Printed parts look REALLY good from what I see. I have a set for the 2.4 but havent gotten it together yet in order to build but the 0.1 is definitely on the todo list
I have managed to build 3 unsuccessful printers and also have a ender 3 pro which I managed to make it work finally after having it for a year. Watching your video I am really tempted to build this printer 😁 keep up the good work. An afterthought, what would it take to build this printer with a 220x220 build plate (because I have one from my unsuccessful printer builds) and with 20x20 alluminium sections because I also have them already? Your advise would be greatly helpful. Thanks a ton from India 😀
Good work! That was the entire point of the reprap project. It will be an amazing future when getting a printer or an even better/bigger printer is nothing more than print time on a printer......robot army here we come!
My only printer is my 5 year old Prusa MK2S... I'm' very interested in the Prusa XL but Voron is coming in tied for favor. Only thing I see is that this is one HULLUVA build taking I'll bet 3-4 days? Iin any case great vid, good music choices and this has been worth while 100%!
Thank you for your support! In fact, I printed the parts for my Voron 2.4 (which I used to build this v0.1) with a Ender 3, so I think your Prusa will do the job!
Did you print the 2020 profiles or are those extruded aluminum? The printer seems a lot more rigid than a Snappy, but I've never seen aluminum 2020 with the ends anodized or painted...
No, the extrusion would have come with the kit. Anodising the cuts is time consuming and not seen on products where cost is a factor , but with a $500 kit I would certainly expect higher quality
@@tonkatoy200 ...somehow I watched this three times without seeing the shipment box. As for your other point, I *wish* $500+ 3D printers came with the ends finished.... *Glares at CR10-S5*
This is a really underrated video!
Absolutely underrated - awesome video!

0:38 REALLY GOOD
Thanks for making this Video! (Was to absorbed to film my build) Now i can show the process to my friends who are interested :)
0:38 rough looking prints, but at least you're candid.
It's because the slope is not steep enough. Bad model
@@REDxFROG In such case, adjust the layer height.
I'm going to do the exact same thing the other way around😋
I have a Voron V0.1 and started to print the parts for a Voron V2.4 today

Nice video and editing!!!
Awesome job! Keep it up 😎

Are you running the stepper drivers in spreadcycle?
Great vid I am building mine over Xmas printing the parts now on my little QIDI - I wish I had a 2.4 to print them! :D
Awesome video and 3d printer👍👍
Nice. Would you release that camera mount? Regards
Here it is! drive.google.com/file/d/1k6V1T7hjaGgVis37yO1B7iP2UE7zskPe/view?usp=sharing
@@craftedbyjz Thanks a lot! Will print it asap.
Was all the parts self sourced or did you buy a kit?
Nice video! where do you get your camera mount?
Here is the STL file for the mount: drive.google.com/file/d/1k6V1T7hjaGgVis37yO1B7iP2UE7zskPe/view?usp=sharing
@@craftedbyjz thank you !:))
How does it work. When I covered some of the skirts with insulation my z stepper overheated.
How did you achieve the surface finish at 0:38? Is it fuzzy skin?
I’m using a frosted print bed, which technically should give better surface adhesion to certain materials
Great video
So underrated

They are anodized yes. They are aluminium and come with the kit. Btw its 1515 extrusion not 2020
amazing video!!!
Very cool! What was the cost for non-printed parts (rails, extrusions, fans, psu, etc)?
It costs around $500:)
@@craftedbyjz Ah ok...
I'll just grab the Formbot kit.
Great video build !
Nice 👍What is the name of the software you designed with?
solidworks
what was the price?:)
what do i have to do to have you build me one :D
Can you tell me please, which kind of filament have you used?
Yep - I’m using Paramount 3D ABS, colors are iron red and military gray
Nice!!
3D printers will never be self-rep until we can 3d print semiconductors with them. (I know that's not specifically what this video is about.)
Savage 👍
The robots are undergoing mitosis!
How about cleaning the windows before filming?! ;)
谢谢,如果有软件安装的视频就更好了
This looks like you'd be better off just upgrading an ender to its maximum.
turn out a sub 10 mins benchy on an ender (247 printing) this is a completely different beast
No.
All I can see is metal on this printer.
