for folks considering upgrading to a new big set, plus the price.
I paid stupid money for the Sony but I really like it, most folks aren't going to want to spend Sony money on a TV and this big boy might be a affordable option with a decent picture and features for the money.
Got the 75inch and it's awesome, clean picture no blooming ,just a great tv
I want to know how this stacks up against its mini led competition and more specifically - at least for for me - against Samsung and Sony’s QD LED TVs. I’m trying to decide wether I should wait for when QD leds come in larger sizes next year or spring for the next best thing right now. Thx to you both.
My 77 A80J is still killing me with its great picture, I don't think I can handle anything better. :)
Thats an awesome tv.
Wow, this totally reads like a sponsored ad, I was thinking that he was gonna be talking about blooming and motion and breaking down how it handles colors, and highlights, and really getting into the black levels, but maybe that's another vid, and this is just the preview one.
I’m with you. He had way too many LG-specific marketing buzzwords going on to not be reading off a script from LG.
He's sold himself out
Every single person being pushed by the YT algorithm is a sell out. First day?
Last years 86 qned was easily the worst looking tv I’ve seen in some time considering it’s features
Bro, this is LG.
Just purchased 186 inch just waiting for it to be delivered. Watched your video found it very informative.
I just purchased the 75" version of this for $1,599. Overall, I'm pretty happy. It's a great upper mid range TV. There are other Mini-LED TV's out there that cost more, including 2021 models from LG, but nearly $1,000 more for a better model is hard to justify. This TV gets BRIGHT has great blacks (in my limited testing). Some blooming sometimes depending on what you are displaying. Coming from a Samsung 55" TV from 2012, this is quite a step up for us. My only gripe is the remote is not backlit, something my Samsung from 2012 had, and not sure I like that the TV turns on when I turn on the PS5 because sometimes it will get confused with the TV box being on and automatically switch back to that.
How fast do apps install and update? Any issues with slowness with that or the OS itself?
@@FoVision haven't used the built in apps but I do have my PS5 connected. OS is smooth. Very happy with the TV.
I bought the same 75" model from Costco - gave any additional 3 year warranty at no cost. I'm pretty happy with it so far. No CEC issues yet.
I loop my connections through my AVR, so if I put the Blue Ray player on, everything switches seamlessly.
Good job Mr and Mrs B.
Perfect example of unboxing and first impression kind of videos.
I wouldn't change and i couldn't suggest anything else.
Hi friends! Excuse me but which tv is better than this one? I am going to buy a new one and I am curious
Thanks for review. Haven’t seen that size.
Just bought the 55 inch for my man cave mainly for gaming on my PS5, this TV looks incredible! Not sure where all the hate for this TV comes from.
Hi B. I have been intrigued by the LG QNED 85, so thanks for the review. I am more leaning towards the 75" model for my space. The only thing I wish was in the video is how it does on HDR content. UPDATE: After a lot of research and some excellent guidance, I pulled the trigger on a 65" LG QNED 85 yesterday. Should arrive to me early next week. Can't Wait!
Why the 65" QNED85 as opposed to your initial consideration for the 75". Secondly, are you experiencing any light leakage when/if you watch movies with top/bottom black bars as seen in the following review:
LG QNED85 Budget MiniLED TV vs the BEST TVs (QN85B vs QN90B vs X95K)
ua-cam.com/video/WZrXDMePIHo/v-deo.html
I am also thinking to get this one. How has your experience been so far?
@@strawberryyogurt0 I have not experienced any light leakage watching TV or movies. Also I went with the 65” due the distance we are from from the TV when watching.
@@kartiksood1854 My experience, after a week has been excellent. The picture of the TV is gorgeous, with great color, brightness, and blacks. All the apps work nicely.
@@chefjefe68 Awesome. Thanks for letting me know bud.
I'm wanting the 2022 QNED 99. I check every day for any updates on availability.
I think LG is trying to debunk the myth that IPS panels can't have amazing contrast and deep blacks. This looks really good.
So this is a IPS panel I was not sure but thinks
Very nice sort of looks like my nano cell 86” LG
Do a comparison video with this TV and the Sony X95K since they are both mini LEDs and a great contender.
Wow another gigantic TV setup by B the Installer and wife JENN.
My best friend have the 65" QNED 90. It is very nice. Thinking getting the 86" QNED 90. Waiting to see. If it goes on sale. Either black friday or cyber Monday
On BB is sold out, on any big size
Holding out for it’s taking forever 2022 QNED90. I had the 65QNED85 and the blooming didn’t pass my threshold. I also hope the additional zones will better mask any light leakage at the edges.
My understanding is that the Sony X95k does a much better job on blooming then the qned85. But I agree, waiting to see how well the Qned90 performs.
@@brerrabbit4196 the X95K also costs twice as much as the QNED85 so I would hope the local dimming is way better
no it does not local dimming on sony is a problem go and watch videos, and blooming on lcds is never going away its the technology, holding for QNED90 but 85 has the best blooming control so far 2022!
