- Peanut butter has many health benefits and will lower your glucose levels, A1C, Insulin Resistance, Bad Cholesterol and Triglycerides. Always look for peanut butter that contains only peanuts. Avoid peanut butter that includes added sugars and hydrogenated oils.
According to the researchers, who report their findings in the current issue of the Journal of Nutrition, eating peanuts can keep the cells that line the arteries healthy, helping them stay more elastic and flexible. Peanuts improve your total Cardiovascular Health and can lower Blood Pressure.

Man..., I really need this man as my personal physician!
He is! 😁
I listen to him more than my own Drs. Always excellent advice that makes sense, too.
Me too.
@@heygetoffmylawn1572yea, I agree. He isn't trying to sell us anything but giving us helpful info.
Thank you really inspires us all tu live healthly wid good sound advice simple but tu da tee explanation 😊
quick back story...I'm 66, COPD, spent 6 weeks last year in ICU on a ventilator was declared 3 times. wasn't gonna give up. got released from hospital 2 and half weeks early, back to work as a professional driver 7 weeks later after independent certification of abilities. I'm a cranky ole cynic. Came across your videos about 5 months ago and breezed past then thinking it's another one of THOSE people. BUT, there was a little voice in the back of my noggin. Came across your videos again a week ago...and started making notes...the went to the grocery store and got some fresh thyme, oregano and ginger...some dandelion root tea, some honey, humeric, cumin, green tea and lemon. that all goes into the morter and pestel then once pasted nicely added to a pot with my mug of water and simmered for 12 minutes...timed by Alexa (she says hi every time I set the timer) then in sets in the pot steeping for 7 minutes with the teas added. strained and into my cup with a teaspoon of honey and I sip. Been doing this about 5 days now. I heavy pressure in my chest is down about 50%. In a low activity situation or no activity I breathe perfectly well and blood oxygen is averaging 92%. ( they want me between 88 and 92, I retain CO2). Activity...I can go up a flight of stairs and not be out of breath, I can snow blow the driveway and not have to pause 10 times to catch my breath. The phlegm ...well that was a struggle most times to clear...sometimes it's still a fight but the frequency is down by about 30%.
I have a few goals to achieve with the knowledge you've shared. I'm still a cynic but you. may well have started the path for that to change. Regardless, it must be said... Thank you for your time and apparent sincerity....Thank you
That’s awesome! keep up the good work ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fight on!
@phochmann...So, fresh thyme, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric + dried oregano +cumin powder + lemon (whole & peeled)? ALL in your mortar & pestled. In pot simmering for 12 mins, then pot off stove & add dandelion + green OR black tea to steep for 7 mins. Add honey if desired after strained. Did I get this right? THANK YOU if U do reply AND CONGRATULATIONS on your new healthy lifestyle 👍👍😊🤎
@@ponysart6078 the cumin and tumeric are not fresh. squeeze half a lemon into the pestle. once ground to a coarse paste into a pot with a mug of water just simmering for 12 minutes. Then heat is turned off and the teas, dandelion root tea and green tea to steep for 7 minutes. strain into your mug add honey to taste and enjoy.
What’s COPD?
I follow all the advice of Dr. Mandell and I feel good at 86 widow from USA
I’d love to have 1tbls of peanut butter every day, but sadly I can’t control myself and I’ll end up having 5 or 6 tbls.
Me to lol
I'm in your club 😄
I know! A jar and a spoon and it’s a party. I can’t keep it in the house. Sad but true.
Oh me too!! I've found healthier option at choczero but $$$$
At 3:43 he says a couple of tablespoons are okay
Just like Doc said, only have a few tablespoons, and make sure, make sure, make sure it’s all natural, that it does not have palm oil and sugar. Do not overdo it because it is high in omega6 and you mess up your Omega3 -omega;6 ratio
And what is this I hear about mold in most peanuts and peanut butters...? Anyone..?
@LZs, I think he has addressed that in previous videos he has done about peanut butter. He said it wasn't a problem in the U.S., and to buy organic. Do a search for "peanut butter" in his previous videos to double check what I remember, but I think that's right. 🙂
What is palm oil and is it good for you? Should I eat refined or unrefined oils? Anyone can chime in? Thanks I love organic peanut butter.
What a knowledge , what a wisdom !
@@winniejones9243 Palm oil is not good for you. Stick with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Avocado and Coconut.NO Soybean, Corn or any of those trans fats.
I love this guy. He isn't giving us fake information like Dr Goldberg on youtube. Thank you for your honesty docta
Dr. Goldberg?
Who is Goldberg?
Eh????
They're both not doctors
😂 Saw what you did right there
Thanks, Doc. I've been following you for years, I'm 55, and I feel great, and a lot of it is because of you. I've always said the easy part is the gym, and the hard part is watching what we eat. And don't call it a diet just say your trying to eat better.
Me too!😊
It’s interesting that you say all this because my 87-year-old aunt has been eating peanut butter with her carrots dips in her peanut butter every day for 20 something years😊
Awesome! Some days all I eat is dark chocolate and oats and peanut butter!! Sooooo super happy to see this!!
This is the greatest doctor on the internet
Organic peanut butter with salt is my go-to evening snack!!! 😀
I eat one tablespoon of natural/sugar free peanut butter mixed with chopped whole apple, a few crushed pecans, 2-3 tablespoons hemp hearts, teaspoon of cinnamon, a little stevia/erythritol and Himalayan sea salt for breakfast often. It’s delicious and I’m satiated for hours. 👍🏽
I eat peanut butter and apples daily and aint no way 1 tablespoon covers a whole apple lol
@@nayjavu I can spread 1 tbsp on most apple pieces. I tried two this morning now that I see it’s healthier than I thought.😊👍🏽
That sounds delicious, I may have to implement this recipe into my diet 😊
I would not use erythritol as it isn't good for the ♡
Sounds wonderful! I would use granular monkfruit instead if stevia/erythritol. Will definitely try this! Thanks for sharing!
You are our personal Doctor Mendell , we appreciate very much !
I want him as my personal physician
This is MY video. I love peanut butter. Thank you so much Doctor. I enjoy your videos and have been doing some of your exercises. I need to strengthen my core. Thanks again!!!

