What are the disadvantages? One of the usual criticisms of hydrogen is the amount of energy required to create it. Also from the diagrams even without the pressurised containers there are a number of large tubular canisters. What are they for and how much do they weigh for a given range?
Maybe with Toyota coming out with this engine, it'll make those companies that have things stored away from buying/stealing the blueprints of hydrogen engines from inventors for over a century now!!! Look at the guy that developed one and drove it from Las Vegas to New York City and only on about 24 gallons of water, back in the 80s early 90s
A great deal of fluff telling us how we spilt water to make hydrogen and oxygen but to split water it requires power so it comes from somewhere not told

When do they go into production and then for sale?
Yes! I can't wait for this!
One problem if the grounding rod brakes it goes boom big BOOM
I hope it works I would buy one and use it
why not just try to recreate something like Stan Meyer's water-powered engine?
Not only him there are other who are disappeared from circulation with their idea
@@carlomartin6156 sadly, yes. It's progress denied.
hydrogen is water, hydrogen is a DEUTERIUM (heavy water) that is not a trending technology currently
Never did explain how to get more energy from burning Hydrogen than producing hydrogen.
Toyota still can't accept that electric cars are making a hit in the market...
Very good. Thanks.
GOOD
This is not even remotely explained in terms of energy. Poor video. (Sorry, but I'm a chemist)
Drill baby drill😅