High threshold!….lots of bloomers have given the 85 very solid marks…
Thanks for the info for unpacking a TV, showing a remote and turning on a TV. Seriously!!
I saw this in Best buy a few days ago for 1999. Loved the size!!!! I was very close to getting it. Only reason I didn't was I really want the LG oled 77" G3. But it's still 4000. I know it's worth it. But I bought my last 65" LG 3d TV 13 yrs ago for 4000 and couldn't justify getting a new one since nothing is wrong with the old one! I'm worried the G3 will be 2500 in January. I'm a big movie and sports guy, i game very little. Help! Lol
I get my LG 86 Inch TV delivered on Saturday 12th August 2023 And can't wait to have it. So Excited. My biggest tv I have had up to now is 67 inches. The big tv's are now coming down in price. Maybe something over 100 inches in the future. I have had a projector also with 120 inch screen but a tv that size would be better at a good price.
do you like it?
Box opening ASMR here ))) love it
Any light leakage in the corners that you could see? The was the concern Fomo and I had with the 65in, other wise it's a great TV.
Perhaps the additional zones (in addition to covering the bigger size) does a better job of masking any light leakage at the edges. Any word on the release date of the 90?
@@johnb4905 next couple of weeks supposedly
Love your videos B :)
I order one today .. and arriving in few days .. I love the size hugeee
Thinking of getting this too. Did you get it and do you like it? If so, can you take a measurement of how far the legs are from the edges of the TV? Need to see if it'll fit on my stand.
I have the same tv however I’m have complaints about the blacks.
Shadows seem to be moving and blotchy. Do you think there is something in setup to correct this?
Is this a problem you’ve heard of?
Yes I really want that 86 inch lg tv
Awesome tv and review. How would you compare this to the qn95b 85 inch?
Your really into the big screens this year
You guys handle a lot of big TV and do a good job also. But, what do you do with all those different TV you review? Now you got me wanting to get an 80” tv instead of keeping my 65” Sony
Love watching my favorite pair. I hope I can ask if you can talk about power consumption of these big beautiful tv's and cost of Tv's. This 86 looks absolutely gorgeous but I wish you would have made a comparison to LG oled and specific model your comparing too. 👍
Hey B that haircut looks great!
B looks like a completely different person without a hat on. I feel like you're not as handy without the hat. 🤣😂🤣😂 Thanks for another great video.
I got the qned 91 2022 65 inch couple months ago in Australia and I found that the blooming was still pretty bad not terrible but bad
Sounds disappointing, I am about to jump on the 86" QNED91. Now need to consider the 77 LG CS
Im thinking of either the 55" or 65" version of this or the LG Oled C2 for mostly Xbox series X gaming, movies, as well as NFL...my current room is fairly bright and even my current LG UHD is very reflective as a result, which i hear is an issue with the C2...any thoughts or prefence between the 2? Thanks!
The blue's are particularly vibrant both on screen and off
Hey B. Great videos. I can't decide between the LG NED85 85" and the Samsung QN90B. My concern is glare. A lot of windows in the room it is going in.
Hi Paul, I am having the same decision to make. LGNED85 vs Samsung QB80B. Have you made a decision or got some good wisdom?
I'm comparing the qned85, qn85b, and hiaense u7h Saturday.
How does this compare with the Samsung q80b, recently got a 55" q80b and Wondering if LG is better with motion and also if the mini LED would make a huge difference.
Bri if I have a PS5 and Xbox Series X and a Soundbar, if wanna use all 3 products of course. May I ask what HDMI 2.1 splitter you can suggest so I can have all 3 plugged into this tv? This tv looks awesome and would be a great replacement for my Samsung QN90B that died. I appreciate your help and I just subbed!!
I brought mine in January and your reviewing it now. LOL
Hello, thanks for the brief review, would you make a comparison between this TV and the Samsung Q90B , TCL C835, Hisense U8H, and Sony X95K.?
The C835 isn't available in NA
I'm going to the 75", great review guys as usual. Where's Jens joke?
I wish when reviewers were talking they would just start with how the blooming and flashlighting and if course black levels are! I mean when dealing with led tvs that's what everyone is wondering 🤔! Especially with this new mini led technology.
Will the remote control the Spectrum cable box, hear a lot of people still have to use cable remote to change channels
Is this better than the QN90A? Looking to make a purchase on an 85" pronto!
awesome wifey man! Wish my wife was into TVs and making unboxing videos. haha
I respectfully suggest you do a more in depth review of the QNED85 like you have with your recent videos. It would be much appreciated. This one seems a bit rushed. Nice haircut.
There will be part 2 of this tv for sure.
Hi, where did you get your entertainment table.
Thanks
Adding Jen was your wisest move B.
Can you please compare it to the 98 inch Qled TCL?
which one is better local dimming ? SAmSUNG qn85b vs LG qned85 , THX
How is this set compared to Samsungs QN90B. Can you do a comparison video?
How many Dimming zones does the 86 inch Mini LED one have?
I was waiting to hear how this QNED picture compares to OLED. Did I miss it?