Good job Dr.
I make my own and love it. A food processor, unsalted peanuts, ceylon cinnamon, flax, hemp, chia seeds, and raw honey to taste.
Well once again I found this at the right time. Thank you Dr. Mandell.
I've been doing that for 10 years without knowing how good it was for me!
I eat peanut butter everyday without added salt and sugar especially before going to bed it helps me to have a good sleep
Thanks, I'm going to try this❤

I put 1 tbs 100% peanut butter in my over night oatmeal 🥣, it's delicious. Dr mandell I love all your videos ❤
When I get hungry at night, I eat a tablespoon of peanut butter. It satisfies me and takes my mind off eating. I didn't think it was a good thing but now I'm happy to know its good for my diabetes. Thanks again Dr!
Thank Doc! ❤ IMHO peanut butter should be listed as superfood! Every time I eat a spoonful I think of George Washington Carver's contribution to it's creation.
I appreciate all that you teach us on how to take care of ourselves ❤
Thank you, Dr always informative❤
Your the only Doctor I have! Thank you Doc!
Happy Sunday Dr. Mandell and everyone 😊❤

I have a tablespoon with an apple as a snack between lunch and dinner ♥️

Dr mandell good afternoon happy Sunday thank you for sharing this video is helpful God bless you and the work of labor have a nice day ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great information, I sit outside with my donkeys every day and we eat peanut butter on saltines, but we eat a lot more than one tablespoon every day. Once a week I'll get celery and put peanut butter on it. We love that the best.
I now make my own peanut butter in my blender , I use unroasted and organic ones. My husband is 96 years old , he has eaten peanuts all his life.. He is smart as a tac and still does his own taxes, although they are complicated due to his excellent investments. He is amazing !
Fair play
zThis is wonderful news! So many people are knocking it. I buy peanut butter with roasted peanuts that's all.
Thank you Dr. Mandell for another awesome, very informative, and beneficial video!! Organic peanut butter is an absolute staple in my diet every day for two meals! Your the best Dr. Mandell!! ♥️♥️♥️

Dr.Mandell you are so kind and every day you give us good information for our health. God bless you 🙏🏻 ❤️
Amazing video my dear friend ❤️❤️🙏
Sounds good I'm going to try this thank you
I use it as a dip for grapes and it's like having a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich without the high sugar bread. Works great with apples too.
Grapes are full of sugar. U defeat the benefits
The fiber in the grapes and the peanut butter slow the sugar spike down which is my goal. Since I don't eat much sugar any way, I don't think it will matter much.@@celticmulato2609
@@celticmulato2609sadly, this is so true. I miss grapes so much, but can’t deal with the sugar content. I use celery with my peanut butter😊
Thank you my angel bro. I am an addict of 🥜. Thanks for helping me.
