I think that the way you paint the face and skin is the way that each person's individuality is most expressed in miniature painting. It's really fun to see the different ways people paint faces, both those who are good at it and those who are about to become good at it.
Great video guys, lovely and easy to follow along steps with some awesome results. Also great to see the presenters back in video and also comments open again, thanks for listening to the community and again for the great content! :)
really love the tutorial for the dark skin, but what paints would I need if I wanted to do even darker skin? the Salamanders for example are described as having onyx coloured skin
ooooh nice, these look great, need to get me some kislev flesh for that warmer en better looking pale skin. So far my recipse for pale skin is rakarth, thinned down wash of guilimen flesh and soft highlight with cadian fleshtone. its kinda fidly and the results changes from face to face. so I will defintly try these.
Thanks! Oh and I followed your tutorial and today I'm actually really pleased with the progress I've made painting faces. Before I found it impossible but now my results are pretty decent 😊
Painting faces had always been a difficult task - especially for me.
Many thanks to you folks for making that job easier for me to follow through. :)

Been looking for a darker skin tone for my word bearers forever and that tan is perfect
Gorgeous! All 3 looked beautiful.
Nice to see the presenters; it really makes me more engaged. Btw, these videos are really helpful. Great job guys!
Loved the video, now it would be great to see something similar but for chaos/nurgle skins
This is very helpful, I'm excited to try these on my Space Marines.

Day 17 of asking for primaris Tyberos
God's speed You magnificent Bastard.
DIY? It's hardly a big job.
I'd love a rejig of Badab war. I reckon GW knows it's such a goldmine of fantastic events and chapters.
Do it yourself? It’s hardly a complex conversion of the existing terminator captain
@@CMTechnicait’s almost like they want an official model that they don’t have to butcher to look like how they want 😱
Absolutely wonderful tutorial!
Thank you for this Will be helpful for painting my cadian shock troops ❤
What a handsome man
Please hold the frames for the paints list longer. It goes by so fast I have to use the slow playback speed so I can pause it in time to see it all.
Nice I'm glad this video exists cause painting skin was the number one thing I was way too intimidated to do 😁
More raven guard love please
Very useful 👍
question: how long should a layer be left to dry before adding on another layer?
Very cool, I wish I have time to paint.
Wonderful tutorial! I lesrned s lot!
Love the video! But why oh why is the sprue part still on the lady’s crossbow? It’s triggering me!
Now I just need to make the eyes not look weird...

What about genestealer cult skintone?
Totally new to Warhammer, it's a dumb question but what is the first figure called please?
In the video, Hendrick the Silver Wolf. In the thumbnail, Rostus Oxenhammer. They're in the Blacktalons: www.warhammer.com/shop/the-blacktalons-2023

Where Bugman's Glow??
Is there any chance y'all can add captions to these?
done.
Is there a contrast painting version for skins?
You can see a few guides if you search 'contrast' across our channel, but they're not in the same style as this.
@@officialwarhammer Thank you, and it would be nice to see how contrast paints on skins are made in a video style like this one.
Nice👍🏾
Wait, faces in videos and comments are back? When did this happen? Wish they'd make up their minds.
Voiceover is a little quiet on this one
oh, new presenter? Who's this?
