I commented saying I was struggling with making content on twitch / YT and that had me depressed. You wrote back something to the effect of lighten your load and put more time into what you want to do. I have since been doing much better and I'm even back doing creative things again! 12:50 actually you may not be far off. When Rare was developing the game the game the computers required so much electricity that they constantly had power outages. Rare's development 'studio' was actually just a 300 year old barn. I don't know if that is what inspired the level, I have not seen conformation but there is a parallel to draw if you so pleased.
I love this game. I think this was the first video game I beat. I still remember sitting on the floor at Grandma’s house playing it the first time. We got the system and game for Christmas and my half sister and brother were visiting. My sister and I spent a long time playing this game and I think it’s why we got so into DK64.
I feel like a lot of those bananas are probably going to go rotten before DK can eat them. They're just sitting in a cave. The humidity in there is probably bad for them.
Apparently, the bananas are magical or have magical properties, so prolonged shelf life could be understandable. Also, through extensive research, I've found that the cage may be magical as well? This one may be a reach, though. 😅

You can get those letters above death by rolling off the ledge and jumping before the roll animation ends in midair I accidentally figured it out and boy its juicy to pull off
Choc, I love your vids, but, watching your DK vids gives me anxiety. You know things like banana's or KONG letters that are over gaps? You can roll in any DKC game, and you get some frames where you can roll OFF a platform, and then jump (think crash 4, with how sliding works)
Choc: If DK is so worried about his banana hoard then why doesn’t he just take these? Answer: That is just enough for an afternoon snack for DK.
