- Let's get organized!
I organized my very small bathroom on a budget, so it is more efficient and saves me time. I love the tray method for my makeup. Getting ready in the morning is a breeze now!
Everything was purchased at my local Dollarama. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have an organized home!
Check out my website at: clutterbug.me Pre-order my NEW book for just $11.57 here: amzn.to/2jOhroD
I love purging and then realizing how much more space I have to work with and how much I never really use! That tray is fabulous. I do a similar method in my medicine cabinet with individual dollar store bins.
I had just added "reorganize under bathroom sink" to my To Do List. Perfect timing. Thank you!!!
Enjoying your organizing videos.
I have been purging and organizing my blessed mess. Poor husband is convinced I'm trying to drive him crazy. He will adjust. Bless his heart.
Seriously, it is so much easier to keep the house tidy since I started this binge.
Keep the good stuff coming!🤓
You are a joy - I am so glad I found you! Your tips are great, your home is beautiful and you are funny, genuine and interesting! Love Love Love you!
Enjoy your videos don't know where you get your energy, you go girl
I love the idea of the make-up basket! I have a TON of make-up, I have organized it all, but I still feel I'm digging around every morning for everything, so I think I'm going to try your method for the things I use most. Thanks for the tip. I love your videos, and your sense of humor.
Great job! I also use trays for my makeup and found it is so much more functional than a make up bag for everyday use.
Ohhh yeah....just finished doing this in my washroom. Love little organizing trays
SOOOO glad you shared this video. I have almost the exact bathroom, except you have the fancy mirror. I have the same aggrivating process for getting ready. Dollor store here I come!
I need to definitely try that makeup tray system. Right now i'm using a box that has an acrylic organizer which I hate in it but your system would look much cuter!
I literally just did this in my bathroom the other night! I got clear bins from Dollar Tree to put in my drawer and have one for face (blush, foundation, primer, etc), one for eyes (liner, mascara, tweezers), and one for moisturizers (which I have WAY too much of!). I need to tackle the cleaning items next. I saw another video where the lady used over-the-door hangers with totes to store big stuff like boxes of Q-Tips, tissues, etc. That's on my to-do list, as well. Great video! Glad I found your channel!
Thank you for these ideas!! I have a small bathroom with even LESS storage space than you do. We don't use a lot of stuff, but I still struggle with how to store everything. I'm definitely trying the tray idea for my make-up!!
Your videos are my favorite! Straight to the point, easy for anyone to do, and I have definitely been inspired, thank you!!!
You are freaking awesome. Thank you for all of your videos. Thank you for inspiring me to sort, purge, and organize.
Those diagonal drawers are so cool!
FABulous tips, reoganizing my makeup this weekend. I am tired of searching for my go to products every morning. This wilk be awesome. Thank you.
On a Sunday night--- you should be watching Downton Abbey!
Love all your videos!
Now this is doable. It is neat & organized. You did not spend a week & small fortune repainting your vanity, using silhouette vinyl labels on wallpapered drawer inserts & hand-making origami box lids to coordinate. Not that I don't love that, but really, I'm just trying to keep my head above water!!! You show me that I CAN make a functional difference with a little time & effort. I
I LoVe the Tiny GREEN bins & the rectangular GREEN Bins
I love your videos, duh. But I thought I'd also let you know I love your laugh. It makes me laugh every time. lol
I love your sparkly energy and enthusiasm, love to hear you chat about your latest discoveries about organizing and becoming a domestic goddess. Smile!
I did the tray method over 6 mos ago & guess what? It's still clean & organized! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this system. You will too :)
Love love love the makeup tray system
I just LOVE your LAUGH....and of course your videos
I have all the tools to organize my bathroom just haven't done it yet! I needed the motivation, Thanks!
I have a tiny bathroom too and you have totally inspired me lol, I love the idea of using command strips to hang little baskets, never thought of that before! :)
I'm glad you mentioned throwing expired makeup away. I do and some I throw away every three months if it looks dirty.
Ms you shouldn't say that you are not a hair lady. Your hair is just perfect for you and you do good on your videos. I love lipstick myself and been wearing it sense I was 12 years old and now I'm 49 years old. Keep doing your videos. Some of those containers, I really need to get.
Love your videos, they really inspire and motivate me, you look pretty in this video :)
I like the makeup in a tray system...but I found something I like more.
