Yes this is perfect! All the other diys I've seen for this are things that would cost $50-100 to be done in wood, for a CLOSET. I want it to look nicer but am not trying to go broke replacing perfectly good shelves! Thanks for the video great idea
I need to do this. Cute with the baby! TIP: fold the contact paper carrier sheet back only a few inches and adhere it to the edge of one side of the foamboard. Then smooth as you go instead of removing all of it at once and "fighting" the bubbles.
Look at you Mama! So proud of you. I would never have had the gumption to be so creative and productive with a baby in tow. Much admiration. Your hubby is a lucky man. I am not good at crafts or anything, but I am going to try and find the foam boards. Thanks for this great idea!
This is the realest DIY I've ever seen. I've been looking for an idea for my bedroom closet to cover the wire shelves and if you can do this wearing a baby, I think I can maybe handle it! Thank you!
I’m very impressed on how resourceful you are. I love that you accomplish things with what you have. And I’m even more impressed with you doing it while carrying you little loved one.! This was a great video and I’m very thankful for it. You definitely just won a new subscriber! By the way, that looks like about a fourth of an inch thickness, ha ha ha loved that! Finally, just a tip for you when placing the contact paper is starting from the middle and do not remove all the backing and use your spatula from the center outwards while slowly removing the backing paper and this way you don’t end up with any bubbles
This really is very creative! I've seen other videos where wood is used, and it looks nice but i like this method so mych better. Less expensive, and easier. You really are such a good mama, and your hubby is blessed to have you as his wife. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us! May God bless you abundantly❤ ❤❤
Megan, how's have these held up for you? I volunteer for our local community center and Want to help give a facelift to their Merch station, but I definitely don't have a lot of funds to donate off my own too make this project happen. Do you think it would hold up with baskets sliding back and forth a bit?
