I think it would’ve been a lot cooler if this was something like a “Fennec Shand” (sp?) origin story or something like that. Showing her growing up and learning to be a bounty hunter or smuggler of some type. It would tie into Mando and to BoBF also in a small way that would eventually lead to her getting involved with Mando and with Boba.

Honestly doesn’t look like her or nearly as pretty, but everyone was screaming at the top their lungs how ugly she is in game… but she’s really not… I can see that if all you’re seeing is her terrible haircut. But… not what she was made out to be by the interchads out there.

I've actually started playing it and in my opinion its not too bad I'm actually enjoying it.
I miss when games had to meet a certain criteria of quality to be released. Nowadays, games can be released in a semi-unplayable state with an up charge of over $100.
So then you don't buy them, and play older, better games.
Companies do it that way because people buy them that way.

Graphics aside, imagine if you could play this game as a character like Lando or Han. The ways you could try and get out of trouble using pure charisma, sweet talking, manipulation, etc would be more fun, I think. It's not often you see charisma-heavy characters in games and this is one where it could work well.
the game supposedly has a "fast talk" ability but the problem is this character has no charisma and the writers seemed to miss the fact that the "con" in con artist stands for "confidence" which this character has none of that either.
Due to the timeline there's no way playing as Lando or Han would make sense. Lando is or should be on his way to Tatooine to start plotting to rescue Han so him as a playable character in this wouldn't work and Han's in Frozen Carbonite. Either way having new characters isn't a bad thing. SW fans confuse me sometimes lol.

Gotta love how within the first hour of gameplay all the story gives us is that this main character girl can’t steal for shot, everytime she does she pisses someone off and has a bounty on her head, she fails 99% of the time, and has crashed the only thing she ever stole successfully.

Man, Star Wars Galaxies was so amazing. When they first let people find holocrons and grind to become Jedi. There were MAYBE 3 in the entire game for like a year. You could become a bounty hunter and literally hunt Jedi. I remember I was at a random far out star port waiting for a shuttle, just me and a random Zabrak. Dude ignites his lightsabre and 1 shots me. I still have the video on an old computer. What an amazing game. Played it for a few years after SOE shut it down. Someone ran a private server that thrived years after they shut it down.

This defiantly the best game I’ve played in a long time
I don't mind the concept of the game. Not every Star Wars game, movie or series need to be about jedi for me. What keeps me on the fence of this game is price, computer requirements and the avatar.

Current star wars ppl don’t even pay attention to details like how aliens would talk with a wide as mouth or things obstructing their speech due to anatomy, they wouldn’t all talk like a regular human. Some of them just sound like they’re lines were done in post (adr)

Custom character would have probably sold this for me, even with the other quirks. I can make almost any game work for me if I can roleplay my character the way I want to
I miss the SW theme blaring out over the intro text crawl. It used to really make the games feel like SW and not just a novelty wrapper.
Same type of braindead energy that made people stand up and clap in the movie theatre for the sequel trilogy. As long as they get the opening crawl they will turn into a bunch of seals.

Which helps with both immersion and connecting to the movies. Its a part of the movies. It isnt even a member berry thing, grow up lmfao

That's the biggest failure to Disney Star Wars. The music was the most powerful character in the franchise and they took that away. Mando season 1 did a fun job of making their own twist. But it ended there.

You can tell this was made by ubisoft. Its basically Assassins Creed gameplay modified for star wars from what Ive seen so far in this video. Hence, the loading times. Although the most recent assassins had pretty good loading times
Gone are the days where we’d have games with the story and dialogue as Mass Effect or KOTOR
The entertainment industry has demonstrated that they don’t have writers capable of these types of stories.

I looked at Gamer’s Little Playground’s gameplay and turns out when you’re caught & waiting for them, you have to shoot them before they can reach you to avoid getting caught. The visuals & gameplay also look & work much better using a game console. Also, your Yoda & Anakin impressions are AWESOME!
I'm enjoying the game, personally. Taking my time, reading the lore, enjoying the side convos, it's been fun.
At this point SW Theory is complaining because he didn’t like the trailer and has kept in a bad mood after acolyte (which was pretty bad). The game is great though. And theory complaining about the loading is hilarious given it’s the same amount of loading time as the 2 Jedi games.
He's turned into another hate train rider, even if the game is good he's gona hold a sourer face just to fit in with the in crowd.