I had an old, ugly folding table my parents left in my garage. I brought it inside, cleaned it up, and set it in front of one of my bedroom windows. I put a pretty tablecloth on it I bought years ago from T.J. Maxx that was still in the package. I put a placemat on it, where I set my lighted makeup mirror. I set a power strip on it, next to a small bin with my hairdryer and irons. I have a desk organizer where I store lip products and eyeshadows. I put the stuff I use everyday in one specific tray. I had an old plate that I set out to put lotions and perfume on. I was able to fit a rolling 3-drawer organizer (the only thing I actually purchased for this project) under the table. Between the table and my chest of drawers, I keep another rolling drawer organizer, and a smaller drawer organizer on top. I've managed to condense my beauty stuff, medications, back ups, etc. into one area. I no longer stand in front of a bathroom mirror to do my makeup. I sit in front of a window (natural light, or I use the lighted makeup mirror). I LOVE IT!!!
It is sooo much easier to put my makeup on in my bedroom. The mirror isn't fogged up, I'm not sweating from the post-shower humidity and heat, the lighting is more natural, I can sit down, everything is right at hand, etc.
It does look awfully cramped in that corner of my bedroom for now...I may change the layout or get a different table in the future...but I still love not being hunched over a sink trying to see into a foggy mirror and wondering if my makeup and brushes are accumulating germs that thrive in the moisture of a post-shower bathroom.
If you have a corner of your house that isn't occupied, I highly recommend making a vanity area for yourself!!!
Wow, I would like to see it!
Ale Cmr I posted a message to you on my G+ page with pictures; you should get a notification. Let me know if you don't get it and I'll try again.
I hope to be this organised when I'm a mom !!
You should do more videos like these! Very helpful, thank you!
i love your sunday night project, lifeless or not! i think it's therapeutic to purge and organize everything. literally everything. i just want to point out that under the sink storage is a large usable space but disastrous if your sink springs a leak. it would be heartbreaking to ruin your favorite things (including hair dryers) by drowning. I would suggest those tiered racks or shelves with a solid back that's short enough to fit through the door for easy removal but tall and wide enough to keep leaks from splashing into your things. also, keep your baskets raised from the bottom in case the leak turns into a flood before you notice it. :)
Very inspiring) Going to go and clean up my bathroom right now! My bathroom say thank you to you))))
LOVE LOVE LOVE the green baskets! See what you have when you are organized...MORE space to do more shopping! LOL I also have tiny bathroom in our RV. Maybe I'll do a bathroom video :-) Great videos that's 4 sharing.
+RVing LiveThe Dream Thanks for watching!
Great ideas! Must go organize my bathroom now!
LOVE the makeup basket. I'm borrowing that idea. Thanks:))
my bathroom is the same size! I will certainly try that.
Yeah i also store ny makeup in makeup bags abd digging to find the same itens every day doesnt make sense. Thank you. Your are genious!
Love the make up tray! I can never get containers to fit so nicely inside of each like you did :(
Wow looks good I love it but where do u keep ur cleaning products n toilet paper etc
Love it, where do you put your extra shampoo/conditioner/soap stuff like that?
love it! always so happy to see your posts!
How is this working 6 months later for your makeup? I just took everything out of my linen closet and bathroom sink cabinet in hopes of organizing but can't decide how to put it back!
OMG you are so cute! I LOVE that makeup in a tray system! TFS luv! ♥ dig
Yes there is a lot of space .. We think it is small.. Once we organize them we feel wow.. So much is left .. I had the Same feel after I organized my bathroom sink
Love the tray system for the make-up! What do you do with clean towels, washcloths, and that sort of thing and extra toilet paper? I'm trying to figure out how to organize my bathroom right now and that's one of the things that I'm trying to figure out and didn't notice any in your video. You are cute as a clutterbug, and your nose is adorable on you. I know, though, I have kinda the same shape nose only a little wider and flatter, so I get it, but be kind to yourself, you're beautiful!
Thanks for sharing these great tips/ideas!
Small?! This is the same sized bathroom I share with my husband and two children. You should be grateful for how blessed you are to have a master bath like this.
You look Great Cass!!!
Love how your organize.
Your hair looks great!
Love this one, thanks so much. I have a small bathroom as well and it drives me crazy! You should do a makeup and hair video lol.. I know its not your thing, but I really like your makeup and hair.
love LoVE LOVE your videos! Thank you so much. You did a great job!
love it !!!! thanks for the ideas best wishes for you and yours ,,,,keep up the good work!!!
Love it! 😆 Thank you for the inspiration 👍
@organizedclutterbug you look pretty with your hair and makeup done
Love this video! Have a Blessed day!
Awesome tips! Love this!