The 86,,85 series looks like the One I'm going to get...the set up..controls..mobile device connectivity is my question...what am I in for..using my S10 to mirror as a wi fi source???
Does this have a gloss, semi gloss, or matte finish?
How much is this in 86 and is it better than oled?
Hello,
Would you get a Sony KD85x85k over this? I'm deciding between LG 86Qned85uqa vs Sony KD85x85k
Just purchased. Waiting on delivery
How does it compare to the Hisense U8H?😬😊
I live in an Area where I have no choice but to screen mirror my Samsung S 10 to the TV what is my best choice?? I see the LG q mini mentions screen mirror..
how does this compare to the sony x95k mini led 85 inch tv? for watching 4k movies? looking for a theater room use. anyone have specs or advice? thanks in advance.
Which Wall mount should I get for this TV?
Hi have to say Jen looks younger with her hair down keep up the great vids and lets see more of the pup lol
Between this TV in the video (LG 86in Model 86QNED85UQA) and the Sony Bravia 85in Full Array LED model XE85X90K which do you like better for someone who likes gaming (Xbox) and streaming movies?
Purchased the 75 inch and I was expecting better picture quality some programs picture quality just average where other programs in HD are brilliant I have found non HD pictures get clearer after a couple of minutes of viewing but nothing great I was expecting better considering the price
What media stand is that?
Would you recommend this over the Hisense U7H let me know please
How do you do PiP with this LG ?????? thx on any advice.
i have a qned90 an a oled a80j from last year. Watching sports and videogames the qned is better to my taste. Sure colors are less saturate but tv looks 3d , and its more immersive for baseball, football and hockey. Jerseys in sports look to dark to my taste on the oleds and ice on hockey is just not white enough and accurate. Videogames i also prefer the brightness and HDR highlights on the mini led. Picture quality may be better on Oled but image feels stuck inside the tv has oppose has the mini led. Only thing i prefer for the Oled is movies in general . So if you like movies more go for Oled. One thing i would like to know is the mini led contrast ratio in numbers ...4000:1 ???
Hi Jane, I live you!🥰😍😘
Whats the difference between the 85 series and 80series?
hello
please can u let me know which is the best to buy between Samsung qled 4k uhd N90 and C8PUA 4K HDR Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65'' Class (64.5'' Diag
Hisense Uh8 or LG qned85? For 75” I mainly watch sports and stream movies
Imagine this is an 85 inch QD OLED from LG❤😄❤😄❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think you mean Samsung or Sony. I'm Not sure LG is going to do a QD anytime soon, from what others were saying. LG is probably going to keep pushing their own panels. Who knows though.
@@xfiazc07 no if I am fantasizing might as well dream of LG switching to QD OLED😄
How does the screen do with light reflections? I have the Sony A80J OLED and my only dislike is light reflections in screen.
Thanks 4 the lg qned review appreciate that I've been considering this tv asked u to review and now u have
How is the performance for Standard Definition content?
I’m leaning to the 75”QNED85, than the QN90B 75” due to price is higher than LG
Just purchased mine
How is that compared (LG) to the Hisense U8H?
Hey there! If you had to get a 75" QNED85 for $950 or 75" X95K for $1600, which would you pick???
Hi B, amonth ago i was planning to buy x90k then i saw this LG QNED85 got confused a bit if this a replacement for Qned90 last year, but end up to buy Q90A very good deal.
This or U8H for for movies and gaming?
Can't wait for the time when a mattress size TV can be had for 500 bucks.
What size was the old TV?
Very big TV as always
Yyyyy now big tv begins at 97 inch !!!!!!!!! My 83 '' oled is already too small for me.
Can you show how to mount this tv with the LG slim mount
Do you just return the tvs?
I just bought the 55 inch version
I hope it’s good im waiting for it the ship
how is it? any ghosting or trailing or blur in games?
@@PcGamingForFun seems fine to me
Im no tech wiz, but it does everything i need to
Good response times,
Good picture quality on programs and games.
Only thing inpersonally dont like is the tvs interface. I think I actually do prefer android tv or at the least more access to apps
But as far as ordinary use goes its good
So..... Bottom line get the U8H 75' , the qned85 on 75 version.ñ cost $200 more and the qned90 Is $500 and is sold out.. so... What you think B the Installer?
how many dimming zones the 86 size have?
Am curious about that myself. I've got the 86" on order. Can't wait!
I'm keeping my eye on this model only in a 65". How does it do with blacks(blooming) and how well does it perform in bright rooms?
I ended up buying this tv in a 65" and couldn't be more pleased. One of the best values out there imo. I've had it for 6 weeks or so and haven't found anything I'm unhappy with. Initially I had a sound issue when using my Sony home theater system with it but it worked itself out and all syncs together fine now. Big thumbs up on this model.
I just purchased a 65in qned 85, so far I noticed that standing in-center looks great but then when I go to the left or right the colors start to dull and it looks foggy, I'm thinking of returning it and just getting a OLED but maybe there's something I'm missing as to why it's looking like this can anybody give me suggestions thanks.
