Ian, you have inspired me through your videos to better myself by getting out on a bike again. I found your channel maybe 2 months ago, I live in the eden valley area. I have very much enjoyed watching so many of your videos (and yet so many still to watch) as a source of motivation. I love getting out on the bike now and when the weather is terrible I will stick one of your videos on and sit back and enjoy. I can't quite put into words just how much of a difference your videos have made to my life (your book too), but they really have. I even bought myself a camera and started doing some youtube stuff of my own! I hope to see some new content on your channel one day. All the best.
Hi Pasty, what a really nice comment. I'm chuffed to hear you have gotten so much from the book and videos. That's amazing. The Eden Valley is a gorgeous place to live pal. Great for walking and road cycling too. I've been doing a few other things this year but aim to start getting back on the mountain bike eventually. Might see you out there sometime!
@@Lakedistrictrider I truly am blessed with having the Eden Valley on my doorstep! It's boggy as hell on the tops but it's still great riding. I do hope you're doing well, Ian, all the best fella.
Looking amazing nice trail love to do a route like this but not familiar with the area but would try it thanks for the content watch you often thanks buddy
Used the route on Sunday Ian, set off from Grasmere and had a blast but not sure the legs felt the same leaving Red Bank climb till the end. Thanks again 🙂
An old favorite route of mine with a few twists nr Hodge Close. You have me lost in places, so will check the OS for your version.
