Been in the automotive repair industry for a while now, and lately I've been wanting to learn a new trade and tree care service and asphalt/ concrete paving have been getting my attention
😂😂😂 two completely different jobs mate there’s not much danger in concrete paving but compared to being an arborist 😂 it’s easy watching someone on a video but when you’re actually 100ft up just wearing spikes and a flip line taking the top out of a tree that if it goes back will kill you that takes bollocks I’ve always said you can’t just be an arborist you’re born like it
Can you give some advice about pruning and training alstonia tree because it spreads 4 branches from every node. I can't figure out how to maintain a good canopy
Fascinating footage ! Thanks for sharing ! You seem to be the type of person who goes out on a limb for your clients ! Did you ever consider opening a branch office ?
Its not but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he's only using them on all the stuff that's being cut eventually then slip em off for the final few cuts
Stick with it I love the job, I learnt most from working with a lot of different people found that I then learn a lot of different ways of doing things old timers are the best to learn from. Wish you the best luck mate
minimum of cs30 - cs31 plus cs32 if you want to start as a groundsman that's where I would start then get a job with a company and train up to be a climber
@@aloon1321 Wow people are denser than i thought. He is CLEARLY only spiking the portions of the tree that are being removed. This is absolutely something that i do all the time and also makes it safer and quicker for the climber.
@@chaseaspen8904 learn how to climb without spikes... if you need them on anything apart from removals or unsafe trees you are not a very good climber and you should really learn how to climb first before relying on spikes.... speed is not everything.... got the job done a bit faster... killed the tree.... who employs you where you do this 'all' the time!?
Nice work from Normandy Tennessee

What qualifications do you require too set up a business?
None. 😊
none to set up a business but to run you will need someone working for the company with the right tickets for the jobs you carry out
How come your wearing spikes on a reduction?
Safer to climb the half we are taking off, once down to near the height of reduction spikes come off
Starting to learn the trade any tips ?
