When you took the ferry from Road Town to Virgin Gorda where did you park your car? Is there a fee to park in a lot?
The houses on the hill on the opposite bank seem to have been painted on them, so wonderful! The cactus there is so tall!
I noticed that there were very few tourists there, and I wanted to complain about the silly rule of not being able to swim,
but I finally understood after seeing the waves and your explanation! Could that stone be a fossil of a whale? It really looks like a whale!

Great video. I snorkeled at the Baths in July of 1970 during some of my Peace Corps training on the tiny island of LIttle Thatch Cay.

This was the more picturesque of the two B.V. Islands I think. The abundant cacti mixed in with the tropical greenery and the rounded boulders made it stand out.
St. Thomas in the U.S.V.I is likely going to be the most crowed and most touristy if you make it there. Charlotte Amalie is where you see a handful of cruise ships from Miami at any given time.
Hi! I was in Tortola back in March, and yes! I was one of 5200 passengers on one of * those* cruise ships ( which i expected to hate but in the end, quite enjoyed it). We arrived on the one rainy day of our 2 week cruise around the Eastern Caribbean, so decided against going on a shore excursion to Virgin Gorda. Instead we caught a cab to Brewers Bay on the main island..which was gorgeous once the sun came out! Really liked Tortola but my favourite island of the cruise was St Lucia... you guys should check it out... paradise...🏝️

It’s been 20 years since I was at the Baths and your video is the first time I’ve seen a picture of it since then. We jumped off one of those boulders into the blue Caribbean at the end of our hike, persuaded to do it by our snorkeling trip captain. He took a group of 10 of us around various islands of the BVI to do snorkeling in different spots - picked us up on St. John - the whole day was just awesome. Looking forward to your next BVI video(s). Geez, the prices of meals though - we wound up going to grocery stores each of the times we’ve been there to try to control the costs a little. Worth it though.
yeah we would at least have dinner at home everyday because of the costs lol
I really liked the island of Tortora. The landscapes are very spectacular and really unique. There is certainly beautiful landscape photography to do all around this island. Take care!

Looks gorgeous..how i miss the beach & sunshine. Ppl from N. America visit affordable all inclusive resorts on cuba, dominican and jamaica that are more affordable..these other islands you are touring are pricey from Canada & USA.Times are financially tough for a lot of ppl..so yeah your current island is vacant..lol! Stunning place though!

The Bath and Devil's bay are nice but the water is too rough for swimming. Other beaches on the island are different. I was staying on the Little Dix Bay resort and the beach was always calm. You could bring your beach chair inside the water and enjoy the sun.

I went to Virgin Gorda Baths as a teen and have traveled extensively throughout my life,I think Virgin Gorda is the most beautiful places I have ever been❤.The BVI's are my favorite.😊

Wife and I travelled Virgin Islands and all the islands down to souther America. We loved both the us and nit vi. Thanks for bringing back such fond memories as lost wife last year to Covid etc.
They weren’t crowded any of the 55 or 6 times we visited as well other than st Thomas .exclusive high cost keeps crowds down I suppose and maybe no monster cruise ships just small ones.
Wow big ships now vs our 5 or 6 times visiting. Our fav was St. John in us vi

Try coming down from the Top of the Baths, at night, in the rain. Yep, did that, and then the dinghy wouldn't start.
The baths beach area sure is a fun place, well thought out with the various stairs, plus that rope railing attached to the rock. . . :>/
Love Virgin Gorda! Thank you for showing such a great video of The Baths. There is much more to see and do in Virgin Gorda and it would have been nice to explore Savannah Bay, Leverick Bay, and the trail around Biras Creek. You definitely have to go back to VG!

The cruise ship crowd is typically pretty random. You know there are cruzeiros in town when suddenly you start seeing a lot of body-positive people around you swarming everything.

The people on Virgin Gorda are fortunate. They have Richard Branson to chip in after a hurricane. Other Caribbean islands are less fortunate.

i have been wanting to visit tortola and the baths at virgin gorda do you know if there is an easy path for those who dont want to go through the rocks like a straight path to the beach
Pretty sure you should be able to enter through the path that we took to leave the beach at the end, only a 2-3 minute walk

St. John/Thomas yes but not Croix, it's a bit out of the way for our quick trip
