Moving the 10 to 15 so as to accommodate a weaker 10 is to say that 15 is the priorirty position. HB made some mistakes at 10 in the last game that were rescued by the backs, Same mistakes would be more problematic if made inside the 25 and there was no cover.
Crowley should continue at 10. He's still a Newby and England are coming up.
Keenan played fly half at sevens level and constantly slots in at first receiver for Ireland. Don't know where Jackmans going with the 'distribution could be better' line of inquiry.
Jackmans has been off the boil a bit the last few months. He thought the Irish team of the 1990s was going to France
This Wales team mightened be the best at the moment but do not underestimate them would be very stupid. Im Irish ☘️ we are a great team yes but never be to cocky before any game.

Not settled. He had a poor kicking game and his replacement also needs to be given time to develop too. Wales at home is a good opportunity to give fringe players an opportunity to make a stake. The only way for Crowley to keep his performance high is if there's a competition for places and if he knows that he doesn't keep his jersey irrespective of performance. Ireland are far from pinning down the 10 jersey. Crowley only has like 6 test caps and so far his performances have been very inconsistent. He needs to be more consistent abf improve his on-field decisions and kicking game if he wants to keep the jersey. We saw what happened to Joey Carbery when he failed to live up to expectations and Crowley needs to up his performance so that he doesn't become another Carbery. So fast Crowley has no fully convinced anyone

Lads the games hasn’t been played yet we’re expected to win but it’s a banana skin because they have nothing to lose I think the Irish media and I’m Irish need to calm down because a win while expected isn’t guaranteed.
Yes it's best for the Irish to be absolutely terrified to speculate on games because hordes of SA nad NZ fans will make nasty comments as well. Best to prepare to lose.

Well well, inflict pain on Wales, have some respect, most of us Welsh realise that Ireland are a top three side and are playing very good rugby in all aspects of play and full credit for the IRFU for building this, all the pieces are now in place for success for years, so have Ireland become so arrogant now they rubbish other sides, good to see some comments on here don't reflect that, the Irish should be well aware your riding high right now but its very easy to come crashing down.
I think Wales will give us a good rattle. Young team who can surprise.

I'd prefer to give Frawley a chance at 10 over Harry Byrne. Ross Byrne is already ahead of Harry so what's the point in focusing on Harry when he'll be dropped once his brother returns?
Frawley is a far more versatile player who can cover lots of positions and that will become very important in the next a world cup when you are constrained by how many you can take to Australia. There literally won't be a place for Harry Byrne in Australia so it's a waste of time focusing on him. Farrell needs to be thinking of the WC at this point as he won't be available next year to do it because of the British Lions tour, and by the time he returns to Ireland it'll be just a year before the next WC and there won't be enough time to pin down selections at that point. So he needs to prioritise that this year.
Jack is only thinking of the present but you need to also have one eye on the 2027 WC in everything you do this reason too. It can't all be about the Six Nations or we'll make the exact same mistakes as the last WC and end up crashing out at the QF again. Our problem with the last WC was we were not thinking ahead enough as Farrell focused only on the season ahead, until the WC suddenly cane upon him Ang he ended up with a selection crisis and still a dependency on Sexton as he was not building for the WC over the 4 year cycle. We can't make that mistake again and need to emulate how South Africa handles the WC cycle. Jack is suggesting we should repeat the same mistakes
Was just looking at Jordan Larmour scoring a great try against Wales playing at FB in the 2021 tournament. Why not put him there again? He’s so dangerous in attack and I think defensive frailties at FB have been overblown.
He usually doesn't get space in internationals and he's poor under the high ball.

This sums up how poor Irish sports media is. No charisma, no meaningful insight, its like listening to lads talking in the pub. Not just UA-cam, it's on telly aswell. There, they are more inerested in getting women on camera than any notion of quality analysis. I gave up a long time ago. Much better rugby channels on UA-cam and even the English are more tolerable on the telly. Amature hour on these shores
