Hi Nancy 😊 Enjoy your podcasts. Appreciate you sharing tips & tricks which are very helpful. It was nice getting a look around the shop. Hoping to make a day trip this fall to visit from Indian Orchard, MA..
Such helpful tips and beautiful shop. I love visiting and buying your yarn when I'm in the area. This video makes me want to get in the car and come up from New York right now!
I love Agnes’ sweater knitted in Millstone Tweed. Could you tell me what pattern she used and what color of the yarn she used? So warm and cozy looking as fall is giving us temperatures in the 40’s at night here.
I love your podcast Nancy. Your tips for knitting are great and very helpful. I have been using the weaving technique you showed a few weeks ago-amazing. Thank you so much. ❤
Robins daughter and girlfriend will be needing those gifts now in some areas of England as it’s not exactly warm (here in Wales it’s more like winter than Summer).
Thanks for your question. I block sweaters in the round by folding them, washing, toweling and stretching on a blocking mat to dimensions. I will ask Nancy to follow up with a more in depth answer on one of her upcoming podcasts.
Thanks for asking. Nancy's Elton is Isager Alpaca 2 fingering combined with the Isager silk mohair. We have loads of gorgeous fingerings though and some beautiful new silk-mohairs as well- check them out! blacksheepknitting.com/products/Lace-c165133509
I have knit a Ranunculus using a suri and a fingering. I knit on US 8 needle for a denser fabric with long sleeves and I love it. I have not knit a Love Note as the lace is too open for me and I don't like to have to wear something under my sweaters for modesty. Personal feelings about how I like to wear my knits. I have seen many beautiful yarn choices for both patterns. Are you still carrying Miss Babs or was the blue mohair left over from the trunk show?
Absolutely true which is one reason why the pattern is so great and versatile. The Miss Babs silk mohair I used for mine is indeed from our past trunk show. Another coming up for yarn crawl end of the month.
The white yarn is a nubbly cotton I bought at a yarn show in Los Angeles that we don't carry. As a reasonable facsimile, I would use either the Juniper moon farms Zooey cotton-linen, or the sandness yarn line. Both would be lovely as light weight tees in Ranunculus. I knit mine small, so it's more tee shirt fitting.
@@blacksheepknitting7905 The yarn looks like it would be lovely to work with. I have both Juniper Moon Farm yarn and I have Sandnes Garn but in different weights. I will keep those in mind when I shop next. Thank you so much for your quick response! Look forward to watching your next episode! Have a wonderful day!

Yes would love a look at some multiple gauge type yarns to have a look!

Nancy, lovely video. The kits and the bag are fantastic.
I need your help. How do you block a sweater knitted in the round? Thanks in advance.

Do you have good yarn and kit for crochet.
Great yarns, but right now no crochet specific kits. We'll think about that.
Loved your Elton cardigan! What yarns did you use & do you sell them?
