I have subbed. Can I borrow your crane though..... Haha
A great intro video to our training videos playlists. Nice one Camden!
Nearly 40yrs ago I started working in London as a tree surgeon, worked most boroughs, did a lot in Camden, Islington, even though it was a 3hr trip to get there. Dread to think what that journey would be like now. Good times, remember them well, still climbing, I must be feckin mad, though nowhere near London and the big stuff you can keep now, wish we'd had that crane grab machine, that looks like a good piece of gear...!! Stay safe chaps.
Excellent work.
Thanks guys.
When I was a kid I wanted to grow up to be a tree surgeon. But gave up the idea when I found out that I fainted at the sight of sap. I was hoping to be a success and maybe open up a branch office. I think I'd go out on a limb for my customers.
Great upload folks very interesting I’m surprised that that tree never had a presivation order slapped on it
Man these guys are awesome.
Great use of some tidy kit
I do and this didn't provide an information about the job. I'm confused.
I’m looking to make a career change into tree surgery at the ripe age of 34! I’m fit and healthy! Any advice on where to start??
awesome, may I join you brothers, great job bro
Big tree good video I like crane ;)
Big tree job big money job loads of wood 😎
"Deemed unsafe to remain"
Yeah the nannies rule the world and destroy everything magnificent.
..
God knows why they didn't simply reduce the branches and cable the "weak union".
The arborists wanted the money and the nannies wanted absolute safety.
Besides if they don't spend all the money they steal from us they won't get as much to piss away next year.
Don't ya love that feel good music as they butcher the best of living?
..
When that last piece came off I was expecting exsensive rot. Must be something wrong in order to remove such a beautiful tree.
@Silas Wild Any advice for someone looking to enter the industry?
I mean cranes are cool and all, but that tree would have been a ball to rig out.
Maybe a silly question but why not remove the part of the tree above the "fracture"?
Because it would be an eye sore
The growth that develops from the cut is generally weaker and therefore creates more safety problems and more tree maintenance costs. Sometimes trees just out-grow their space. Plant another and start again.
Hopefully those logs were milled and NOT cut into firewood...

I wouldn't really call it a day in the life considering you weren't actually talking to the camera and there wasn't much footage of what you were actually doing it is more just music and it was a very short videos so it's not really day in the life but ok
Nice video! This is something imporatant part of our environment! If anybody is looking for best services of trees, i would recommend Monmouthshire Tree Services Ltd in monmouth.
Grear stuff but dont look nowhere like camden
"potential weak point" not even a good sales pitch. I can see the salesmen watering at the mouth. Should of left the tree standing
That tree could have been saved.
Ask the trees being butchered if they think tree surgeons are "cool".
