I own a Grasshopper 900 big block with 72" deck. Now I want a smaller mid mount to add to my fleet. Grasshopper mowers are top notch and they stand behind their product.
Everything he said is true, they do look well built. I have one but the engine has failed and one of the hydraulic pumps and all with in 80hours. I may just have a bad one or I don't know. Anyway the real problem with Grasshopper comes with warranty and service. If you have to take it in for warranty repairs be prepared to be down for a while (possibly 3-4 weeks even for simple fixes). If you are in the mowing business i know this would be a business killer. Just my opinion.
That's why you are down for weeks. You're not a commercial client. Most dealers for guys like us keep loaner mowers or demo units that we can use til they can fix us up
@@chaseiv58 He's yanking your chain.....just bought a 2019 52" 226V-G4 - out the door cash price with folding rops and duraflex front forks 7800.00. All around best mower (200 series) in this weight/price point. Who else puts ZT4400 hydros in a 1K weight and under ZTR mower...…..let me save your the research...….nobody
@@ronda33 how are you liking the 226v G4? I just looked at this mower and almost bought it. My dealer has Toro as well. The seat comfort was my concern on the grasshopper. How do you feel about the comfort of the grasshopper?
@@kalebblount4889 The seat comfort on this unit is good - not suspension seat good, but somewhere in between. If they would have offered a suspension seat upgrade, I probably would have gotten it. To be honest, like I said in my comment above, I had other major requirements. My property has a real high water table, and I wanted to get the lightest and best "commercial" unit I could get for 8K. No other company I looked at (22 of them) put that much HP and that high grade of hydros in any of their offerings under 1k in weight . Bottom line, if ride comfort is of utmost concern of yours, a suspension seat unit will always have a softer feel than one that doesn't. Hope this helps!
You need glasses. Front rake is greater on the scag. They use three pieces of metal, and it has an adjustable discharge baffle for blowout. None of which are on a grasshopper

They see how you operate the equipment and did not want to loan you one
good video I don't have any grasshopper but it's good to know about them I personally have Exmark
Every other zero turn is a downgrade from Grasshopper.
I HAVE ONE JUST LIKE THAT ONE I LOVE IT,,
I love my Grasshopper but hate not having a breakaway role bar!
shaker LT1350 bring it to a welder and have him make one
That's why you take them off
On your breakaway bar that is where you cut the tree limbs to that height And the problem is solved Lol
Have you ever been abducted by space aliens while cutting grass and then asked them could you cut their grass on their planet ?
This whole Alien Abduction talk is just hoaxes. Aliens only accept voluntary riders.
They are 10 gauge and 7
Yes, 3 gauge is Army Tank thickness.
cant wait for Cat to get in the mower game.
They never will
Ferrish mower has a cat motor in it It's an a 72" cut
why the change from kohler command horizontal to kohler vertical?
Thats a Briggs in the video
Most of the grasshoppers I've seen now days look so much as a generic mower because they took their name off of the mower
How much was that mower?
$1250 new
Wtf how?

That thing must suck on the hills, too high center of gravity...
Tested one out, actually pretty good on the hills. I may end up getting the 335 model.
I have this exact one and mow a pretty steep hill with no problem.