Love your videos! I recently figured out to use one of those 'fake' book compartments for my everyday makeup to live in on my vanity table. Even tho I hardly use them. Tsk tsk tsk! I found myself smiling during this one. ;-)
Love your videos the tips are genius glad I found
i just get so excited when u post videos and tips.. Thanks.. :)
Hi there - great job! Looks good and I can relate to organising at crazy times as I am mum to two littluns! I just had a thought about your two cupboards above the basin - would one of those fabric/plastic pocket holder thingies (overthedoorshoe/makeupholderthingies - hopefully you get what I'm talking about!).. work if you cut one to fit and hung it in cupboards - it would make use of more vertical space?? Wow that took a lot to get that out haha! Anyway love your videos. Have a great night! Catherine (Australia)) :)
Looks great
You know what works better than contact paper? Linoleum. U buy a rement roll fr home depot and cut that to size and shape. It stays in place and is so much easier to clean. I did my linen clost with it. Despite my best efforts it wouldn't stay flat cause I didn't give it enough time to flatten out. So I used a staple gun on the edges. I'm sure you could use gotilla tape or dress up the edges with designer duct tape and tape it to the wall. Carpet tape also would work pretty good I think. If you don't adhere it down you could just pull it out to clean it . I did this to my pot and pan cupboard and linen closet
Wow! I would never think of that! I suppose you might want something prettier as a drawer liner or something, but that's great for heavy duty shelves. I might just try that under my bathroom counter! :)
Good for pot and drawer or cupboard. It comes in pretty patters sometimes. I have even used stick on vinyl tiles. I covered the top of an ugly bar down in our basement with tiles and cvered the edges with moulding. Now it looks like wood.
good job! Both you and your personality are cute as a button!
Love it! Thank you
i allways think you have a really organized home and then i'm allways surprised that you can finde another room/drawer/cabinet... to reorganize. how big is your house :D :D :D?
btw love your videos!
Loooovee it!!!!!!
just susccribed! you earned it girl! you are amazing!
What's sad is that my one-bedroom-apartment bathroom is actually smaller. I do have a shower/tub in there, but I have just one large space under the sink (not as spacious as yours) and no drawers nor any storage on the walls. :(
I do have some vertical space though, so I'm going to try a couple of tips I saw on this video. Thank you for posting.
Use walls to storage, buy simple shelves, single o double. Enjoy what you have, it's certainly much more compared to what other people have. Hugs.:)
Good job!
You are great!!! Thanks for sharing :)
My bathroom is just this size!!
I have the same shelf paper liner :)
My bathroom has NO drawers or nothing now what do i do????
Any
Ideas?????
love your vids
Good work thinx
You are so great with organizing! But seriously now my bathroom is smaller! Kid you not. But the sink is a pedestal one with NO drawers, and only space behind mirror. Sucks :P
What can I do with expired products? I don’t think I should put all of them down the drain.🤷🏽♀️
Add a whole new shelf of space; That is done by getting the Diva Cup for menstrual cycles. Then you don't need the other products, better for your body and the environment :)
What if you have NO storage in a master bath just slightly smaller than yours?? On a budget... :/ love your vids!
My master bath is like the same size, if not even smaller. I just let my husband have that bathroom. It's too small for all my products. I'm a product junkie. So, the main bath is mine.
You so funny....love what u did..:)
Im an OB girl too,.. applicators suck! (impo)
🤗
Great idea, but the humidity in bathrooms from the shower, sinks and plumbing make it a terrible place to keep makeup or medicine. Those products will expire faster.
You inspired me to do mine this weekend! I hope you don't mind I linked to you on my video.
you're funny - my bathroom is even smaller than yours, and my sink has no counter space, but I will try to figure something out too
Great video. I love your nose! ;) Thanks for sharing.
Um wow. Ok.
Don't worry I do the same you do and I do not have a life either.... Lol
My walk in closet is smaller!!
Perfection is overrated. You have a system in place and there is always tweaking that needs to be done. ;)
You are so sweet and funny love your videos
I dont know if you watch pinksofoxy from hawaii she makes inspirational videos as well
Thumbs up!! TFS!! :)
Your nose is cute - stop hating it. In fact, you are cute. You have a very pleasing personality. Some of the videos I try to watch, forgive me but the host has the personality of a dial tone and I just can't do it, no matter how good the information. Your information is good too! I especially admire your coming from a slob to a neatnik. That is the leopard changing spots and it is something to crow about.
Just a tip...Most medicine should be stored at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees, and kept away from moisture. Because the bathroom is prone to high temperatures and humidity, it is a poor place to keep drugs.
