- 6 Queen Songs Piano Cover Public in #OneTake performed as a set at St Pancras International. This was a little ambitious - just before the final Arsenal home game in May - I planned to perform a set of Queen songs - all in a row, one take - no stopping. It's a long session - and it even meant someone missed his train because he wanted to watch!
The individual videos have been posted already, but I was asked and I thought it would be good to share the whole session to show what it took. So here it is in One Take - 6 Queen songs and Hallelujah as an encore. Actually started with my own composition as a warmup, and then did:

How do those people keep walking by, its a damn free concert in front of you, front row seats. This kid is amazing id miss all the trains to watch him play
Poor souls are so busy in their everyday lives, they don't realize they are passing a FUTURE TALENTED PERFORMER in their paths and they are not Queen fans!

I just discovered this video in 2024 - I got goosebumps during Hallelujah when the crowd started singing with you. We need more of this in the world. Thank you for this - it shows a beautiful side of humanity!

To have that level of talent at 12 years old is outstanding, his parents must be very proud…….these songs are 30 years older than he when he was born!!! I have admiration for anyone who can play the piano…..This young boy is exceptional…..

I love this performance !
He plays the music perfectly. But what is most outstanding is he feels the real emotion of the song and it's meaning. Then put's that emotion into what he plays. That is the difference between a performer and an artist.
You've nailed it. ANYONE can play Queen's music, but how many can feel what the words express in those songs and then convey them to an audience? He did this so well!

I could go on about how talented you are but what is more important is how YOU make your audience FEEL. I am a 45 year old life long, 4th generation musician. Music truly is in my blood. My fondest memories aren't of touring, the big stages, the awards or any of the perks of hard hard work. It is of staying up all night with my Dad (he was also a musician - still on radio) learning about music history, the artists, the producers and how things just all came together. My music mentor, teacher, my muse, lost her life to cancer 2 weeks before my Dad lost his life to cancer. I was destroyed. My home is silent. Freddie Mercury was one of my biggest influences as a rock singer. So, especially listening to Queen after such an inimitable pair of losses was just impossible. Today, listening to your playing has made music just a little more ok for me to handle. Thank you for that. Love Of My Life stings so bad because it feels like it channels my grieving mother's pain. That is an aweful lot of power you have young man! Congratulations for being so moving , not something everyone can do! That always was one of my most favorites of Queens though. Anyway, for a moment, you GAVE me a moment of enjoyment again. Took away some of the hurt and made music ok in my life again. How you make someone feel is so important and goes under rated these days. Thank you, so graciously, for that moment in time today. Blessings and love ❤️ from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

When he was playing bohemian rhapsody, I automatically started to sing the song. Odd thing is, I’ve never sang a Queen song in my 40 years as a musician and singer. Don’t get me wrong, I love Queen and their music it but I’ve just never played it. That kid just wound me up with his talent…lol.

As a very busy mother I wasn't listening to the sounds around me just focused on what instill had to do and with me was my 4 year old son. And we came into a large building and suddenly he had disappeared, I looked around and he was gone...my heart stopped my throat constricted and I looked everywhere only not the church...where classical music was played on a violin and a piano...and I saw more and more people stopping there looking in..so I ran there and looked inside...and in the middle of a sea of old people stood my little son admiring and dead quiet ( he stood never still let alone be quiet) he had been there all that time..and it was my son that drew the crowd Who THEN finally paid attention to the musicians...they were incredible and it was a teaching moment. So from then on wherever we went and if we heard a musician we would stand still and admire their work and love of music
Your story of your son disappearing touches me ~ @Ainaes-Feline ~ My dad, unable to any longer care for my mom, was situating my mother's room in a facility just a mile from his home. When he looked up, she was gone...after much searching, he found my mother, (who had stopped talking & had dementia, ) standing happily and completed focused, by someone playing piano and singing. I spent our last years together, sitting on the floor, looking into her cast down eyes before her then stooped over shoulders...holding her hands and singing on and on, as she nodded & brightened to varying degrees of recognition & delight. Rest well Mama ~

Cole chose the best solo as his last piece. Giving God praise for His gift to him. And he even sang. Its good to shed a tear and I did. Thank you Cole. You touched 9 million hearts. Youve inspired me. Tomorrow Im expecting my new Yamaha 88-keys keyboard. I don't think Ill be able to play like you but Ill let what humble music I can come up with make God and His angels smile and maybe they might even laugh because Im almost 70. Thats what your inspiration has done to old folks like me.

