Hi Ian my wife has ordered your book for me for Christmas can't wait to try out some of the routes, I especially like the look of this one seen you've got a link for strava on this one which is very much appreciated definitely one for next year, thanks 👍
Hi Mark, many thanks to your wife for ordering and hope you enjoy the book. This particular route doesn't fall in either of my guidebooks. It's a bit out of scope for the Lakes or the Dales but hope you can piece it together from the Strava details. If you are struggling get in touch via linkedin or twitter and I will see if I can share a map
I’ve been watching your channel for a while and enjoying it and was surprised you went through my village (Gamblesby, actually pronounced ‘gammalsby’ meaning old settlement) and I saw my house! Great video.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment, and glad you enjoy the videos. You live in a lovely part of the world. Eden is gorgeous. Sorry about the mispronunciation 😀
I was going to do a similar route in my 2 weeks off in the summer but never got round to it, my start point was going to be where the old cafe used to be at the top.
Cracking video Ian. I believe the stone circle is known as Long Meg and her Daughters.
Hi Mick, ah yes, I should have checked that. Got sisters in my head for some reason!
Beautiful trail Ian thanks mate.
Thanks 👍
Looks like a good route & another nice video dude 👍
Cheers dude, yeah I enjoyed it. Nice part of the world

Good looking route, I've got both your books, did the Tour of Pen-y-gent recently on a gravel bike - great route
Hey, thanks for getting the books. Hope you like them. Good going doing that route on a gravel bike. Gets pretty rough in places 👍

I enjoyed it mate. A nice xc ride. Lots of parking at the top, though means finishing the ride on a climb 👍