@@onaelleuscycillius352 Ok. I can 'play' Queen's music too. So can lots of people. However, it's the WAY one plays, the emotion, feeling and skill one puts into it which makes all the difference, as well as the way one arranges the original music (it's easy to 'copy', but far harder to create your own version). Perhaps you can play 'as well as' Cole? If so, then start your own youtube channel and post your offerings for the World to see. I promise to watch. :)

I'm an ear player and absolutely love seeing another get their due 'props'! I play keyboards (though not a fraction as well as Cole) and chromatic harmonica, but Cole simply blows MY abilities out of the water. He's light-years ahead of anything I can do. I can only sit and watch (and rock and sing along) in absolute admiration. This is NOT easy music to arrange/duplicate/make sound great. I've heard other versions and very few people can sit down at a piano and do what he did here. Fantastic!

As a Gen Z (2003) I think every generation can appreciate their music. It’s almost like Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi. You can’t deny it’s good and it will always be good. I would’ve kill to see Queen and Freddy live once.

Hallelujah is one of my all-time favorite songs and the way he sang it in combination with playing it was so moving it was breathtaking! And when the crowd joined in to sing the chorus I got chills. Such a beautiful moment of sharing love for music and harmony between fellow human beings. ❤️🔥
I'm glad to hear it wasn't just me who heard the "crowd" or angels singing the chorus of Hallelujah. It was incredibly sweet watching that tall lady filming him for his entire concert and watching her entire body vibrate with energy as she took in how great Cole was and the playing of a 12 year old kid. Watching her shake her head in disbelief at some of his playing and the big hug she gave him at the end.
This kid can certainly play the piano. And appreciates good music. This boy’s got great taste in music.

I was amazed by how well you played every Queen song..I have to admit I cried when you played hallelujah because you got strangers to sing with you plus that song just gets to me. That is a child prodigy if I ever saw one. No doubt he has spent a lot of time practicing on his piano and it shows. It is hard enough to play those songs with sheet music and he played all of those song's very well without. Queen would be proud.

A young man pays tribute to a god of rock and roll in a genre Freddie himself admired -- and he brings so many worlds together. He even plays those intricate harmonies that all Queen fans love. His father is the most touching thing about this. He obviously loves his kid from a deep place of basic goodness. Even if we're not as lucky to receive (or remember) such loving kindness from our own parents or loved ones' it's about seeing the possibility within humanity that matters. After all, we are all human. Blessings.
Refreshing to see him watching and not through a screen (although someone is clearly there to record it)...people never enjoy the moment first hand anymore.
My dad also loves me this way but we can't talk to each other without such awkwardness. We had so many fights throughout my adolescence but deep down I still love him. It's good to see that Cole's dad supports him though

Public pianos are usually a bit out of tune and sometimes a lot! I like it though as it is like they have their own accents and personalities. Makes them a little special I think.

I was in awe from the first tinkling of the ivories. Not only did I better appreciate the brilliance of Queen’s music, but I applaud Cole’s dedication and talent! When he played Hallelujah and then started singing it brought tears to my eyes. I also congratulate his parents for their fostering of his immense talent. I wonder if those standing around knew that he was actually singing “Praise Jah”, which is the short form of God’s name Jehovah? Yes, praise Jah for embedding such talents in human hearts and minds! 😊

Freddie must be watching from heaven. I didn’t discover Queen music until much later in life. My granddaughter introduced me. I sat on the patio mesmerized. I now watch his videos and concerts daily. I was so busy working and raising our children that now I can savor the music. You can tell their are a lot of fans standing listening.
Cole is amazing. I love watching these videos. His skill and passion come through so vividly. Just so incredible to see such command of an instrument as great as a piano. Not to mention being able to play with strangers milling around! Fantastic!

I just kept seeing Adam Lambert in his audition for AI in my minds eye as this talented young man played….. I’m so sorry I never took lessons even though one of my lifetime dreams was to own a piano, and finally I did own one, but never l learned to play.
